So that's how I know him so well! Yeah, Robin was one of my favorite reads on his run.

Damn... That sucks. My first experience with his art is when he took over pencils on The Flash years ago. He was constantly improving his game. RIP.

He was a fine artist, a fine gentelmen, and a hell of a nice guy. He did work that is loved, to his Flash run to his Fantastic Four run. He had an amazing style that was so simple and yet so elegant. He worked with some of the greats and did an amazing job. He will be remembered as a great artist and one of the nicest people ever to work in comics. Let his death help us remember all his fine years of work and joy he brought to the page. Rest in peace you were truely one of the greats.

This just breaks my heart.

Mike did "cartoony" artstyle at a time when it was really not in favor to do so. His work always had so much heart. It was only a month or two ago that I found his DA page and blog. I was hoping he would be tapped once again for Spider-Man so he would finally have a chance to do the character in more classic styled stories. I also wanted to see more Tellos.

Thank you Mike, for showing the light of your spirit through your pencil and the page.
