This week’s out-of-nowhere Nintendo product was dropped this afternoon with only an hour’s advance warning. It’s a new mobile app, Nintendo Music, and it does what it sounds like: it plays nothing but music from Nintendo games. At the moment the launch lineup consists of the soundtrack from 22 games, and includes music from the Splatoon, Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and Fire Emblem series, plus quite a few surprises. If you want the Wii Shop Channel music, it’s in there. And if what you’re craving ISN’T in there, Nintendo has promised to update the app on a regular basis with additional soundtracks. Is there any requirement? Just one…you must be a paid Nintendo Switch Online member to use the app. So in a sense, it is a paid app even if you can download it for free. This all sounds pretty great, but I have one immediate concern: is Nintendo going to use the existence of this app as an excuse to stomp any and all YouTube uploads of Nintendo game soundtracks? I hope not, but it would be in line with past behavior (and also, they’ve done it plenty of times already, app or no […]

Hmm, interesting move by Nintendo. I already have most of this stuff on Spotify. But the spoiler filter is kinda neat, gotta admit. Maybe it's worth checking out for those hidden gems I haven't played yet. Still, free is always good, so why not?

Now this is something I can get behind! My kids are obsessed with those Pokemon games, and sometimes I catch myself humming those catchy tunes. This app might be a good way to bond with them and relive some childhood memories of my own. Plus, it'd be nice to have some calming Zelda music for those chaotic mornings.

Oh man, this takes me back! Remember that epic Mario music that got your adrenaline pumping during those late-night gaming sessions? Or the calming tunes that transported you to the world of Hyrule? This app is a goldmine for nostalgia trips. Can't wait to crank up some classic soundtracks and relive those golden gaming days.

Hmm, some of these upbeat Nintendo tracks could be awesome for workout playlists! Especially some of those high-energy Pokemon battle themes. Maybe this app could become my secret weapon for getting that extra push during my next gym session.

Few games manage to balance rich storytelling and exciting mechanics as well as this one. I discovered Gates of Olympus https://gatesonolympus.com/ while searching for a new experience, and it exceeded all my expectations. The graphics are mesmerizing, capturing the grandeur of Greek mythology in vivid detail. What makes it even better are the bonus rounds—they’re unpredictable, thrilling, and often highly rewarding. For anyone looking to mix mythology with gaming, this title is an absolute must-try.
