Here's why everyone should try your best to get the first release versions of Diamond and Pearl in Japanese:

Gamefaqs' forum on Diamond and Pearl explains a way to get Darkrai and Sheimi WITHOUT using an event, by exploiting an in-game programming glitch. Nintendo recently found out about this, and they're working on new editions of Diamond and Pearl that fix this problem. Plus you can bet your DS that the American release will not contain this glitch. So, this is your only chance to get a "legit" Darkrai and Sheimi, other than visiting a Nintendo event (which is practically impossible for some of us).

Yea..and be sure to follow the steps correctly or else you risk losing your data and having to restart. Very nasty and if you make an additional step more than required, kudos to your save data. You end up gettin stuck on land in which you can NEVER fly, use escape rope or any other means....erm, there's only 1 way...RESTART! Please take real caution when attempting this glitch my friends.

Well, it is nearly impossible to make every nintendo event (I only missed the Deoxys one), but there's something special about going to one. Feel a little like you earned it, instead of exploiting a glitch to get a legendary. That's why my Red Version game genie Mew will never be as special as the one I got on my GBA at TRU this fall.

You are very lucky neoboy......i wish i could attend these events but my country's distance and parents prevent me from going. That's why when an in-game glitch is found, we the event-wanna goes are happy.
