There is a difference between getting inspired by something and asking point blank for ideas. If you take ideas you get here, then all you are really writing is a big fanfic. You need to do something like this yourself.

I have a huge backstory at work for that penpal.

Kingranger, the way I'm writing it is to give homage only, not to rip anything off . The core technology and concept goes far beyond what i want to type as i do not want my concept to be ripped off by someone else. I'll PM you tonight in a little while because i don't want to give out too much too soon, just the basic concept I started with.

This world is set on an alternate time-line which 2012 does happen by nuclear war aka WWIII. I do not believe or endorse such a farce.
