People care about this anime dubbed?

Well, I for one have some of the FUNimation DVD's.

I can go into an incredibly long and vicious tirade against 4Kids for everything that was wrong with the dub they did for it but I'll just numb it to the bare essentials.

1)Episode skipping-This automatically makes any dub fail in my book (except, maybe Pokemon?). I hate when edited dubs skip episodes. And it wasn't even a few episodes, it was like two entire arcs. One of which would have caused a serious continuity issue down the way if 4Kids still had the show.

2)Voices just don't work-I think Marc Diraison's Zolo and maybe Robin were the only ones that I could stand (Zolo actually sounded good. He just had horrible lines). The rest were just pretty crappy. Especially Sanji. I mean, how could you even like that voice? It was just so damn stupid. That throaty frog sound of a voice just does not work.

3)No dual-language DVD's-But I could have forgiven all of this if we had uncut DVD's. Unfortunately, I did not realized that 4Kids does not do that and as such, I had no incentive to buy them or encourage others to. Nobody does dub-only these days anyway.

4)Hammergun-You put that in an anime and your reputation is just about dead.

Sanji: "Sorry, Zolo. Doing this Brooklyn accent makes it difficult to concentrate."
Chopper: "I know what you mean! My voice is pretty crazy too!"
