Old news but...

Oricon: promising actors for '08
Wed, January 16, 2008 (5:07am EST)==========================================================
An Oricon survey asked 800 young people, "which actor do you have high expectations for in 2008?" At the top of the list was 19-year-old Yusuke Yamamoto, who gained popularity last year for his role as Kashiyama in the drama series "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e."

That drama series also helped boost Masaki Okada (#2 in the survey) and Hiro Mizushima (#5). Meanwhile, Haruma Miura and Takeru Sato ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively.
==========================================================

So my questions for which actor do you have high expections?

This isn't old news to me. :D

Now, if we're going by toku people, Takeru Sato and Hiro Mizushima are the ones I'd pick to shine. I think Hiro is already doing pretty well for himself as it is, hopefully his career keeps getting better. Takeru Sato is also a pretty darn good actor, that with the popularity of Den-O, I think he's got a bright future ahead of him.

I'm really surprised that Yusuke Yamamoto came in first place on this thing. He hasn't been in too many drama and the ones he was in were mostly bit parts. It would be pretty cool if his career took off though, he was my second favorite actor in Kabuto.

Sadly enough, I feel Hiro is being typecasted in roles. Ever since Hana Kimi, he's been getting player roles. I had expected Watashitachi no Kyoukasho to really show his versatility, but it seems the popularity of Hana Kimi killed it.

Takeru is just starting out, so he has a full career in front of him. He's only 19 :)

This is not old news not least for me :redface2:

Well, i have high hopes for Hiro. He is doing well as it is and while i haven't seen Zettai Kareshi yet, i have high expectations for it since he is in it. As for Takeru and Yuusuke, both are still young and have a big, bright future ahead of them.
