Masked Rider Gaia

Authors notes: This is a Kamen Rider/Masked Rider fanfic I have been writing, re-writing, planning, changing, etc and whatnot ever since the days of JHA... This fanfic happens in the universe of a Masked Rider fanfic of a friend of mine.

Also this fic, while so far only 2 episodes long, contains some strong language (basically cussing and such, blame it on me having watched too much The Osbournes a few years ago heh); Episode 2 however contains mentioning of a Rider from a fanfic of a friend of mine, to which I decided to pay him back by including said Rider in this fic (it helped a lot that both characters are one and the same).

Okay, now I am babbling lol... Onwards with the fic! Enjoy reading it ^_^ and if you review, c&c is more then welcome

The year is 2009...

A well hidden, underground laboratory just underneath the regular basement floor of Priche HQ; where scientists of all ages and both genders are busy installing software on their hardware while at the same time monitoring the status changes of “Project Multiple”.

In a corner, where the lights are turned off; a pair of violet bug shaped lights can be seen alight, along with white neon light lining traveling down on a rather grayish looking armor placed on a black suit together with a white scarf.

“Project Multiple, aka Codenamed Gaia...” a scientist speaks into a microphone behind one of the controls against the armored being in the corner,

“...Are you ready for the next level..?” the same scientist asks as the armored being, codenamed Gaia, slowly nods; the many scientists each look at one another as they also nod before typing down the commands on the consoles, watching with sole interest as the readings of Gaia slowly start to build up.

Just then, a man dressed in a business suit walks into the room to watch the upgrading happen,

“Tell me...” he addresses one of the main scientists behind the project, a glee yet stern look on his face,

“...How is our prototype Rider holding out..?”
“So far, so good mister Ping Hui sir...” the main scientist, an elderly man nearing the age of 80 or 90 yet looking no older then 60 or 70 with pearl white strands running through his slickly combed black hair and glasses in front of his eyes along with a red scarf wrapped around his neck, answers the man in suit,

“...So far the nano-bot system is handling the new flow of energy perfectly”
“Excellent... Crank it up” Ping Hui demanded, much to the shock of the main scientist who looks at him with big eyes,

“...But sir, if we do it hastily, then we will overload the system... Gaia is still a human being and...”
“Silence! I do not care, I want Project Multiple online and ready for combat against those outdated Riders and those GERMS by tomorrow!” Ping Hui demanded, his eyes glaring with icy venom and anger; however the old guy stands up in defiance to him,

“I will not crank up the energy flow, sir... You will have to kill me first before killing that poor young man!”
“...So be it...” Ping Hui answers with a dark smirk on his face, as a loud bang echoes through the room and the old scientist looks in panic before his body starts shaking.

Staggering, he takes a few steps back before seeing the bullet hole straight through his left chest. Time seems to be standing still as everyone looks at the scientist and their boss,

“...I don’t take lightly to defiance... Don’t forget that it was my corporation which dug your body out of the grave... Mister Peter Dijkhuizen” Ping Hui says, calm yet deadly, as he pulls the trigger a second time with the bullet going through the old guy’s head.

A last gasp is all what the scientist releases before collapsing to the floor, dead with the blood oozing out of the 2 bullet holes; the armored warrior looks at the dead body as the name triggered something within him.

“...G... Grandfather..?” the armored warrior asks himself in a whisper; unaware of Ping Hui aiming the gun at the remaining scientists while anger is slowly building up throughout his newly constructed system,

“Okay... Now... Crank up the transfer or else join him!” Ping Hui shouts threatening, as all the remaining scientists’ starts to type in the control commands on their control panels, accelerating the energy flow into Gaia; the readings growing quicker and quicker by the second.

“Yes... Yes... Yes...” Ping Hui gloats as the readings rises, unaware of sudden cracks of lightning dancing up and around the armored warrior,

“No... No... No... NOOOOO!” Gaia suddenly screams it out in pain as the nano-bots inside of him slowly becomes damaged by the sudden strain of energy.

The lights above their heads starts to flicker and snap violently as Gaia clutches his helmet with his hands, dropping down onto his knees while his screams of pain and rage continues to echo throughout the place.

The monitors on the controls as well start to flash a dangerous red as the system starts to overload,

“...What is going on!?”
“Sir... It is his system, it is overloading and feeding off of him and gaaah!” one of the scientists suddenly screams it out in pain as a gloved hand is wrapped around his throat, only to get pressed shut with blood spurting out before falling dead to the ground.

Eyes in shock; Ping Hui and the others present in the room look in dead horror at a completely black colored warrior with orange neon lining on his armor and menacing red eyes staring at them; it slowly removes the shredded scarf from his neck before kneeling at the body of the murdered old scientist. It’s body language telling that he is in a state of shock and sadness.

“...Grandfather..?” Gaia whispers as he slowly lifts the body and hugs it close against his armored form, leaving stains of blood on him who gets absorbed; he gently removes the scarf from the dead scientist before wrapping it around his own neck and stands up. The bug eyes on his helmet lighting up a second time in a grayish color as he glares at the murderer, only to scream it out in rage and pain with the orange lining multiplying and changing into a dark grayish color while his armor takes on a more horned, demonic look before charging in for the kill.

“...Don’t just stand there... KILL IT!” Ping Hui demands only to duck quickly from a slicing arm, as it cuts through the controls with ease, like a knife cutting through butter.

One of the scientists looks with fear in her eyes as she draws out a gun and takes aim, firing off a bullet which ricochets right off of Gaia’s armor; the latter glares at the woman over his shoulder as it unleashes a terrible, frightening howl before charging at the woman and slamming his leg through the woman’s waist in a round house kick, literally decapitating the young scientist from the waist up.

“...Impossible... What IS that thing!?”
“That sir... Is your Masked Rider... We have made his armor to be like blades, especially the arms and legs” another scientist answers his boss who in shock looks at how the blood gets absorbed into the armor; Gaia slowly and menacingly turns around as it roars in complete bloodlust as he charges into the attack, smashing his right leg into the gut of another scientist who is foolish enough to stand in his way only to jump and slice his left leg through said scientist!

