I'm not surprised about the Fast and Furious sequel... that franchise still prints money.
I loved Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick was..... largely flawed, but I enjoyed the whole "Conan in Space" action and story. I really want more of that, although it went out of its way to prove it didn't deserve more installments.
