So Chiba IS in this? I'm so there. I love shows where a lot of the cast members come from tokusatsu.

yup, he confirmed it on his blog. there are actually a lot of good J-dramas out there with quite a number of tokusatsu actors in it, be it main characters or even just one ep cameo!

I'm a sucker for live action adaptations...

True. Currently watching Moyashimon Drama starring Yuuichi Nakamura and Natsuki Kato (Zeronos and Femme respectively). Even Date (Birth) and Ultraman Jack (forgot his name) made a little cameo. I've seen the anime a few months ago and it's good to see the scenes come to life.

this is not his first major work, he's currently starring in the stage show version of Tumbling! and did voice dub for an American animated movie featuring rabbits (dunno what's the exact name). I guess he's the next Matsuzaka.

he's GoseiRed/Arata. the twins who played GekiBlue and Fake GekiBlue are also casted.

Chiba Yudai is/was Alata/GoseiRed from Goseiger.
The guy picked for Tamaki was Tsurugi from KR Kabuto.
Manpei Takagi was GekiBlue and his twin brother Shinpei is playing the other twin (Shinpei guest-starred on Geki once).

WTF...are you serious? I forgot what that rabbit movie is called, but that's ama...wait..nvm I thought you meant he worked on the American movie with the American crew. You mean the Japan version of the movie.
