My thread has malware?

There is another thread for it, Kieth had the Web Wizard look us over and he says we're clean. It might be something with Avast, because some users on here are getting the warning while others are not.

CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE

I am getting rid of Avast! Its just not working for me with all the pop ups on here. I love Avast! but I go on HJU a lot and if it is keep going to be doing this, it needs ta go!

Anybody know another free virus protection that is really good. Don't say AVG, want something new

They are not anymore. But the home page still has it's fair share.

I was on another site where that was the case. The head admin switched out, and the virus warnings disappeared. :\

McAfee's givin the place a green checkmark though. lol

That's odd. Avast gives me a warning on occassion, but otherwise says it's OK--if I use Firefox. Maybe one of the site admins should check with the Avast guys as to why Avast does this? IMHO it's not really a problem, and Avast actually works better than Norton on my system.

But if I use IE8 (Sometimes have to at Internet cafes or other locations), it absolutely refuses to open the Henshinjustice main page, forums--the works. Avast doesn't even factor into it--Internet Explorer just says "No, this is a dangerous page, you can't open it".

This happens even when I'm on my home PC using IE8.

But Firefox lets me in fine.

I don't think it's the virus scanner. It's probably NOT malware, but...

If you're using a public computer, it could be NetNanny software blocking the site (probably because it's a forum), nothing to do with any virus. I bet you'd get the exact same message on a porn site, lol.

I only get it on HJU. It's definitely not on any other site, adult or otherwise. Not to this extent, anyway. I can't even view the main page because Avast shuts blocks it right away. I can browse the forums, but this thread keeps giving me virus warnings.
