NBA 2010/11 Season Discussion

Trade Wilson Chandler AND Danilo Gaillinari for Carmelo Anthony ASAP

They're 2 inconsistent young forwards, which makes them role players.

Role players can be replaced.........Carmelo Anthonys CANNOT BE REPLACED.

END OF DISCUSSION

Gallo has been playing extremely consistent but trading them to Denver is probably the best idea. Do not give up Fields.

Congrats Ray Allen! The greatest 3 point shooter in NBA history, and he can still knock them down

Knicks owner James Dolan and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov are going to meet with Denver and Carmelo during All-Star Weekend which starts tomorrow.

The Knicks and Nuggets trade is reportedly 65% done. However, It was also reported the Nets and Nuggets had framework for another trade deal...despite the fact Prokhorov's business associates say he is not interested in Melo again.

Ironically, Melo and Amare will be coaching in the Rooking/Sophomore game which includes Landry Fields and Derrick Favors (possible trade pieces)

The bidding War Begins.

I don't see the appeal of going to the Net except that they are moving to Brooklyn, Brook Lopez is amazing but they don't have anyone else who is any good (assuming Devin Harris is in the trade)

I agree. If the Knicks weren't so quiet, stingy, and made/make some moves things would be going a lot smoother.

The Knicks are far from stingy. Take a look what Denver wants:

Felton
Fields
Gallo
Chandler
1st round pick
Eddy Curry (expiring contract)
Mozgov (starting center)

How unreasonable is that?

I don't mind those at all.

Except fields actually, he's a very solid player and will/should get better. I like to see him grow on the Knicks and be more successful with them along with Melo, chauncey and stoudimire.

Plus when I meant by stingy is that they've seemed like they don't really care if Melo comes or not until as of late. I've heard more about the Nets making moves then the Knicks.
