The unique visual styles of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" are definitely standout examples of pushing animation boundaries. While I appreciate the inventive techniques in "Spider-Verse," I've found that some of its frenetic pacing can overshadow the beautiful visuals at times. On the other hand, Kaguya's watercolor aesthetic and fluid animation tell such an emotionally resonant story that it completely captivates me from start to finish.
