Man, the movie looks awesome! Can't wait to watch it! The way they showed the live-action and the manga versions of the characters was awesome! By the way, was that a song by Boom Boom Satellites?

I'm psyched but at the same time not really. Just because knowing some jmovies, they'd probably make the death scenes look cheesy as hell! and hell if it'll be as good as the anime/source material. You can really tell I wasn't really all gaga towards the Death note Live action movie :laugh: but whatever. Can't wait!!

Well, to be honest, yeah the Death Note movie changed a lot. But when you really think about it, they kept in the original themes and intent of the manga creators in the movie. That's what I like about Japanese adaptations of manga. They may deviate, but they still bring something good to the table, and don't make it something COMPLETELY different. All I have to compare right now is the Death Note Live action to Dragonball Evolution, and we can obviously see that Japan cares about how they adapt their own work
