Highly overrated.
I've stuck with Naruto since 1999 and watched the fanbase grow into what it is today. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in the anime but I still stick with the manga.
Once Piece > Naruto.

just finished eps 126...damn Gaara rulezz...don't really like him while he's still a badass...but now? my #1 chara....fuckin' rule :buttrock:
guys, can we not talk about the manga in this thread since I personally don't read the manga and I believe some of our friends don't either...so can we stick to the anime talk here? I mean don't post in some spoilers since I believe it'll ruin the excitement for those Naruto fans who don't read the manga...is it possible? thanks for the consideration...just a suggestion tho...

Hells yeah. Gaara proves to be one badass motherfucker after being a total asshole to Rock Lee the first time around. Nice to see. His new outfit just keeps lookin' nicer and nicer the more I see it, too.
The animators are having a nice time with these episodes, too. Though I think they need to take some more artistic liberties, like they did with the Zabuza episodes. The whole part with Naruto was neat, but... meh.

Naruto does rule! Right now I'm up to 126 and waiting for the newest chapter to be translated. My friend and I have actually made 4 Naruto music videos. I'll post them up when I get the chance.

Yeah, I hear all the time the manga's better, but let's keep that discussion out of this thread.

And yeah... I was expecting the girls to come to the rescue. The Return of the Sand was completely and utterly unexpected, had me throwing my hands in the air and shouting, "OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!!!"

Make no mistake... One Piece is defiantely better, no doubt. But that and how many wide spread fans that Naruto has does not take away from the fun and expansive creativity of this anime.
Truely the successor to Dragon Ball Z... especially and unfortunately in how its episodes "Drag On". :disappoin

The manga doesn't have any of the fillers. But off all the filler episodes, the best one was the one dedicated to Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke trying to see what Kakashi-sensei looks like under his mask...
