Mayfil, one of the numerous slum like colonies in which the lower class had been herded into when Olympus gained power, and in terms of quality it was barely livable, even worse then the third world countries back on Earth the now abandoned homeland of humanity. This was quite literally the scummiest and most poorly built colony of them all with chunks of itself regularly falling off and being hastily and shoddily repaired due to lack of resources and proper equipment. Chances are it was a only a matter of time before it just fell apart while the higher class citizens continued to live in the luxurious settings of the upper colonies just laughing their lives away at the expense of those below them. Such was the state of society ever since Olympus took over, those who werent lucky enough to be born into high society lived in these desolate colonies doing manual labor to just barely make a living.

It was here in the desolate colony of Mayfil that the Young blood's,the only known resistance to Olympus, had secretly based itself and it's prized treasures, the Gundams which were stolen from Olympus. These mobile suits originally meant to lead their armies as well as serve as a symbol of power for Olympus, were now the only things that challenged Olympus and were piloted by the only people that had the guts to stand against them.

In District 7 of Mayfil's central sector in a local bar/restaurant/strip club/a bunch of other **** crammed into one known as StarDust, Leon Zeronix, a person known to the locals as an unlucky bastard who blew into town one day and known to his comrades in the Young bloods as their leader, sat alone away from the usual drunken patrons of the establishment who were enthralled with a news broadcast detailing the latest attack by the Gundams on the upper colonies. In the old world someone his age wouldnt even be allowed to enter an establishment like this but here in Mayfil it didnt matter that much anymore since everyone seemed equally miserable, but unlike most he wasnt their to just get wasted and eventually pass out, no, he was there to meet up with his usual informant who was bringing him very valuable information regarding a new Olympus battleship.

"Come on where are they, I know they tend to take a while but this is ridiculous...." Leon muttered to himself as he turned his attention back to the news broadcast in order to admire his handiwork from the last attack.

Illumines, an Olympus Mobile suit training outpost, this outpost is one of the many that is out there to train new pilots. This outpost was different from the others because over at Illumines is where they train the conscript pilots from the colonies that has now come under the empire control. Many of the conscript soldiers are just colonist from the lower colony who needed jobs and or was forced to join. This floating outpost was located near by the Space fortress Aurora, Known in Olympus as the Citadel of light. The Citadel of light was know to be one of Olympus’s strongest strongholds is this because of the fact that the fortress serve as a defense line to the four colonies nearby Rose, Orchid, Iris and Lily.

Nearby Colony Iris a group of new pilots train in the darkness of space. The only light came from the big colony that is Kilometers away. Three Barbarians painted in tan meaning trainer colors headed into a field of debris.

“Let’s try to catch the major off guard, we can do it using this formation†Jake said to his two wing mates sending in the data to the formation.

The Barbarian flew into the debris unaware of there surroundings. “We got you major!†Jake yelled out and fired his paint rounds into the pile of debris in front of him.

“Amateur…†Pat said under his breath suddenly a tan colored barbarians came out from the smoke lit up by the Gladiator’s paint rounds. A short saber cut out Jake’s Gladiator’s paint gun out of its hands. Then it grabbed the stunned unit and used it as a shield Jake’s wing mates opened fired on the C only to find that they have painted there wing leaders Gladiator in bright red and green.

“Pfft looks like a freaking X mas ornament†Pat said and then lit up the other two with his own blue paint rounds. “There exercise is over, you all failed. Write me a report to why and have it submitted by tomorrow morning. I can’t believe they send me here to train a bunch of losers. If this was a real combat situation you’ll all be dead†Pat finished and the screens went blank. The training simulations has ended and Pat was in as bad of a mood as he can ever be. Jake exited the simulator with his team and gave pat a glare, Pat did not care and stared back coldly “damn lower classed colonist, cant they train them right any more†Pat said aggressively and then walked away.

“What kind of instructor is that guy, thinks he’s all high and mighty†said Alice one of Jake’s wing mate.
“I don’t know… he’s a veteran from the invasion and he’s probably just bummed out for having to do all of this training duty†Jake replied
“I wish Lieutenant Tatsuki was here, at least he would have taught us something†Alice said proudly.