Glaring, roaring in rage, Gaia marches forward slowly to the murderer; his hands balled up into fists as from the lines of his arm gauntlets energy blades spring forward, slicing wildly around him as many more scientists falls to the ground, screaming in pain as arms are getting sliced off with ease.

Slowly Ping Hui backs away from his own creation, who is slowly coming closer and closer to him while leaving dead bodies in his wake; Gaia suddenly shoots out his left hand and wraps it around Ping Hui’s throat while bringing his right fist back, a low growl emitting from behind the helmet,

“Gaia’s... Chaos...” Gaia says threatening as he bring his fist back and smashes it forward, only to stop at a mere inch in front of Ping Hui’s face and letting go of his throat; his body trembling and shaking as Gaia staggers back and looks at his hands only to grab hold of his helmet and drops down on his knees, screaming it out in pain as electricity dances all over his body like crazy.

At that exact moment, the security and higher OPS of PRICHE comes marching in with specially built shotguns; each one dressed in blackish blue with sunglasses and caps along with the logo of PRICHE embedded on the right breast pockets, they all take aim,

“DRIVE IT BACK!” Ping Hui demands as his special unit nods and opens fire on Gaia, the bullets hitting and shocking the masked rider as it gets driven back to an open capsule in the corner; once entering, one of the remaining scientists presses a button as the glass capsule closes and fluid enters the chamber rapidly, trapping the struggling rider and forcing it into suspended animation.

“You alright sir..?” one of the OPS asks his boss, who nods a bit shakingly, as said OPS helps Ping Hui back up on his feet; the latter glares at the Rider trapped in the liquid filled capsule, forced to rest,

“...Dispose of that... Failure...”
“Sir, wait..!” 1 of the surviving scientists calls out to Ping Hui while cautiously stepping over the dead bodies of his colleagues; his silverish hair short and neat upon coming face to face with the president,

“What do you want, Dr. N..?”
“Sir... With your permission, I want to try and stabilize Gaia’s nano-bots sir”
“Hmmm...” Ping Hui answers as his thoughts starts to progress through the thick clouds, would it be worth the money, or should he just terminate the project and start anew.

Minutes turns into hours as time seems to pass before Ping Hui shakes his head in annoyance, he looks at the old scientist,

“Very well... But I am only giving you 1 Month... If you fail, then it is lights out for this project!” with that, Ping Hui turns around on his heels and walks out of the place with his own special OPS following suit.

Sighing a relieve, Dr. N looks behind him to the capsule with the trapped Rider inside as he cautiously makes his way over to him; his hand slowly touching the glass as he looks through the glass,

“Do not worry young man, I will do all that I can to fix your problems, and restore what needs to be restored of your memories so that you can live in peace”

Looking down, he sighs again before looking at the dead body of his colleague and friend Peter Dijkhuizen,

“...And I will continue my work to find the evidence I need to get that bastard send up the river, this I promise to you both...”

Slowly he makes his way out of the room, filled with the carnage and smell of the death that hangs in the air; shaking his head slowly in the hopes that the lost souls will make their way to Heaven, even if he isn’t that religious.

His hand reaches to the light switch as he casts a last look at the place before turning the lights off, intending to try and fix the fatal flaw in the nano-bots caused by Ping Hui’s carelessness as the lights are turned off and leaves the room; not knowing of the gray eyes of Gaia lightening up and a red drop of blood slipping past where the eye and helmet connects...

====

Years have passed ever since that day, and the world is still crumbling in decay.

People everywhere struggle desperately to survive in a world where the skies are blood red, and deceases rules the places; but each day it is also a constant battle for survival against a group of rogue creatures long thought to be destroyed, but having survived the battles of the Riders long ago.

The one place in the entire world where things are far more worser is Singapore, the place where it all started and where it all ended.

What was once a community of welfare and beauty; now lays the destruction and dead of buildings and those who didn’t survive the day of reckoning.

Many has perished on that dreadful day, with those who survived are now on the run; hiding in exposed bunkers and struggling to survive in a strange world, now plagued by creatures and man made monsters from a time the place had protectors.

But they are long gone, and in their place has risen a new evil; a group who calls themselves The Horsemen. Each glad in a much darker colored armor that resembles the armor worn by the 4 saviors.

Each of them holds command over the monsters, Unknown, GERMS and a new race of mechanical beasts called Prichers; they all have but one goal, to hunt, track down the survivors, eliminate the weak and secure the strong for experiments and for creating the perfect race.

However, each bunker has its own defenses...

“Come on, hurry!” one of the people guarding the underground bunkers shouts loudly at a family on the run from a group of half human, half mechanical beasts; the youngest of the family suddenly trips over a small stone in the sand as it let’s go of the father’s hand, tumbling over the ground a bit before crying out in pain and in fear as the machined freaks come in closer,

“Jun-Lé!” the mother screams as she tries to let go of her husband’s tight grip to save their young daughter, but gets dragged along in order to reach the entrance to the save haven,

“Come on ma’am, there is no time!”
“But... But my baby! Please save my baby!” the mother pleads to the soldier who looks in concern to the desperate looking family before running out, aiming his MP5-K at the targets upon unleashing a storm of metal, taking caution to aim at the weakness of the things, the human flesh.

Each bullet, specially modified during the arrival of the Child Lords, hits the Prichers with deadly accuracy as each of them scream it out in pain and backs off; giving the soldier the much needed time to make the dash, he picks up the girl quickly and runs back to the entrance just as the Prichers slowly start to regain their bearings.

