Images have shown up online, that Satoshi is definitely migrating to the new Shinou region (no sign of Takeshi, and Haruka and Masato are DEFINITELY gone). I guess we don't see Satoshi for a bit, but who knows? It starts at the end of the month in Japan....
Oh, and Shigeru (Gary) won't be all over the new season, but he does make an appearance in the last ep of Advance Adventure, and battles with Satoshi using the new Electabuzz evolution ^_^

Diamond and Pearl? Blah. When will it end??? And why is the anime running longer than Digimon when Digimon had better storylines and characters (Frontier excluded)? What's sad is I would probably still be playing the games if they hadn't made so much crap for it (plush toys, card games, eventually annoying anime, etc. etc. etc...). Oh well....

Yeah, the new guy joining Satoshi reminds me of one of the Brains for some reason. Still hoping that Shigeru will have reoccurring roles.

Ash and Brock are staying then, new coustumes, same old, same old, at least this time there's no annoying brother tailing the girl. Would have preferred it if Misty could come back for once, her cameos in Battle Frontier prove the dynamic can work, and it'd provide good drama, but hey when was the last time this show ever had that? When they prematurley ended Advance's top villains , Team Aqua and Team Magma

man, i am so tired of the "digimon is better than pokemon line." yes, it is. happy? the digimon anime is (plot-wise) a lot stronger than pokemon, but where's digimon been the last three years? and if i recall, seasons 3 and 4 were no gems. decent, but not better than pokemon those years. and, i'm pretty sure i'm right about this, digimon never produced any million-selling video games, either
i think aqua and magma were interesting, but really were only eco-terrorists. they were best in the emerald version, i think, but just came off a little hokey in the anime (except for the final batter between the two, of course ^_^)

I'll have to go with neoboy, Digimon has only ever had TWO good seasons, the first and Tamers (which was and still is MILES better than Pokemon right now and it's insane to think otherwise), Pokemon has had four (Kanto, Orange Islands, and Advance and Advance Battle), and some really solid movies that brought majesty back to the long term series movie format

Advanced Generation has ended on 28th of September (in Japan I think), Pocket Monsters (in Japan they are called this instead of Pokemon) Diamond/Pearl will premiere with 3 new episodes!
As you can see, Ash & Brock got new clothes, May & Max are on there way to Johto to enter the contests! And we will get a new trainer, the female trainer from Diamond and Pearl, named, Hikari.
