Yep, it's from a woman who does a lot of Lara Croft cosplaying

It's in the catsuit sub-gallery but here's the pic that manip used

I was originally going to use it for a Madame Masque manip.

You really have to loosen up.

Look I get for the Nolanverse stuff everything must be sacrificed on the holy altar of "realism" but seriously if Batman can have his costume in some form then even in that context it doesn't work to reduce Catwoman's down to just a black suit with no visible cat motif whatsoever. Especially not when the design they are basing that on has already done 90% of the job including making her cowl into a functional hood and goggles for a mask.

Now it could just be that the pics from the particular scene being filmed she for whatever reason just doesn't have it, ok fine. But if they're having Catwoman in the film but actively avoiding her basic motif then that's a lame choice that makes her visually more generic IMO. She might as well be Black Widow.

I get your point, but let's look at this in the perspective that we are only in Batman's universe... Not in any other DC or Marvel stories. IIRC, Selina Kyle was pretty much the only iconic character to don that type of outfit being a "cat-burglar" and all. I mean, we call cat-burglars that name not because they look like a cat, but because of the use of their agility, penetrating secured areas through hard to reach places like high windows, vents, etc. With this info, it's easy to conclude without even using the process of elimination to know that she's Selina Kyle. Maybe she'll get a full cat costume in the middle, maybe she won't, but that really doesn't affect the plot at all, is all I'm saying.

Exactly. MattComix, it's obvious you're a counter-realist when it comes to comic book characters, but you've got about a bazillion other fans that disagree with you. Let's try not to ruin it for them, whaddya say?

Catwoman is supposedly on a similar journey to Bruce in that she'll evolve her look.

Bruce started out with just a ski mask and base jumping equipment

On a break from shooting right now, but this has been one of the coolest days of my life.

- met and spoke with Charles Roven
- watched Nolan and Pfister discussed multiple scenes from about 15 feet or less...and then shoot them
- Hardy's stunt double walked right in front of me
- met Pittsburgh's mayor and was filmed in a shot next to him
- havent been out for the explosions or Tumblers or Bane...yet
- met and spoke with Tim Crawley, who is portraying a referee on the field. He was Coach Crowley on every season of Friday Night Lights, my favorite TV show of all time.
- ate two big, free meals
- watched them film the Steelers' and Bill Cowher's scenes.
- watched them film Hines Ward's kick return scene...mostly by his stunt double/stand-in

It's only 3pm and we expect to be here until at LEAST 7pm...and we're here all day tomorrow. Should be lots of great more stuff to come!

Oh, and...

- it's one of Nolan's son's birthdays. Their nanny brought the kids out on the field and that particular son stood hand-in-hand with his dad (Nolan) while he directed some scenes! Very cool.

- Chris, Emma, their children, and their nanny all ate in the catering tent with everyone else. I thought that was very humble of them.
- Nolan put on enough sunscreen to survive a nuclear attack

I'm sure there's more I forgot...will post more when I can!