Hissing or howling out loudly, the beasts makes a run after the soldier who desperately tries to get the young girl to safety; but sadly the wolf styled Pricher shoots out it’s left mechanical claw, the metal piercing through the armor and skin of the soldier who cries it out in pain and drops the girl to the ground with him falling down as well,

“...Mis... Mister..?”
“Go... RUUN!” the soldier cries it out in pain as the girl, with tears in her eyes, makes the run to the entrance where her parents are waiting for her; the soldier gets dragged closer to the beasts as they all attack him like hungry savages, tearing off armor and clothes and pieces of skin while at the same time the girl runs into her mother’s arms,

“Jun-Lé...”
“Mommy... Daddy... I’m scared” the girl sobs as her parents holds her close against them, all the while a second soldier presses some buttons for the doors to close and the elevator travels down the ground; the father looks at the soldier,

“I am sorry sir, but he is a goner” the soldier simply answers the man, as if being able to read his mind while having noticed the scar on the guy’s neck; he knows that the father is not able to talk and yet the soldier knew what he wanted to ask.

Outside of the bunker, the young soldier continues to scream in pain while desperately shooting his weapon at them till it makes a clicking sound.

“Ohh... FUUUCK!” he shouts it out in pain as his right arm gets torn off by the jaws of a cheetah like Pricher, the blood spurting out like crazy with his screaming echoing through the air. The third Pricher, a scorpion looking one, reveals a sickening smile on it’s half human face upon swinging a mechanized tail down the screaming soldier’s mouth, injecting a paralyzing venom into his system as within seconds the soldier goes limb and the bleeding slowly stops upon getting dragged away from the place.

As all the while being monitored by a bright, red bug eye from up high; as a dark, bug like shadow watches before walking away from the place, following the group of Prichers to their lair...
====

A long, cold and damp hallway, seemingly stretches on into the infinity of darkness; as on the walls many large incubation tubes lay filled with the shredded bodies of humans, being kept alive but barely by the strange liquid they float in, as in some of the tubes mechanical arms are hard at work adding animal like, mechanical limbs.

A dark shadow, with an eye of a bright red with cracks running through it can be seen walking through the hallway followed closely by the group of Prichers who are seen dragging the shredded remains of the soldier early on; they stop in front of an empty tube as the dark shadow turns around, its armor partly revealing in the dim light as it reveals a blackish color.

“Cast him in!” the voice, partly human and partly computerized sounding, demands threatening as the Prichers nods in obedience; casting a final glare at the dead soldier they’ve dragged along the way before throwing it into the empty tube as the dark shadow closes it with haste before pressing some buttons on the controls.

A loud hissing can be heard as oxygen and a strange liquid gets pumped into the tube, followed by wires shooting down from the top and inserting into the dead soldier’s skin; blasting jolts after jolts of electricity into the body as sudden scream of horror flows out of the soldier’s mouth; his eyes jolting open and his back arching as a pulse races through the remains of his body,

“Excellent...” the armored shadow proclaims, emotionless, as it watches the mechanical arms entering the tube, each carrying machined parts for to patch up another fallen victim and joining it into their growing numbers; a sudden red flashing goes off throughout the place as the armored shadow looks up in annoyance,

“What do my brethren want now...” he asks himself before looking at the Prichers, his armor slowly cracking and fading away; as a bright blue light shines at them,

“...You 3... Watch this specimen closely and report to me once it is finished..!”
“Grrrrttggg... Yesss... Ziirrrrr” the scorpion Pricher answers the stranger, its voice sounding like a damaged computer unit mimicking a hollow female voice; as all 3 bow down before the dark shadow who marches past them, the loud clanking of metal on top of metal echoes through the empty hallway, creating an eerie and haunting sound that lingers even after the figure has disappeared from sight...
====

Where the world is destroyed and dominated by the strangest of creatures and beasts, down under the ground the bunkers remain hidden; where those who have lost everything are trying their best at rebuilding what was once their proud civilization.

But diseases still plague the survivors who are all located to specialized sections of the bunkers, now acting as hospitals for the growing numbers of people plagued with unexplainable symptoms like black lined scarring on their skin and feverish high temperatures that leave the medics and even soldiers baffled on what the cause could be.

Further down the bunkers, the so called metropolis square, those deemed fit enough are trained and raised to be able to fight; to protect their growing community from The Horsemen and their forces along with being trained to get out and rescue any other survivor in the upper cities.

Bordering just against the square lies the HQ of the bunker, where inside people are rushing to maintain a constant supply of food, energy and even specially designed bullets to fight against them.

“Sir... Sir..!” one of the soldiers calls out to a guy standing behind several monitors, overlooking the upper city in case any survivors are out there; he slowly turns his head to look over his shoulder, smiling a little,

“At ease” he says calmly before turning around completely, watching how the woman salutes him before gaining her composure,

“Thank you sir, I came to report that we are running out of ammo fast”
“I am already aware of that, Jiahua and that... That thing..! Are out to gather new batches” the guy says with hateful spite in his voice,

“But Gregory, sir... That thing is your siste...”
“THAT CLONE IS NOT MY SISTER!” Gregory yells it out in rage before he as well regains his composure; eying the young female soldier, who jumped back in shock,

“I... I am sorry sir”
“Is okay, at ease soldier”
“Yes sir..!” the soldier replies as she salutes and walks away, Gregory salutes as well before turning around with his head hanging,

‘I will never forgive you for breaking our parents promise... Sarah’ his thoughts tells him as he looks at a hanger containing a picture of his sister and parents, a picture where they looked like a happy family and where she still had black hair...
====

It is a cold, stiff room where the smell of rotting carcasses clearly poisons the very air one breathes like a deadly toxic.

“How are your forces doing... Famine?” a voice speaks from the shadows, sounding male and young, but low and nearly devilish; as the half man, half machined body of the Horsemen member Famine walks out of the shadows with a blue light emitting from it’s mechanized eye that reveals his body in the afterglow.

“My forces are growing by numbers each day, Death...” Famine answers with his part human, part computerized voice void of emotions to his leader and fellow brother; all the while bowing down.