Pat stopped in his tracks and gritted his teeth, if there was anything that annoyed him it was the fact that a colonist became an officer recently and it had to be Tatsuki Kaisen. Just the mention of the name irritates him.

Meanwhile on Mayfil, a girl dressed in a dark blue pea coat walked into a bar called Stardust. She had a scarf over her mouth and big shield sunglasses over her eyes. She stopped at a table where no one else sat but a young man and a couple of liquor bottles.

“Are you…the one theycall 176…. I’m..Jiiya†She said tucking down her glasses to see his face and to reveal her eyes.

Colony Orchid. Inside this space colony resides one of the many Alouet Manors, and Princess Nicole Alouet is currently staying there. Since she is a noble, and a high ranking one at that, her manor has it's own contingent of mobile suits. This isn't uncommon as many of the noble families had started having their own mobile suits since the Young Bloods started their attacks. This manor, however, was fielding the older Barbarian models, which at this point were going obsolete. In the spaceport of the colony a Olympus ship had docked for some time and was preparing to unload some Gladiator model Mobile Suits.

Overseeing this was a young woman with long red hair and she began to tell her orders to who appeared to be the lead mechanic. "These mobile suits are due to be transferred to the Alouet Manor. They are to replace those old Barbarian models, so I want to make sure all the Gladiators are in tip-top shape. Is that Understood?" She finished warmly. The lead mechanic nodded, and began to give the same orders to his colleagues. Shortly thereafter, a soldier approached the young woman with some news. "Ensign Akemi, I just received word that Lieutenant Tatsuki is supposed to arrive in port in a few hours." The woman -- Akemi Oshiro -- looked a bit surprised at first, but discarded that with a smile. "Well, looks like we'll just have to make sure everything is in order, right?" After that she dismissed the soldier and watched as the mechanics began check-ups on one of the Gladiators. Lieutenant...I haven't seen you since I passed my final test to join Hades Division...I wonder how you're doing?

Meanwhile, at a television studio, a beautiful young woman was preparing for a photo shoot in her dressing room. She seemed nervous, yet she had a regal air about her. In fact, she was Princess Nicole Alouet herself, and in a few hours, she would be meeting her finance for the first time in a couple of hours, and she was a bit nervous about it. We've been keeping in contact through other means like E-mail, Instant Messaging, even old-fashioned letters...but this will be it. We'll finally meet each other...Tatsuki... She would be interrupted by a knock at her door. "Your Highness, we are ready to begin." Nicole got up from her chair and walked to the door, discarding her earlier nervous feelings. "I just have to be patient a little longer..."

Colony Rose is the main home and base of the Alouet family as well as the Qiu Conglomerate, which provides standard and MS-size arms to the Olympus military. Like many noble families, the Qiu had their own mansions and this was where the daughter of the head of the Conglomerate, Suyin Qiu, was at presently. Dressed in her usual black Chinese dress with green trim, which was in contrast to the western style of the mansion, Suyin was sitting in a chair in the mansion's study, nothing else to do, with a book in her hand.

"Hmm...today is the day of the operation...better watch the news coverage for material for the audio broadcast...and also to see that oh so mighty Olympian military get blindsided...heh heh..." Whispering this to herself, Suyin put up the book she was reading and got up from her chair, a slight smirk on her face as she continued to her room...

Meanwhile, in another part of Mayfil, a young woman with chestnut-brown hair and blue eyes that glistened like diamonds, sat in a rickety shack of a restaurant, eating a bowl of nondescript white colored slop of pudding-like consistency. However, the young woman lapped it up happily for some reason one may not be able to explain. After a while, a scruffy, heavyset middle-aged man wearing a stained white apron, approached her, wiping his hands on an equally stained white dish towel.

"Ya must really like White Sludge don'tcha, Kari?" the middle-aged man, probably the restaurant's proprietor, chuckled. Kari looked up upon hearing the proprietor's joke, and smiled. While she normally did not like people calling her by name -- for security reasons, obviously -- she knew the restaurant owner long enough to allow him to call her by name. "Well, while I do admit it's pretty delicious, it's not like I eat it because I like it. I eat it because it's the only thing available around these parts," Kari told the proprietor, taking in another spoonful of the restaurant's specialty "White Sludge". The proprietor merely smiled at her as he began to head back to the kitchen to serve other "customers", which were mostly beneficiaries of free meals ever since Olympus exercised their military might on the lower class citizens.

