NBA 2010/11 Season Discussion

Not to sound like a dick, but you can't compare the amount of hours and hard work a professional athlete puts into their season to someone in high school...

You do sound like a dick you act like you don't have to work hard with high school football, I'm just saying that they worked hard to lose it all of course your going to feel emotional

Depending on where you live you don't have to work hard to play high school football. I'm not debating that when you do work hard and lose like the Heat do you do get emotional, it's human. But I do enjoy seeing members of the Miami Heat lose...because when they told the world they are going to win 7 titles during their "celebration", they were basically setting themselves up for the world to hate them

I'm more laughing at the fact that they LOST!!!! YESS!!!!!:buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: ....After all their **** talking, chest pounding, predictions, conspiring to form an all star team. Bosh is a goddam drama queen. An obvious crybaby. The dude is obviously the one or one of them who cried after a regular season game. Constantly in need of 'man hugs' and other weird things he always makes reference to in his pre/post game interviews. Nothing wrong with being emotional and/or crying, especially after putting in so much work. But he is a drama queen and a crybaby. Crying after reg season games..... pffftt.

But will it be enough to give them a crack at the playoffs, I wonder?

To put it simply? No. No one knows how good Rubio is, I doubt he's going to be an elite point guard in the NBA...and they need to change those ugly ass jerseys and court

But will it be enough to give them a crack at the playoffs, I wonder?

I think they just might. Rubio's passing is gonna be the key. Not his scoring.

They will take Derrick Williams and right now the Wolves are actively shopping the #2 pick for a center. They have thrown offers at the Lakers for Paul Gasol, Andrew Bogut, JaVale McGee, Chris Kaman.

Players Displeased With Offer From Owners

Billy Hunter and Derek Fisher met with reporters on Wednesday about the latest proposal from the owners.

According to players, the NBA's proposal will cost them $7 billion over the life of a 10-year deal.

"Their demand is gargantuan," said Hunter.

Fisher believes the owners' are actually proposing a 'hard cap' even though it has been labeled as a 'soft cap'. Fisher also expressed the reaction from his fellow players on the offer from the owners.

"They've asked us point-blank why we are even talking," said Fisher.

Despite their displeasure with the current state of the talks, Hunter said that the sides are not at an impasse.

The Lakers offered Lamar Odom to the Timberwolves in exchange for the No. 2 overall pick, according to two sources.

But Minnesota rejected the offer.

The Lakers wanted to use the selection on Derrick Williams.