“If your forces are growing by the day... Then why haven’t they breached through those human cattle’s defenses..?” a third voice asks from the shadows, a young voice which has a hint of being ancient in it; this causes Famine to look up and glare into the direction the voice came from,

“You should hold your tongue, War..!” Famine spat in anger,

“ENOUGH!” Death’s voice bellows in anger, causing both Famine and War to cower in the shadows of where they stand,

“If I may be so bold...” a 4th voice begins as a digital map suddenly emerges in the middle of them,

“...But it seems like a human and something, familiar... Are heading to what was once PRICHE HQ”
“Oh do not worry about those 2, Pestilence...” Famine began, a vile smile forming on his half deformed face as he watches the 2 bleeps walking,

“...For I have a Pricher who roams nearby that place”
“Then summon it... Alert it to their presence!” Death demands before silence falls and the blue glow fades away from the place, while the heavy clanking on metal continues to echo throughout the room,

“As you wish, Death...”
====

The skies, a blood red color; it has been that color for years now, giving the world of today a look of dead with the ruins of buildings the look of ghost towns.

All but one building, devastated the most, is or was once known as PRICHE HQ, where Raiden and the other new Riders were built to serve in the war against the Childs and the so called Gods; a small light can be seen moving around the lower regions of the ruins.

“I know I used to work here, but this place still gives me the creeps” a woman’s voice speaks up as 2 people are seen walking through what appears to be a long hallway that leads to wherever they are heading of to; occasionally some dust and small rubble falls off of either the wall or ceiling while a flashlight is all that illuminates the road ahead,

“I know it does Sarah, this place is still filled with the sense of unorthodox experimenting” a male’s voice answers the woman, named Sarah, while shining the flashlight around the place to get a clearer view; as through many of the open cracks different rooms are visible, rooms that used to be laboratories where either experiments or weapons and Riders were being made.

The journey through the long hallway seems to be never ending until the guy aims his flashlight at half an open door with a tag, partly covered in dust; a smile creeping over his face,

“We’ve made it Sarah, look!”
“I see it Jiahua, can we please get the ammo and get out of here..?” Sarah asks the man, Jiahua, with fear in her voice as they enter the room stocked with ammo of all kinds; yet a strange cold wind seems to be seeping through the cracks, like the ghosts of forgotten memories that send shivers up and down Sarah’s spine.

Jiahua only smiles a bit as he turns his head, looking at the red haired woman while shining his flashlight at her, seeing the hints of fear in her eyes before he turns around again and shines the light back into the room; revealing what is left of the special ammunition that is still present,

“From the looks of it, this may just be our last visit to this place, so calm down Sarah” Jiahua answers her while walking further into the room; the wooden floor creaking under the weight of each footstep; Sarah continues to look with fear in her eyes as sweat starts to crawl over her skin slowly as she looks around while slowly walking forward.

Unaware that both are being watched by nearly 6 to 8 digital camera lenses from the darkness as a shadowy figure brushed past them swiftly, causing Sarah to turn around and look into the direction of where the sound came from, she slowly aims the flashlight into the darkness to see what it was she heard. As Jiahua turns his head around and looks at Sarah himself, wondering why she is standing still,

“You okay Sarah..?” he calls out to her as she turns around looking at him, managing to show a small smile as she nods a bit,

“Yeah, I am okay... Just thought I’ve heard something”
“Could be possible, since this is an old building ready to crumble at any given moment...” Jiahua answers as his head turns to face into the room before entering, Sarah follows closely behind him yet still being unable to shake off the feeling of actually being watched from behind.

“...So it is possible that you might be hearing things that aren’t there; oh and look out where you place your steps before you fall down through the floor” Jiahua calls and warns the woman who slowly enters the room herself, taking careful steps as each step causes the floor to crack louder and louder while they both walk further into the room filled with what’s left of the special ammo and strange looking spider webs that covers the place.

Shining her flashlight up all over the spider webs, unknown shivers continue to travel throughout Sarah’s skin, the feeling of a haunting dread continues to follow her every step like the ghosts of her gruesome past being ready to fade through the walls of the death and into the living; her eyes continues to dart left and right, finding it hard for her eyes to get used to the darkness that seems to be playing tricks on her mind.

Shakingly, sweating, she takes another step on the rotting floor only to feel all of her weight suddenly shifting to her right leg; a sense of misplacement suddenly flows through her as she looks down, only to see the floor under her foot cracking and breaking open completely.

“JIAHUAAA!” she screams at the top of her lungs, but it came too late as her balance fades away and her body falls down the now hole of the floor; falling several feet down and even crashing through some rotting floors here and there before hitting a hard concrete floor with a loud enough, crashing thud and cracks!

“Sarah..?” Jiahua asks as he slowly turns around, only to see the gaping hole in the floor; his eyes widening as he runs cautiously to the opening, shining his light down to try and find the young red head, “...SARAH!!!”
====

Sarah...

Sarah...

She could hear her name ringing clearly in her ear while squirting her closed eyes a bit, slowly regaining conscious only to stiffen several moans of pain from releasing her lips; the feeling of all of her bones having broken and stabbing out of her skin overwhelms her while she slowly opens her eyes, trying to see where she is, but all she can see is a faint dim light in an otherwise darkened room.

“SARAH!” she hears her name much more clearly as light shines directly into her eyes from above, revealing strange black markings or drawings on her skin along with revealing some of the broken, blood stained bones piercing out of her skin.

Sickening cracking starts to echo through the dark room as Sarah screams it out in pain, while every broken piece of the bones in her body turns to dust along with regrowing new pieces of bone to replace the old along with the pierced out bones bending and pushing into her skin, causing new tears to appear in her skin with the blood creeping out as every nerve ending gets cut in half before reattaching themselves once the bones are back in place and the skin slowly heals up the cuts, holes and tears.

Raising her head up to look into the light, she faintly sees the shape of Jiahua who’s shining the flashlight’s light down to her, through pained breaths she calls out to him above,

“Y... Yeah I’m fine... Just some broken bones...”
“Hang on, I’m coming down!” Jiahua calls back down to her.

Minutes slowly slips away into the mauls of time, as Jiahua finally descends and touches the floor of the room where Sarah’s lying by the use of some cables he found upstairs. The pitch darkness greats them both as he helps the young woman back up on her feet, both unaware of a faint light in the corner of the room and reddish eyes staring at them from the darkness itself.

