Also, Kai was a cheap knockoff while Origins seems to be a full blown reboot of the 1979 classic.
However they need to kill the UC off. Continue anew and actually do something new for a change than do the same sotryline so many times. People get tired of the same thing trust me , or are they just a bunch of mindless zombies ? I don't think so.
They should just cut what budget they are wasting on Origins and put it towards AGE. It might be a good series, but nonetheless I'm not sure if it offers anything new. That is why I liked the AU Gundams over the UC. It's different every time. If OProgins is a massive change from 0079, I'll be happy. With how old the fottage is , I can't see how the footage could be used in the first place and why would they? Why even waste animating new footage if you're gonna half ass it with older ones? I'd rather have a full blown original film done in modern animation practices than compilation films unless the newer animation is done in the exact same style and look of the original.
Now when will they get on making a seventh Star Wars? LOL.

They are about as bad if not worse . I'm afraid they'll turn some of these classics into high school rape fests like Dancougar NOVA and be nothing like the original. It's like they are all Japanese clones of M. Night Shyamalan.
Well at least it isn't the SAME story exactly. America is horrible at that thing of shitting the same story mutliple times with no twists or changes look at the horrible attempts to remake Asian horror films. Though I liked the American Grudge film over the Japanese one because of Sarah Michelle Gellar's awesomeness. It's so similar the original bored me to tears.
I don't want America to touch The Host , period. You just don't **** with a great kaiju film , that's all. I don't want another HINO where it lays little Justin Bieberwho roller skates with swarming bubbles of kittens meowing and purring cutely to the sound of Hikaru Utada's voice while she sings to a tiny giraffe whose owner is a Bald Russian KGB.
