What does it say about a "ultimate mecha combo" when you're just going to introduce two more robos after it? What's the point of having that combo if it's not going to be your "big finisher" so to speak? It just makes it irrelevant.

A show like Kaku managed to add more toys in and didn't really change up the tone of the show all that much so, that reason doesn't work too well for Oh.
(and, Kaku was just one year prior)
