Kyle finally saw the perfect gift to give to his beloved Alia. It was a Desert Eagle , which was in perfect condition and looked like it had never been used. That's it! "Hey, what do you want for that?!" Kyle shouted towards the shop owner, pointing at what he wanted to buy. "This? What do ya got, kid?" Kyle had expected this and didn't want to use the crew's shared money for himself so he brought out his trump card. He pulled a silver ring with a ruby in the middle of it from his pocket and placed it on the counter. This ring had been a keepsake given to him from his father before he left for space all those years ago.
"I can say that this ring is pure silver, mister." The man picked it up and studied it closely, checking to see if Kyle's claim ran true. After what felt like the longest few seconds of Kyle's life, the shop owner smiled. "Guess you're not cheating me after all, kid. Here." The shop owner took the handgun from it's spot where it was being displayed and gave it to Kyle, who put it under his cloak. "Thanks, mister." Walking away from the stand, Kyle started to think of something else. Next, I'll head to the fruit stands. I'll make something nice for Alia, then- The sound of a nearby explosion brought him out of his love daze. Looking over his shoulder, he could see a rising plume of smoke in the distance. Damn, why now?! I better head back to the Falcon and see if Vayn wants us to sortie or just get outta here. Kyle muttered to himself, heading quickly back to the landship.
