One Piece (4kids)

Hey guys, I have a few questions for the 4kids version of One Piece,
1) Why didn't people like the opening? I personally loved it.
2) Why didn't people like the voices? I liked those aswell.

1. People felt that Rap Music didn't suit the Pirate Theme. That and 4Kids has a bad habit of using rap for the wrong shows. Just like with the Mystic Force opening. The intro wasn't that bad, but felt that it didn't fit the theme.

2. I actually like the 4Kids voices; the problem was the dialog coming out of the characters mouths like Zoro...err...Zolo's bad habit of barking.:sly:

Furthermore...what they did with the Zoro name change and the "Laboon is a log" bit was just insulting.

2) again i agree with freedom some of the dialog was terrible and i personally hate sanjis nasally accent but i do prefer zoro's 4kids voice over his funi one i think it fits his more comedic moments better but thats just me

i do prefer zoro's 4kids voice over his funi one i think it fits his more comedic moments better but thats just me

i still prefer the original mainly because after watching the 4kids dub i got into the original and watched every episode and by the time funimation got ahold of it i was upto date with the series and didnt want to rewatch it simply because it was in english although i watched a couple of eps to see what they did edit and VA wise.