“Thank you Jiahua” Sarah says to Jiahua after being helped standing back up on her healed legs, the latter nodding an appreciation before looking around, noticing the faint light in the corner,

“What is this place..?” he asks Sarah while shining the flashlight over the place, revealing many cobwebs covering not only the place, but many computer panels that are still at the place, most of which being destroyed years ago,

“I honestly don’t know...” Sarah answers with a look of confusion on her face, seeing what is in the room,

“Ping Hui never showed me this place before when I first came to work on Raiden and the others” her eyes continue to dart while walking around cautiously as they make their way to the dim light in the corner; flashlight shining to try and see what is causing the dim light upon seeing the shape of a large capsule, covered mostly in dust and a small computer plugged on the right of it.

Handing over his flashlight to the woman, Jiahua examines the small computer which seems to be in standby mode; Sarah herself wipes away a bit of the dust only to jump back and makes a faint noise, causing Jiahua to look at her,

“What’s wrong..?”
“I... Inside... Th... There’s a Rider inside..!” Sarah manages to stammer as Jiahua blinks at her in surprise, somewhere not believing the news; he addresses her firmly while turning to stand next to her and face her,

“Sarah, you and I both know that after the events of the Child Lords, the Gods and the Gale Cataclysm, the Riders died”
“B... But...” Sarah stammers before regaining her composure, “...Well then, if you are so certain, then look for yourself!”

Sighing, shaking his head he turns his head to look at the glass only for his eyes to grow wide upon seeing a grey, bug shaped eye staring through where Sarah has wiped away some of the dust,

“Unbelievable” was all that Jiahua could mutter as he starts to wipe away more of the dust from the capsule, slowly revealing more and more of the strange Rider inside the with clear liquid filled capsule.

Taking a few steps back, both Jiahua and Sarah are shocked yet amazed at seeing the Rider fully. With armor as black as coal on a black under suit, yet adorned with silverish, almost dark gray lining and spikes; the helmet adorned with dark gray horns and menacing gray bug eyes, giving the Rider a demonic appearance save for the red scarf wrapped around his neck.

“Could this be..?”
“Could what be..? Sarah?”
“When I was approached by Ping Hui to make my dream of making an army of Riders come true, he told me that he wanted to give making a Rider another try after his first attempt proved to be a failure...” Sarah answers as she slowly touches the outer glass casing of the capsule, unaware to both that the Rider’s fingers slowly wiggle a bit as if slowly awakening from a deep slumber,

“...But I never suspected that he would have kept this one around, I mean the first ones that came before Raiden were all failures and were all terminated”
“I see, well maybe we can find some kind of information on this Rider on the computer linked to this capsule” Jiahua answers as he focuses his attention to the small computer, pressing buttons randomly as the device flashes to live, revealing many different kind of files like schematics of the Rider’s system among other things,

“...Amazing...” Jiahua speaks loudly, “...I knew that Ping Hui was a genius, but this Multiple Core System is unlike anything I have seen before”

“What do you mean..?” Sarah asks curiously as Jiahua plugs in a small USB stick into the pc, uploading all of the information,

“What I mean is that unlike with Gale, Pegasus, Raiden and the others; Ping Hui designed this system more on Arch’s cells... This Rider...” Jiahua says while looking up at the Rider in the liquid, “...This Rider’s system consist out of nano-bots, crawling through his body instead of the body being remade into a cyborg”

“So he is basically a Nano Cyborg..? A Nano-borg?”
“To say it simple..? Yes” Jiahua answers her while examining the schematics, discovering that there are several design errors to the system along with different kind of solutions to them, few of which having been marked off as if they’ve already been dealt with.

Looking over his shoulder, Sarah stares in amazement at the speed that Jiahua is working, deciphering strange descriptions while uploading all the data; unaware as within the shadows, small noises can be heard like paper being stepped on, a bunch of red eyes seems to be glowing in the never ending darkness of the place while slowly and silently making it’s way to them like a hungry predator stalking its prey.

Pressing the buttons feverishly, Jiahua suddenly retracts his hands from the consoles as on the screen a video diary starts playing; showing an old male scientist working alone in the room on equipment badly damaged by events of long ago.

~“Day 17...” the voice of the scientist speaks into the microphone, “...I am having the feeling that I am coming closer to finding a solution to fix Gaia’s system, and it didn’t came a moment too soon since his cells, while now stable within the liquid, are being eaten away by the nano-bots”

The camera zooms out a bit before zooming in much more closely to the sleeping Rider, where mechanical arms inside of the capsule are busy making some modifications to the belt,

“By altering the belt, I hope to at least give the system a different kind of power source... I must hurry up, since time is running out...”

The old scientist looks into the camera with a look of worry and determination while he is busy uploading the new schematics into the computer connected to the capsule,

“With time running out, I hope to fix this young man’s body and his memories before this damned system kills him... Before I can even find some kind of evidence to arrest Ping Hui for crimes he has done against human nature...” the scientist says on the video before walking out of the room, shutting off most of the power apart from the capsule as the video screen starts to go static before going dark.~

Eyes glued to the screen, both Jiahua and Sarah continue watching after the short video diary file ended and a different file revealed itself; showing a blueprint of different altercations to the belt and energy source, unaware of thin mechanical spikes slowly rising up over their heads from the very shadows belonging to the realm darkness, examining the prey carefully before slowly retracting a bit into the realm of despair,

“This is amazing..!” Jiahua calls out loudly in glee as he examines the blueprints of the altercations for the belt, feeling like a kid in the candy shop as the information gets downloaded into the slotted USB stick before removing it,

“I must say, that this Doctor N person is very intelligent coming up with the idea of using power cells charged with the elements of Earth for a power source...” he says out loudly before looking directly at Sarah, who looks back at him with fear still reading in her eyes,

“...I mean with this kind of information, we should be able to make much more effective weapons to fight against them..!”
“That is fine Jiahua, but can we please get out of here..? There is something here that is giving me a lot of negative chills” Sarah answers a plea while hugging her shoulders with her hands, looking around the place and into the lurking darkness of the place before she focuses her attention to the mysterious Rider in the capsule, getting a much clearer look of the belt that appears to be finished yet not finished at the same time,

