New Amazon in Decade...Not right?

Hey I just watched the RAW of Amazon's world in Decade
Now I don't think the actor is a bad actor but I think he doesn't feel like amazon...or a kamen rider at all.
I have noticed that is voice seems to be the same tone ALL the time and each time he pulls off a hissatsu and says the attack...it sounds like a 6th grade standing up infront of the class and reading stuff, it seems like there isn't any emotion in his voice!
Like if you compare all the other riders when they yell out their attack to this guy...it just seems so out of place
Regular amazon would all be like CHOU DAISETSUUDAN!!! and like yell it out
The new amazon is like...chouuuu daiiisetsudannnnnnnnnn
It's kind of hard to explain O.O Anybody notice any of this?

Yeh, I noticed it from the get-go. I know that the character is supposed to be from the wild like Tarzan and just not accustomed to the local language. But in this case, it seems like an amateur actor trying to act like Tarzan and failing. Failing at Tarzan is not an easy task. IDK, this is probably the only time that Decade has missed the mark. They could have really done something with this character. And everything else going on around him is pretty cool. Its just....that acting....wow.

Though I have to admit, that henshin sequence for amazon was kickass..but after that everything amazon failed D:

I've got mixed feelings on him. As I said when I talked about the episode here, I don't think they could have picked a harder Rider to recapture. Particularly so when you take Okazaki out of things because he got into that role so deeply. Even when Amazon was appearing as just a guy in a suit, it's hard to get him just right.

I like some of what Enrique's doing, but they definitely cast him on looks first, and maybe that he is authentically a man out of his depth (i.e., not really an actor.) That probably wasn't the smartest decision, but I still want to see how next episode goes.

Dude, I totally agree. I mean I give the episode 5/5 but the whole Amazon thing. The new guy for Amazon...I though he did an okay job. I mean. He's got the whole generic jungle boy referring himeself in the third person dialouge down. He looks good. My only gripe is, He isn't selling the Kamen Rider Amazon aspect like the original actor. I mean the original made me feel that he was from the amazon. But the new guy. He isn't screaming at the top of his lungs like the orginal. I was worried when he henshin like...."aaaaa-maaaa-zooonn" I bet every other Amazon fan wanted the new guy to say "AAAAAA-MAAAAA-ZOOONNN!!!" like a psycho I also figured that they would tone down Amazon's brutal fighting style. But overall. It was still a great episode and Now I wanna watch the original Kamen Rider Amazon. And after I promised my Japanese friend I would watch it. BTW you don't have to wait for TVN to sub it. There a guy on youtube who has the episode subbed...Unless you full understand Japanese.

didnt know he was not an actor. Is he just a model or something?

And I kept wondering out of all the Riders to bring back, why Amazon? Maybe its cuz Im not too into Amazon, but I kept wondering why they didnt bring back another rider like Super-1 or maybe one of the original Riders. I guess it was the best way to depict a world ruled by DaiShocker. But, I think they still could have done it with another rider.

He's primarily a fashion model. He does have some acting credits, but, well, see for yourself. So I cut him some slack, but at the same time wonder why Toei didn't opt for a more professional actor. I really do think someone was like "Hey, this guy's been in a movie and some commercials, and he's really from South America. He'd be great."

Having seen the episode a few times (though I still got to wait for Part 2 if they go anywhere with this) I think they chose Amazon because how, like Tsukasa, he doesn't fit in anywhere. He's "home"... but not. That's something they kept from the original series.

I still say it would be cool to see one of the one-shot Riders do there thing, like Kamen Rider J, or ZO, or....Kamen Rider G. lol

I personally don't mind the new Amazon. He's nothing compared to the original or anything but it's nothing to bothers me right now.

Finally! Some one or everyone it looks like agrees with me here! I hate the new Amazon. I never had watched Amazon till Nana showed some videos to me and I got like the Henshin in my head now (and will never leave). When the new guy was like "A-MA-ZON" I was like, "LAME LAME LAME LAME!"
