Overdrive Tracker Turbo?!

CRETINS! ALL OF THEM!
I was at Toys 'R' Us today and I went to check the Power Rangers section... still not a lot of Jungle Fury toys made it here (I can forget any of those special edition figures too I bet) but I saw something weird. An Overdrive Tracker 'Turbo' version in red, white and golden yellow. It also look ever so slightly bigger than the normal one...

I'm actually considering getting it since the only morpher I got is the Dino Thunder one and I'm wondering if I should go with the Turbo or normal Tracker, if there is any difference beyond the coloring I mean.

The one thing that bothers me is that the unlike then ormal one its bottom part casing is made up of two color so on the side, where the lamp is, you see the frontier clear as day. If the plastic around the lamp had been only one color (maybe I could add some gold paint hmm.... ) it would look pretty darn cool.

your pretty late on that, but from what i've heard it's crappy.

but my Bandai America toy days are long over, its all about Bandai Japan:thumbs:

Yet thousands are still buying Bandai America's PR stuff... then they complain about how it sucks compared to Bandai Japan... and yet they go out and buy more months later, LOL.

As for the Jungle Fury line, I actually like it. The figures have great molds, and the Zords don't look that bad either for toys. I mean, if you're a hardcore collector, then stick with Bandai Japan people on having to buy the American stuff, bitch, moan and cry about how they should have imported, then actually import what they wanted in the first place, then go back to Wal Mart half a year later and buy the latest Zord... and the cycel is repeated all over again.
 
My Dino Thunder morpher is the only PR toy I actually own XD

So for the same price, which one would be the better pick? The original or turbo version? I suppose it just comes down to look huh?
 
Get the original. Its more show accurate. The other is just a repaint. They didnt even paint the back of it. I honestly think it looks like crap.
 
If Bandai had been smart they would have made special Once a Ranger re-release of old morphers (plus a new Mastodon morpher...don't tell me the prop didn't look like a toy!) with the only change be that they play the theme song for each ranger XD I bet kids would have grabbed that Mastodon morpher faster than free candy.

Probably not. I mean, 1) He's not a red ranger, so according to Bandai's logic "They won't care unless it's the Red Ranger". and 2) None of the kids who are young enough to be today's target audience are old enough to even recognize Adam, unless they were told by an older viewer. As far as they know, Adam (and his ranger powers) was a brand new character to Power Rangers; never been on it before.
 

I think Adam was cool enough in the episode to interest kids if you ask me.

Off course the Red Ranger arguement still stand, but in all fairness Adam WAS the 'Red' of that team, in spirit anyway if not suit color.
 
Stupid bandai and their stupid...stupid...

I bet if this were japan, and they had a OAR episode, we would've gotten a rerelease, if only in limited numbers
