Movies like The Stepfather (the remake) and After/Life make me hate the Horror genre due to stupid characters.

Ya know? I think the new Wendy's natural cut fries are fuckin horrible? That's it -- I give up on fast food restaurants, in fact any establishment that sells fries or burgers. They can all burn to the ground for all I care.

Well, your opinion is wrong. It's as clear as the nose on your face. Can't you fuckin see it? Some people. I just don't get you. So fuckin stupid. I hope they get rid of them, better yet I hope this whole fiasco closes all of the Wendy's around the country and people like you don't get what you want. Cause I said so.

Honestly, I do agree that the whole torture-porn genre of movies is getting driven into the ground recently ( but there are some that I can appreciate, like the first Saw and the Guinea Pig series. ) I don't really want them to bring down the hammer too hard -- I'm all for creative freedom and that sorta thing -- but if it means we'll get more creative horror films that don't rely on cheap gore for shock value then that's cool too.

sidenote: regarding kids in the theatre for R-rated movies, I remember going to see Watchmen and some dad brought in his 10-year-old son and his friend. Thaaat must've made for an awkward dinner conversation when they left, hahah.

I watched a documentary about the MPAA. They arbitrarily give things ratings with out even watching the movies sometimes. I think the MPAA is a joke.

Then the kids shouldn't be allowed in. Moves rated are say "17 and over only unless parent or guardian is with them."

Well that is screwed up! Mind you I haven't seen a good horror film in years & sorry I'm just not a fan of the saw series but then again the movie studios haven't released a decent horror film in ages.

Saw (the first) was actually a really good, well-written, psychological drama. Just the nature of the "dilemmas" were of an extreme nature. Saw II wasn't bad , but it was atypical fodder of an obvious attempt to capitalize on the 1st one's success. I haven't bothered with the others.
