The Japanese Wikipedia doesn't mention her doing AV, and I trust the Japanese Wikipedia more when it comes to Japanese celebrities. Like I said, because she's a nude model and does softcore movies, she's often lumped in with AV idols, but she's not. I don't know about Weather Girls' origins, but the movie was a cheesy comedy that you can rent at Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn't offer porn.

Precisely. No matter how qualified that person may be as an actor or whatever, the public outcry would be ridiculous. Soccer moms would be screaming about how that person would be corrupting the youth of our nation or something. The Japanese are just like "whatever, it's cool."

I agree. They're in Japan, & like you said, the Japanese don't take offense to this stuff the way that Americans do. I'm American, & I don't take offense to something like it. This isn't like a huge scandal such as with Miley Cyrus in Hollywood we're talking about here, in which she used to be a Disney star before she started acting very similar to one of the girls in "Girls Gone Wild."

Speaking of this issue, apparently that was why some of them in Japanese Media caused quite a stir when Kamen Rider Blade's actor was in gay porn (I learned this from the short manga which detailed the famous KR incidents ranging from Fujioka's bike incident to Takeru Sato's Collapsed Lung.

Apparently, heroic characters can't have a backhistory with porn.

I didn't hear any complaints when we found out that Ryuuranger did porn before Dairanger. same for Go Red and Gao Silver who were former AV actors. Of course, Silver did some topless shots.

Yeah, that's because that's all absolute BS. Ryuuranger was a stunt guy with the Ono Ken Yukai group prior to Dairanger, and Go Red was a minor actor in some dramas before GoGoFive. As for Gao Silver, from what I've read, he only did a movie that had some risque scenes, but that doesn't make it porn, and it doesn't make him an AV actor.
