1) This is fucking awesome!

2) I remember me an PA suggested the same thing before, that maybe one of the villain groups in PR:OO could be Zedd and Rita's son or something similar.

3) Most of you guys have no imagination. Zedd and Rita could have conceived a secret child (Zedd was in love with Rita and there WAS that time after Zeo and between Turbo where Zedd and Rita are just in the bed together when Divatox calls... Hm? Hm?! BOO FREAKING YA!!) and while Rita and Zedd would be good, we never know that the Z-Wave didnt reach everyone. There were still remnants of the Machine Empire left. Who's the say Zedd and Rita's child couldnt have been affected by this wave. (Maybe he was staying with Master Vile and we dont know, as far as I can recall, what happened to him in the Z-wave)

His parents may be good, but he would still want revenge and to destroy the rangers. Perhaps, if someone was caring for him such as his granfather Master Vile, he would have been told hateful stories of the rangers time and time again. His hatred and lust for revenge would have grown.

You see, most people here just say "OMG IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE **** YOU BRUCE!!!". But if you take 1 minute to say "well I guess it could work if..". Use your imaginations for the sake of the shows continuity. Please.

4) Did I say, bad ass?! Cause damn this is awesome. We knew from PA that there would be a team up (of some kind amongst past rangers) but the enemy being Lord Zedd and Rita's son?! That is all kinds of fucking awesome!

Yeah, I don't understand how this "doesn't make sense." A child born during Turbo would suddenly see his parents turned human...basically, killed from his perspective, by the rangers. There's no reason he wouldn't want revenge, and given the fact that he's a union of two different alien species, he could be old enough to beat up the rangers now.

I just hope they don't use a random Boukenger monster for him.

In C2D Zedd and Rita are made humans, so how would he son be out for revenge? Plus remember Udonna’s little line in “Mystic Fate”; “Known as Rita in her dark days!”. Meaning she somehow regained her magic and became good. I know at least one person mentioned this, but I think it bares repeating. so I'm not sure I ENTIRELY believe that part of it just yet. Although GrnPsychoGarren theory on it isn't too far off. Like he said, part of the Machine Empire remained and so did other evil otherwise we wouldn't be talking about a team up right now.

You know time travel is going to be involved though in order to have an SPD Ranger in it.

All in all though I hope they have someone who KNOWS the past Rangers (pre-Bruce) to help write it if not let them write it themselves. There will be a less likely chance of them getting butchered then like they did with the DT Rangers in *shudders* “Wormhole”.

The son would have been birthed before C2D and the Son could want revenge because he is still evil and sees his human parents as "dead" to him. He would blame the rangers for taking away his parents and his right to an evil empire.

I decided to go to supersentai.com and look at all the pictures of the Bouken monsters. I gotta say, none of them look good enough to be the "son of Zedd" in my opinion. I'm deserpately hoping it's a new suit and that hopefully it's bad ass looking. And if they're smart, they'll try to explain the backstory on the son.

Guys, you have to give Bruce, Jackie, and Koichi more credit than that. They all know what c2d is and what happened with Lord Zedd and Rita. And they arent dumb enough to forget Rita's cameo in MF. So they deserve more than what the fans are giving them.

I think the son was birthed after C2D because of the simple fact that all evil was destroyed in that ep. Now you can take FR into account, but I really doubt it. And even so, the rest of the evil was destroyed in FR. My thought is that although Rita and Zedd were "turned" good, there was still an amount of evil deep down inside. This evil would be handed down to Rita and Zedd's offspring.

Another possible scenario could be that shortly after her son was born, Rita "left" Zedd with the baby to pursue obtaining the power we all saw in MF. As time continues, the son questions his past, and what his mom was like. Zedd tells him the whole story (including his evil past), alongside why Rita left him. The son then starts to question the "good power" that his mom had left to pursue because it resulted in him not knowing a mother, and his dad being left alone. The son proceeds to search for his mom. On his journey, he learns of the "two sides" to power, and chooses to believe evil is superior. He then comes across the new rangers (OO), and has intentions of getting revenge because he believes the "good" is responsible for him not knowing his mother.

BAM, we have a nice story :thumbs:
