HEROW
As some of you may know, I'm a half-marathon runner... But I want to add something new to my arsenal, which is boxing.
I've been running for years now, from 5KM, to 10KM, to 16KM, to 21KM, and eventually 42KM and above for the months to come. I've lost a lot of my weight due to this and perhaps all of these burned up a lot of my muscle mass too... So I was wondering if boxing might be the missing variable to this equation, so that I can sculpt a lean (not buffed) body instead of the thin frame I have now due to my sessions in running, yoga, and some weight-lifting.
So does doing long runs and boxing work hand-in-hand? Will running just burn up whatever I build in boxing? Or will boxing make me a bit heavier for running?
Thanks in advance.
