Marvel were always going to bring back Cap, him being somebody else isnt new if you've read the classic titles. Cap communicating with the replacement Obi-Wan style means his soul has probably been preserved by the same stuff that has been underlaying all of the Marvel Universe since "Avengers Dissassembled", the abuse of sorcery.
It'd be cool if his soul is trapped within the Cosmic Cube
Within the next few months, Rogers will be back, this is just the second stage of Marvel preparing for a big pay-off with such a return, there already teasing it by bringing a Rogers from the past along with The Invaders into the present day during Alex Ross' "The Return" Maxi-Series
I love the gun. Immediatly sets apart this Cap from Rogers and reminds me of the columbia theatrical serials.