“...And what do we do about him..?”
“That Rider..? Well he is basically an old model, he is worthless...” Jiahua answers as he glares over his shoulder, looking at the capsule before looking back at the woman in front of him,

“Now let us get to top side and collect the remaining ammo, so that we at least can buy ourselves some extra time while developing new kind of weaponry”

Grinning from ear to ear, Sarah shakes her head and sighs at the given answer of Jiahua; the latter putting the cap back on the USB stick before putting the small device into one of the pockets of his coat, unaware of 8 red LEDS slowly going on in the darkness behind him. The lights slowly rises up, towering over Jiahua and glares down like a demonic entity ready to take full possession over it’s victim; Sarah’s pupils grow small as she sees it, fear shivering through her body as she tries to push it aside, seeing as a red glow washes over what appears to be metal blades in the darkness itself,

“JIAHUA... BEHIND YOU!” Sarah shouts as she grabs hold of Jiahua and pushes him aside, only to suddenly stagger herself as coldness starts to sweep over her body; shaking feverishly as her eyes look into the 8 red LEDS staring back at her, her body breaking out in a cold sweat as her knees starts to quiver under her weight, life slowly slipping out as numbness covers her senses, while hearing her name being called out loudly which slowly fades into mere whispers.

The ice cold grasp of Dead himself slowly grabs her in his grasp, while the thought of a mechanical laughter oddly enough echoes into her ears...
====

“SARAH... SARAH!” Jiahua screams at the woman, watching the life slowly fading out of her body by the 4 blades piercing through her; he flashes the flashlight into the direction of where the 4 blades and the 8 red LEDS are in the darkness; his eyes growing wide in terror at the sight in front of him, hardly not believing it despite having heard soldiers talking about the creatures that has been attacking the outside of the entrance to the underground bunkers.

Raising his ears a bit, his eyes dart a bit past the thing upon having thought that he heard something creaking open, only to duck his body to the ground as a sturdy glass door smashes straight against the unknown creature, knocking it away as Jiahua blinks his eyes upon having thought seeing a silverish gray blur ramming the glass door against the thing only to turn his head around upon hearing the walls crumbling down by an unknown amount of sheer force, leaving a large enough opening behind as light finally shines into the darkness,

“...What on Earth..?” Jiahua mutters surprised to himself before focusing his attention to his companion, the young redhead breathing heavy while lying in a puddle of her own blood as he rushes over to her side,

“Sarah! Oh gods wake up damnit!” Jiahua cusses in worry at Sarah as his fists pound the woman’s chest, causing her to cough loudly and her eyes slowly opening; her wounds slowly healing,

“Wh... What happened..?”
“I don’t know... Come on, we better get out of here” he tells her while slowly helping her back up on her feet and wraps her arm over his shoulder for support, slowly they make their way to the open hole in the wall while clearly hearing the battle going on outside of the room.

-Battle Theme Gaia Chaos Form: “Progenies of the Great Apocalypse” by Dimmu Borgir-

Roaring in complete anger, the demonic and chaotic looking Rider glares menacingly against the creature, who in the light looks like a heavily deformed human with half a mechanized skull with 8 glowing red LEDS acting as eyes and wiring running from the top and down through the skin. Both his arms replaced by mechanical claws at the elbow as pieces of it’s exposed chest are covered by metal plating that seems to be keeping the rotting flesh in place, 4 long with blood dripping blades attached to mechanical arms are sprouting out of it’s back while the thing is standing on what seems to be industrial robot arms and claws acting as legs and feet, piercing out of decaying skin along with metal spikes going in a sack like shape on the thing’s back with more pieces of skin draped over it coupled with wiring going through what remains of the thing’s once human body even going through the crotch area.

“Dear lords... A Spider Pricher!” Jiahua shouts in fear as Sarah opens her eyes completely, both staring at the hybrid thing as it turns around and glares at them; completely forgetting the Rider as it laughs an emotionless, hollow, computerized laughter before taking steps towards them.

Staring, the Rider growls it out in fury as it grabs hold of the bladed legs, only to pull the Spider Pricher back to him and lifts it up like a rag doll before throwing it against one of the still standing pillars; a sickening crack and tear echoes as the beast roars it out in emotionless pain, glaring down to see a tear in its side, the rotting stench of dead starts to slowly fill the air as it struggles to get back up only for the Rider to come running at him, followed by smashing his knee straight into the thing’s gut over and over again before grabbing it at its misshaped head, ramming his knee straight up the chin followed by grabbing hold of the thing’s blades.

A low, deadly chuckle seems to come from behind the Rider’s helmet as it starts to pull 2 of the bladed arms out slowly at first, enjoying the sudden cries of computerized pain coming from the Pricher before yanking with all of his might, literally tearing the 2 limbs off as oily liquid spurts out of where the arms once rested followed by ramming his leg in an all out powerful roundhouse kick against the thing’s head, kicking it straight through several pillars before crashing into a with steel enforced brick wall; causing the place to get covered by dust as both Jiahua and Sarah closes their eyes and covers their mouths.

Staring, the Rider’s eyes light up as if scanning through the dusty fog, trying to pinpoint the location of his target only to step aside from webbing getting shot at him; he quickly grabs hold of the web only to yank it with relatively ease, literally pulling the Spider Pricher out of hiding followed by smashing his right fist straight into the Spider’s face!

Howling it out in sheer pain, the Spider Pricher covers it’s face with its claws before lowering them, revealing 4 of its eyes shattered completely as it roars in anger; it throws out it’s remaining 2 blades only to witness the Rider easily dodging and swiping them away, followed by punching his fists like jackhammers into the Pricher’s chest, tearing away skin by skin followed by denting the metal plating hiding underneath the skin. Taking a few steps back, the Rider glares down at his foe as it struggles getting back up on it’s feet, glaring at him with half the working eyes before charging it’s 2 bladed legs against him.

