But the bad news is, they're not legal . . .

From MonsterZero Message Boards:

Here's what BCI said about the forthcoming releases:

I can't discuss the legal case as I'm not directly involved in it, but
we have licensed the show from a company that dealt with Chiayo.

The series will arrive on DVD in July and will launch at ComicCon in San
Diego.

From Keith Aiken:

Guys, this has been said again and again.... Tsuburaya has not (and will not) license the original shows for US DVD until Chaiyo is out of the picture. That's not going to change.

So until you hear that Chaiyo is gone, you should automatically take any report like this as 1) a completely false rumor, or 2) Chaiyo trying to make money off stolen materials.

Remember that Chaiyo only has video rights to the first 6 shows IN THAILAND ONLY!!!!! Thus, they are breaking the law for the second time.

This is not legal. If these do come out, I will not support them.

I hope Tsuburaya (who really has the rights to the shows) will take legal action IMMEDIATELY.

If this is true I don't see how this release can last very long. America is king when it comes to copyright infringment cases. Whoever distributes these to American retailers should be prepared to expect the consequences of an oncoming legal battle. The US founded the concept of a copyright I imagine someone will blow the whistle on this soon enough.

Exactly!

And for all we know, maybe the next court case will be here in the US, and pray to God, as a result, Chaiyo's case will be thrown out of court.
