I am sorry to bother you guys but I just joined RangerBoard and I would like to know if any member can tell me some "tips and tricks" or at least anything I should know about being a member on RangerBoard.

I'll give you some pointers and what not to do (i'm one of the older regulars that goes way back to the very first board that PRC had)



1. Do not introduce yourself (they don't care if a new member is new, they only care about participating in topics). I'm sure hope you didn't introduce yourself. Just go with the flow of participating in topics after you have joined which you already did

2. Make sure you post in the right forums.

3. If your asking about avatars, only VIP Members gets them. If you want one, you have to donate 10 bucks in order to become a VIP member.

4. Signatures are not allowed as Zyuray doesn't like banners in sigs as he thinks they are annoying and ridicolous and members are always changing banners which annoys him.

5. Try not to spam too much or they'll flame you.

Hmmm...that's all I can think of so far. I'm sure I missed some other pointers lol

Dont be a retard and you will be fine. Rangerboard is not a strict place. You cant even flame there anymore. Well you can put people in their place but you get a 2 day ban for flame pics (if they are used in really bad taste anyway).

In other words, be yourself and dont cause trouble and you are fine. I mean wtf. RB isnt a horrible and uptight place.

I've rambled and meowed there for a few years now and I've never been banned once. I've been flamed like 2 or three times but I took it like a man because in those instances I deserved the flaming via a stupid comment or ignorant comment.

But its not like that anymore (sadly).

But um yeah. No introductions. Or actually. you CAN do that now! There is a STICKY thread for introducing yourself. So go nuts with that. Just try your best to mingle. Read topics, reply, join in the fun. Be yourself. Its not hard. If I can be at Rangerboard without ever getting banned once, I think anyone can do it.