Roaring out loudly in anger and rage himself, the Rider once again grabs hold of the bladed arms and rips them out in one go; the deafening scream echoes throughout the building as the Rider slices the bladed arms down, literally decapitating the hybrid beast’s arms off as even more oily liquid squirts out. The Rider glares down emotionlessly while watching the Pricher backing up before making a run for it, a soft chuckle escapes from the air vents in his helmet as the Rider throws the 2 blades like boomerangs, slicing the legs off through the knees as the Pricher falls down on the concrete, causing more dust to rise while trying to roll over onto it’s back.

It’s body squirming in pain as the dust slowly clears, seeing the Rider walking over to him slowly and menacingly as the grayish silver bug eyes light up; crouching through his knees, the Rider makes a quick dash only to jump up high into the room, bringing his arms and knees to his chest, as 10 more shadow clones of his form manifest and jump out of him, each circling around the downed foe,

“Gaia’s... CHAOS!!!” the Rider shouts it out in Azathoth’s own savage cry of fury, as each of the shadow clone comes crashing down at the foe, left leg stretched in a flying dragon kick upon hitting the Pricher, the latter screaming it out in pain as atom by atom in it’s body slowly starts to split; the Rider himself finally comes crashing down into the attack as well as his left foot hits the Pricher head on only to push himself back up into a somersault and comes back down crashing again, right foot extended and blazing with black, chaotic flames from the deepest bowls of the most vile and darkest of all pits; the kick tears through the Pricher like a hot knife going through butter with the latter screaming it out completely, it’s atoms finally tearing apart like a chain reaction as a great, blinding white light covers the area, followed by an all powerful explosion that shatters everything on it’s path, distorting the area as it does so.
====

Time seems to be moving at a snail’s pave as the blinding light slowly dies down, revealing the area to have changed completely; where once dust and decay was now are small patches of grass and some plant life growing along with a small creek in the epi-center of the explosion.

Their eyes in complete shock after opening, both Jiahua and Sarah witnesses the beauty of mother Nature after unknown time of a desert wasteland; neither being able to believe what they are seeing,

“My god...” Sarah began,

“...It is so beautiful”
“It truly is... But the question is what caused this..? And where’s the building..?” Jiahua answers as he looks around the place, while Sarah only shrugs before standing on her own strength once more with her wounds fully healed; her eyes suddenly dart forward to a dark shadow walking towards them,

“...Oh my god, Jiahua look!” she screams at the guy while pointing at the shadow walking to them before stopping in it’s tracks, followed by convulsing in pain as electricity seems to be washing all over his body before dropping down. Swallowing her fear away, Sarah rushes over to the stranger,

“Sarah, wait!” Jiahua calls out after her, but to no avail as he as well runs after the woman, both coming to a halt as they see the figure up closely; dressed in a black under suit, a red scarf around the neck, silverish gray armor with white lining covering it along with a black helmet with dim purple eyes and neon white, almost see through half circular horns they both take a step back,

“Is it that Rider who defeated that Spider Pricher..?”
“Seems to be... Come on Sarah, we better head back to base. There are sure to be more around this area” Jiahua commands as he turns around, making an attempt to walk away only to get halted by the woman,

“And what..? Leave him here..? This guy saved our fucking lives, so the least we can do is take him along with us to base, Jiahua!”

Sighing, shaking his head, Jiahua reluctantly turns around while muttering something under his breath, as he helps Sarah in picking the Rider up by his arms and carefully dragging him away from the place where life seems to be growing once more.

Both however being unaware that something else is spying on them from the shadows, as a pair of eyes stare at them walking away from the place,

“...Another Rider..? Death is not going to like this news...” the mechanical voice talks to itself before focusing it’s attention to the other pair of eyes; it’s own bluish eye’s glow giving a faint outlining of the other presence, resembling what appears to be some sort of winged creature,

“Follow them, don’t leave them out of your sight or else!”
“Yezzzzz... Mazzzzter Famine...” the winged creature answers as it bows before taking flight into the skies, leaving the Horseman, Famine, behind who is thinking things through on these new kind of revelations,

“Brother Death is definitely not going to like this...” Famine mutters to himself before turning around and fading away into the very shadows itself...

Masked Rider Gaia

Episode 02

“Rider”
====
OP Theme

“Melantroduction”
By Lacrimas Profundere
====

Buried deep below the soils of what was once the vast metropolis known as Singapore, one of man’s last piece of civilization has found refugee; the underground bunkers created by Priche HQ, the architects who designed the place were inspired greatly by not only the labyrinth building of Priche HQ itself, but by technological wonders like the underground bunkers of Hitler in the Czech Republic with large, almost whole house like length, chambers reminiscent of the haunted Vaults of Edinburgh.

Most of the chambers are used as temporary homes for the survivors of the Apocalyptic Event at the hand of their previous saviors, the Masked Riders. The word now associated with a deep black wound of poisonous anger and venomous hatred within the very hearts of those who live there now like refugee, or more like sewer rats struggling to live in what they refer to as Limbo in front of the infernal gates of Hell itself.

Other chambers in the bunkers are used to grow and store food, a hard progress due to the lack of any real kind of sunlight and the only light being provided by a few UV light bars that swallow too much electricity that the several generators scurried over the place can produce; a hardship made even worser by the survivors who are terminally ill or stricken down by an unknown kind of decease.

Further up ahead in the bunkers, one can find the many chambers used to house the sick, used as medical facilities and even as morgues to those who succumb to either their terminal illness, deep rotting infected wounds caused by the Event or of starvation and weakness; they claim that those stricken with the unknown illness are howling and moaning out loudly each and every night, due to either pain or the coldness no one knows as no one knows how to help these people.

All the way to the end, one can find the training facilities of the soldiers who gets trained and armed for combat whenever the Main Command Unit HQ discovers any kind of survivors on the grounds above and they get dispatch out to rescue these survivors, or to stand at ready to defend their last stronghold of survival just in case their enemies, The Horsemen, manages to find a way to infiltrate and destroy them all.

