No More SHT Movies?

Frankly, I think the OhvsKaku movie is still the best of them. The rangers weren't forced into the plot to fight each other and the two villains worked well together despite being completely different.

The only issue is the movie doesn't make sense since Bacchuwrath should be dead and Gasket should be an adult or Bomber the Great should be in charge.

Never heard of Kyuranger vs Space Squad though. Shouldn't it be Zyuohger? Either way, whatever. I have no plans to suffer through any more Kyuranger stories once the series is done.

So the guy who made this initial statement that Heisei Generations FINAL was to be the last big crossover movie has now been made a producer on Kamen Rider Zi-O and look what just got announced.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER, to be released on December 22nd.

Not surprised since cleary Toei has no idea what they are doing anymore. They're pretty much just blind men playing hoops hoping something goes into the net.

Calling it now, the Heisei Generations Forever villain will be either some ugly monster or Rider that fuses the designs from Kuuga - Ex-Aid.

I always found it hard to believe that Toei would stop with crossover movies, and frankly I think Zi-O as an anniversary series almost warrants a "Heisei Generations" film.

Shirakura never claimed that the winter movies or crossovers in general would be stopping though, just that the SHT series and the spring movies would stop. I don't get why people assumed he was talking about the winter movies too - I wasn't posting here at the time, but it happened in other forums too, which is kind of bizarre.

Also, regarding the spring movies, a big part of the issue with them is that they were almost exclusively directly by Osamu Kaneda. He was always a mediocre director and only seemed to get lazier throughout the years. Look at his filmography

By the second half of that list (Gaim, Rider 1, CSHT) he was constantly breaking the Heisei Rider record (not counting the remake movies) and his own record of low box office. They even hid his name from CSHT's marketing until they made the first screening when they had to reveal full movie credits.
