Old vs new p2

Senshi no Hikari
i just dont get most Newer/Western anime fans who say oh like anime but they have such a closed view on anime they say something is rubbish Just cause its old without giving ot a chance while i admit im stuck in my ways but ie i love my good old anime Eldoran braves Tetsuwan Atomu and stuff like that
but i gave newer anime a Chance but BLEACH Naruto One piece[ i like OP more than the others] are filler filled crap heaps of anime while Say Dragon Ball Z had No filler it went 1 Chapter 1 Episode why cant Modern Shounen Go that pace ad art style in modern anime is abysmal the Naruto Generation Fail to this and look for good look rather than decent story

USY for example had a good story Fantastic Mech design and awesome ost but newer lot refuse to See this and say it looks bad there for it must be bad

Allow me.

I just don't get most new/Western anime fans who say "I like anime" but have such a close-minded view on anime. They say something is rubbish just because it's old without giving it a chance. While I admit I'm stuck in my ways, I love my good old anime- Eldoran, Braves, Tetsuwan Atomu and stuff like that.

I gave newer anime a chance, but BLEACH, Naruto, and One piece (I liked OP more than the others) are filler-filled crap heaps of anime while, say, Dragon Ball Z had no filler- it went 1 Chapter, 1 Episode. Why can't modern shounen go that pace? And art style in modern anime is abysmal. The Naruto generation fails to this and looks for good looks rather than a decent story.

USY, for example, had a good story, fantastic mech design, and an awesome OST, but newer lot refuse to see this and say "it looks bad, therefore it must be bad."

Fact of the matter is, you can't please everyone. So what if older stuff doesn't appeal to someone? Who cares. It doesn't affect you enjoying it, so why give a flip? Besides, how is them not liking something old different from you not liking newer stuff? Is your opinion somehow more valid than theirs? And for that matter, how do you know they dislike older series just because they're old? Isn't it possible that they watched some of them and decided that they just didn't care for it?

Oh, and one more thing.

Dragon Ball Z had no filler

Excuse me as I laugh uproariously at this.

Bigone how old are you because from the threads you make you make it seem like you've lived since Astroboy was made and that you've seen every anime? (Not trying to sound mean)

Ok so your one of the older member in this site but do you really thing you've seen 99% of anime from before 2000? Honestly? You'd have to be way older for that! There's no way you could watch every animated show on every channel in Japan. Not to mention having a job, social life, or even going out side the house and guess what you don't know anything. You think you do because you've spent all your time watching show after show but it's not the animation itself that matters and yes some shows have fillers but it's what the shows teach you that count and yes of course the old shows came up with classic plot twist first but every type of show and movie animated or not copy them now it's how well there executed that counts. I'm not saying every new show is better than the older ones and of course there are classics that are far better than what we have now but not seeing the value in new shows just makes you an old man who's stuck in the past.
