Robin Shou was great as Liu Kang, they only problem was his performance in the fights, which wasn't bad, but he's been away from HK too long, it was kind of disappointing considering what he could do. That being said:

As long as Robin Shou is Lui Kang, Christopher Lambert is Raiden, Chris Casamasa as Scorpion, and Linden Ashby as Johny Cage, Im cool.

If there is one person I would like to see in this movie, it would probably be Donald Faison (Turk from Scrubs) as Jax. If you have seen the Kung Fu Fighting Scene in Scrubs, he could probably pull it off pretty well.
