My Gran Died...

I'd like to add my condolences, but when you think of her, think of all the good she's brought to the world and that includes yourself.

Personally, I could only hope to have a life as she's had.. children, grand children.... it would be my honor to clock out of this world with such a record.

Her loss is something that should be properly mourned, but you do her even greater honor by continuing to live and live every gorram second to its best and to its fullest, man.

That's what she'd want and you make her time on Earth that much more worth it by doing so.

Thanks for your kind condolences, Keith... I guess you have a point there in that she wouldn't want me to be sad at her loss... I know it's not going to be easy getting used to coming home every day for a long time to a place that's practically empty except for my dog; Jed but I'll just have to do my best and hope that things work out for the best for me one day...

I just find it deliciously ironic that I said at the beginning of the year that this year was going to be my best year and already I've suffered my greatest loss yet...

All I can do now is try and be a better person both for myself and my gran...

My condolances to you and your family, just know she's in a better place right now

I can only imagine what losing a family member would be like, though my grandparents are old (my grandfather approaching 90 and my grandmother approaching 80). At any rate, my sentiments echo Keith's when I say that you should let this be one more reason why you should live your life to the fullest. I will say that I hope God helps you through what has to be a rough time, and yeah--be strong like a true Toku hero. In the name of Justice. ;)

I'm jumping off a bridge my granny died. this is my last grandparent alive. I go to see her this summer for my aunt's wedding. Sorry borgman, but maybe YOU kinda knew already while you were talking to them the past week. Or they werent returning calls or acting funny when you asked bout her.

I think you'd do her spirit and soul a supreme honor by still making this your best year. She'd understand your sadness and you're MORE than right to feel it, man. :disappoin

But she's blessed the world with the life you have. Make that blessing count.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss... I hope that he's in a better place like my grandmother hopefully is in...

I've also had to put going back to college on hold till the week after next as my Mom's hired a skip to get rid of stuff from the end bedroom and the shed and because there's a lot of stuff of mine in both places, I'll have to sort out today, tomorrow and Monday what to get rid and what to keep...

On another note, I've since received some sympathy cards including one from a local councilor and his wife who've known the family for years...

KRZ sorry to here about that. I just don't like deaths so early or very late into a new year.
