NBC'S HEROES Season 2 - Talkback

I'll start off with the disappointing:

-Badly executed death for Mr. Nakamura. I didn't want him to die and the way he died was a bit quick and awkward. George Takei is too awesome for that.

-Kensai was a freaking asshole British guy.

Still, I thought it was a pretty good premiere but nothing spectacular. I liked the new Honduras heroes and think that they will somewhat replace Micah and Nicky(not that they won't appear every 2-3 episodes). I think that she spreads some sort of virus, poison, or disease and possibly when her brother is gone or when she is distressed, it activates.

With the Hiro/Kensai story, I really don't like who Kensai is and I hope Hiro takes things into his own hands and steals the sword, effectively making himself Kensai. I also slightly dislike how unrealistically they display the past, but it doesn't overly bother me.

I'm enjoying Claire and Mr. Bennet in California but I find this new love interest for Claire to be exactly like the friend she had in Odessa, except he flies. Is it a coincidence he has identical powers to Nathan? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe the writers are running out of powers(doubt it though).

I'm slightly skeptical about if it was a great idea to make Peter have amnesia but I bet the writers have something good planned. As for the Mohinder/Bennet attempt at infiltrating the company, I have only praise for that story-line. It was one of the more suspenseful and interesting parts of the episode.

Anyways, I'm just happy that the second season of what in my mind is the best show in years has begun.

What is Maya's power OTHER then her eyes turning black, black "tears" running down her face and everyone dies? It's freaky.

Maya Causes deadly disease under stress, Alejandro Cures disease caused by his sister And i'll like to corret myself the actors are dominican the characters are hundoran

Hiro continues to rock.

I thought Kensai being immortal was kinda.. deus ex.

What bothered me most about the beating of Peter, was that he was chained and shirtless...... why would they think he stole anything???

What else.... oh! That symbol. Is that really a Japanese character? Cuz it looks like one half of a DNA double helix.

So as of the most recent episode, The Haitian( anyone ever catch his name?) is working with Bennett, Parkman, and Suresh(sounds like a lawfirm) to bring down the organization. And in the comic, before finding Bennett at the Copy Kingdom he got a damn blessing from the loa spirits. That's Badass.

Oh side note- Ever since I started watching I have had Heroes dreams...which is odd. Each time I have a different ability. Last night I dreamt I had abilities similar to Niki only instead of being one person with two personalities, I had the choice to split myself into two exact copies each with their own personality and I was always aware of what both personalities were doing. Weird...

That is a sign that you need to stop watching Heroes for a while >__>

Heres a good power I'd like to see in Heroes, shooting lighting from your eyes :O_O:

I'm predicting that due to Hiro's actions, he's going to make Kensei the main villian of this series. Kensei can heal and if he's got any kind of Wolverine healing factor... it could make him immortal. This would explain why people get the sign of the Kensei before he kills them.

Anyone else notice the sign of the Kensei looks like one half of a DNA double-helix?

I absolutely hated the West flying sequence. Sorry, but his "charm" bugs the frell outta me and how he can badger a girl into crying and running out of the room, then telling her to shut-up, "Look Wendy, I can fly!" No words can contain the fury I felt after watching such forced "chemistry."

That DL's dead sucks. Kinda liked him. I guess if they were going to pick one casualty, he was the only cast member that lacked the star power and overall story relevance that they could spare.

I am disappointed in Sylar surviving. Shows a lack of guts and commitment on the show's part. The Heroes go through aaaaaalllllllllllllllll that work to take him down.... only to not have taken him down.

If they don't reveal something significant next episode...... see, I hate shows like this. Dangling answers and pulling them away by the endof the show. Each episode doesn't seem to have its own self contained point of plot, so once it's over there's no resolution or satisfaction. Just the "nyah-nyah" of waiting for the next episode to get the next answer.