As Akemi Oshiro went about her duties, a certain young man could not help but take interest in the expression that crossed her face upon the mention of a certain Mr. Tatsuki. Niko Faustin had been out on a drive that day (it’s not that he wouldn’t walk, but he didn’t feel like risking running into any adoring fans today), and had just been about to go home when he saw the lovely red-head on the space-port grounds. Niko climbed out and tugged the lapels of his gold jacket to straighten it, then proceeded towards the girl.

“Dobriy den, Ms. Akemi,†he greeted in his native Russian, standing right behind her. “Pining for the good lieutenant, are we? I don’t know if I should be hurt or take it as a challenge. After all, you’re well aware I can’t simply give up a little princess like yourself, da?â€

Niko smiled warmly at her. He stood a little taller than her, not enough that he had to look right down mind you, but it was noticeable. It was strange to look at him sometimes – that beautiful outfit he wore, yet his hair was wild, like a caveman’s. His excuse was always that it felt right to him.

"The one and only." he told her. 176, the model number of the Liberty Gundam and the name that the Olympus government used to refer to him since they didnt know his name or even what he looked like, the only ones who had known his name and face were his comrades and his informants. "So you got the files I requested?" he asked before she handed him a folder of sorts which he quickly skimmed through. "This is some useful stuff here, ill have my guys deliver your payment soon, hope you wont mind if its a little late, money is tight in this neck of the woods." he said as he stood up and made his way to the exit.

After a while of walking Leon found himself on the outskirts of town and took a flare gun from his pocket and aimed upwards before firing off a flare which exploded into a brilliant blue light, with electronics being monitored by Olympus these days Leon needed other ways to communicate with his comrades over long distances, and this was one of those methods and this particular color of flare signaled to his comrades to meet back at their hideout which was hidden in a junkyard on the outskirts of Mayfil's central sector.

Upon hearing Niko's voice, Akemi turned around, a bit of nervous look on her face. Eh heh, that's right...Niko is fascinated with me...I don't want to upset him, but... "He was one of my instructors when I was applying for Hades divison, Niko...I just haven't seen him since then is all."

Replying Niko's smile with one of her own, albeit a nervous one, the red haired girl began to speak again. "If you will excuse me, I have to ask permission if I can have a break from my duties...I will be back, d-don't worry, Niko, heh..."

With that, she bid Niko farewell and proceeded to find the superior officer that was currently overseeing operations at the port. Niko...sorry...I don't mind your company, but this is a rare opportunity for me...I hope you understand...I do consider you as a friend, after all...

Niko chuckled under his breath, finding it hilarious that someone could be excited over a mere instructor. Personally, he often hoped never to see his old instructors again, because that was what they were – old, trying to teach him their way, he had learned many of his own techniques on his own. True, they gave him ideas to develop from, but that was all they were good for. No, he believed little Akemi had more in mind than just ‘seeing an old instructor,’ and the idea tasted sweet on his tongue. No wine was finer than life’s experiences. He was the Mindbender, one of the most feared men in the squad, possibly in Olympus, because he could break psyches like a child breaks a twig. That was always fun. Nobody dared suggest that these activities had made Niko just a touch insane, because maybe he would strike back, destroy them from within. Calmly, he blew a kiss at Akemi’s retreating form and twirled about on his heels to face the other way.

“I will see you again soon, angel moy,†he tittered.

176 was always quick to take the information with out asking too many questions. She didn’t care too much about the payments, once she gets it she always just donate it to foundations that exist to feed the poor. Making sure that there was still something for them to eat and hope for, at the very least. She was a bit reluctant about giving out the data this time because of the location to where the item was located. It was very near her beloved master’s home.

“I wonder how she is doing… she seem a bit nervous and yet excited before I left… then again she’ll finally get the chance to meet him†Jiiya said with a sad face “it’s kind of tragic for those two people fate…especially his…â€White Knightâ€

She came out of the bar and looked up to see the bright blue flare. She also knew that the young bloods were quick to react.

