One of my best friends was in a situation very much like this. The long distance thing eventually killed the relationship, but you've got another guy in the picture complicating it further.

You've got that wrong. If she has someone else in her heart, you don't want her. Long distance relationships are agonizing enough when both people are fully committed. You'll put yourself through hell and back if you're always wondering if she's with or thinking of another guy when you're not at her side. Give her a fond farewell and find a girl closer to you. Don't restrict yourself to where your at, don't revolve your life around girls in your school and just your neighbourhood, hang out more at different places, know which girl is right for you.

Besides, never hide who you really are. Being honest will really tells you whether this girl is who you really want, whether or not she like you for who you are and not what you watch or do.

Man,I seriously had to learn this lesson not a week ago.

It's tough,especially if you have genuine feelings for the girl, but you gotta let it go. It's just a waste of your time to be the only one interested in being in a relationship.