“No matter the risk…they are willing to take it; I wonder how many died to acquire those Olympian war machines…. In the end is it all worth it…†Jiiya said as she walked the colony to get to there meeting point. She then spots a very beautiful girl still near a beat up restaurant eating some vile looking food. “…in the end it is all worth it†She gave a skeptical look. She looks so familiar as if it was someone whom she had served in her younger years. She went up to the girl and then revealed her face and asked her “Hello miss… have I met you before?â€

Meanwhile at Colony Orchid Space port, The Olympus Hades division ship Stiletto docks for maintenance. A young man in a grey uniform exits the ship, to be saluted by the mechanics. “Hello Lieutenant welcome to Orchid†the mechanic said in a friendly way. This Lieutenant in a way was an idol to the people, the first conscript soldier to be raised to and officer rank. Tatsuki saluted back and smiled. A lot was on his mind today because today was a very important day. He notices a new ship within the port but didn't pay to much attention, it still had some covers over it meaning it's under construction and possibly secret. “Excuse me chief how do I get to the main street and possibly a flower shop?†Tatsuki asks the chief.

“Ohh great you asked my niece runs a flower shop down there, here take this business card and just follow the direction on the ….†The chief was then interrupted by a man in a tuxedo giving a bow to Tatsuki. “Lieutenant…. A car is waiting for you out side to take you to the Alouet Manor†The man said and pointed towards the terminal.

Tatsuki ignore the man for a bit and went back to giving his attention towards the Chief.

“Thank you Sir, I’ll gladly visit your niece’s shop†He said as he handed the man the business card “We need to make a small visit†Tatsuki asked the man who gladly accepted his request. “This way sir†the man said as he opened the door to an expensive black luxury sedan. As he walks out to the car he see how wealthy the colony Orchid is compared to Rose where he is from Orchid is a noble’s heaven. Tatsuki has a sad look on his face because he realizes that they are other less fortunate colonies out there. He stood still for a moment stomping his boots, and then smiled at the man. “ thank you for your kindness and the kindness of her royal majesty, but if it is alright I would like to walk to the manor and take in the sights, if I remember correctly I am hours early, her highness isn’teven expecting me†Tatsuki said and put on his officer cap and walked away towards the main street which wasn’t too far away.

(OOC: Zaku gave me permission to control Tatsuki here.)

Akemi got permission to go ahead and take a break from overlooking the maintenance of the Gladiators and she was enjoying her time as she walked down Main Street, even though her run in with Niko earlier had shook her up slighty. "Ahh...it's nice to get away from that spaceport for a little bit. Now what can I do with my time off..." As she was contemplating this, Akemi accidentally bumped into someone and immediately apologized for it by bowing her head.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I should have watched where I was going..." Even if she was of noble descent and she could have easily passed bumping into the person as nothing, her mother told her to be always polite to people, even those beneath them. The person, however just stood there for a few seconds before speaking. "Akemi? Is that you?" The red haired woman looked up and recognized who the person was. "Lieutenant Tatsuki! Oh, I'm sorry for bumping into you. Um, I haven't seen you in a while...how have you been?" Tatsuki just chuckled a little. "No reason to be so formal now. You're off duty, right? I'm doing good, by the way." Akemi nodded. "Yes...but I have to get back soon...what brings you to Orchid?"

Tatsuki brought out a card and handed it to her. "I'm looking for that flowershop so I can pick up some flowers for someone." Akemi looked it over and made a suggestion. I might only get this chance to be around him for a while...better take it. "Mind if I lead you there? I can help you pick out some for this person..." Tatsuki again chuckled a little. "Go ahead. We haven't seen each other in a while, so why not." Akemi smiled and then turned around. "Ok, follow me then." Tatsuki did and in a short while, they had made it to the flowershop and they both started looking around for flowers.

Meanwhile, Nicole had just finished her photo shoot and was praised by the people there. "Great job, your highness! You looked stunning!" Nicole smiled and nodded as she started her way back to her dressing room to change and then head back to manor. It's getting so close now...I mustn't get nervous around him...he shouldn't see his fiance shaking like a leaf on their first meeting. Going to her dressing room, it didn't take long for her to change and then head outside, where a car was waiting to take her back to the manor. Entering the vehicle, it soon left the studio, taking Nicole back to the manor, where she would wait for her fiance to arrive...