The training facilities are designed and build to resemble one of the places known as ‘Hell on Earth’, the Amersfoort Concentration Camps, even going down to including the Watch towers and the long lonely path of solitude; with rumors telling of how Ping Hui even went as far as to actually pay the city of Amersfoort, the Netherlands, to acquired the rights to the national monument and having it removed from it’s original resting place all the way to the bunkers, claimed for being the starting point with the bunkers being build around it. As for how these rumors came to be, those who walk to the midpoint of the bunkers, the square point park, claim to have seen ghostly apparitions and loud, horrible moaning along with shadow figures walking the place before dropping down to their knees as if something or someone shot them dead.

Inside one of the buildings of these training facilities, all kind of people are seen running around from place to place, carrying pieces of paper with information written on them containing the status of their soldiers and the people living there; even after the destruction of Singapore and the rest of the world, the people have remained the same in the bunkers, always running from one place to another like time is their enemy.

“It is WHAT!?” a voice, filled with anger, echoes out of one of the many rooms as 3 people are present in an office, with one sitting behind a desk while the 2 others are standing in front of the person, looking down at him,

“You heard me correctly Greg, the ammo is all gone!”
“Jiahua... Last time you told me that there were several clips still present...” the guy behind the desk, Greg, says while rubbing his temples a bit; deciding to not look at the guy, Jiahua,

“...And now you are telling me that it is all gone..? What in Hell’s name happened?”
“We gotten ambushed by a Spider Pricher, brother..! If it wasn’t for that Rider we brought in, we’d been dead and...”
“Shut up clone! Do NOT call me brother! We are not related!” Greg snaps in anger against the woman, the redhead named Sarah, as he pounds both his fists down on the desk; causing Sarah to jump back a bit in shock,

“Greg... In all fairness...”
“Hold your tongue, Jiahua!” Greg shouts against Jiahua, the former point his index finger at the latter while glaring, still not having forgiven what Jiahua did,

“...Now... Show me this Rider...” Greg finally says after taking a few minutes to calm down from his burst of anger, as if his day couldn’t get any worser then it already is; he looks up at the 2 while slowly standing up,

“...He is in the infirmary, resting and healing bro...Greg” Sarah answers, only to witness Greg not paying attention to her, instead glaring at Jiahua,

“...Follow me then...” Jiahua mutters as he and Sarah walk out of the room, followed closely by Greg.

Darkness...

Its presence more then enough to make even the strongest of warriors succumbs to cowardice and fear, as metal clanks down upon a cold steel floor echoes throughout the place with only a blue light piercing through the dark.

A thin beam of light shines down from the ceiling to the floor, revealing a symbol scratched in the floor, resembling a creature’s head covered by a cloak along with the glyph drawings resembling Famine, Pestilence, War and Death, each placed on the 4 corners of the wind; the symbol of the Horsemen; as from 3 other corners, ruffling sounds can be heard along with muttering of words before red bug like eyes light up in the darkness.

“Famine... I hope you bare good news...” one of them speaks up with authority and pure evil in his voice, the blue glow slowly kneels as it tries not to make eye contact,

“Forgive me brother Death, but my Pricher has failed... Another Ri...”
“...WHAT!” Death bellows in anger, not letting Famine finish his sentence as a strong gust of wind blows against the latter, causing him to get pushed back into a corner; grunting as it did so,

“How dare you summon us all, and call us brother if you come with news of defeat!”
“B... But it is not my fault brother... My precious Spider Pricher was vaporized on spot by another Rider and...”
“ENOUGH! Get out of my sight; do not dare to come back to us until you have your army breached down the humans’ underground stronghold!” Death demands, threatening with his bug eyes blazing in complete rage as the other pair of bug eyes appear to be snickering to themselves, watching their brother Famine with glee as the latter comes crawling into view; cracks running through what remained of his Rider helmet and armor, with parts and limbs replaced by mechanical patches and limbs, even parts of his broken helmet reveals the mechanized face underneath with a rather large blue orb acting as an eye while the remaining bug eye is cracked and blackish red, as his torn and shredded scarf hits the ground,

“F... Forgive me brother... I... I promise you I won’t fail you again...” Famine answers in his hollow, emotionless and computerized voice to Death while carefully looking up,

“...I... I have already sent out another Pricher to keep watch, and strike once the opportunity rises”
“You better not fail us then... Brother” one of the other 2 Horsemen answers, while using the word brother mockingly, causing Famine to glare at him,

“Go to Hell, War!”
“ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!” Death’s voice calls out in rage, having grown tired of Famine and War’s constant bickering for nearly the last year,

“War, hold your tongue... And you Famine... Do not fail us again..!” Death demands threatening as Famine cowers and kneels down,

“You’re will be done...” Famine answers upon standing up straight and turning around, walking out of the room and into the shadows, disappearing out of sight.

“I can not believe why you still keep that piece of machine around us, Brother..!” War calls out to Death after being certain that Famine has left, a light chuckle echoes from Death’s hidden lips,

“Because he is not like us, dear War” Pestilence answers from the other side, deciding to finally speak once more,

“That and his forces are meant as a distraction while we can focus on our true goal”
“Pestilence is correct, War... As long as Famine keeps the humans occupied, we can find the seals that are the locks to our Dark Masters’ prison... We just need to find the main seal to shatter the rest like tearing paper...” Death explains to War, the latter chuckling rather loudly at the cruelness of the plan, yet loving it all together,

“So that is why we still are keeping up this masquerade with that Priche Reject, I shall have my forces go out and search for the seal” War shouts out upon turning around, leaving the place himself,

“Dear brother Death...” Pestilence began, looking into the direction of Death,

“What about this Rider that vanquished Famine’s Pricher..?”
“I wouldn’t worry too much about that one, Pestilence... For it appears to be an even older model then Raiden... Heh heh heh...” Death chuckles evilish as his bug eyes fade away into the darkness once more, followed by Pestilence’ bug eyes fading away as well...

The walls of the hospital room are as white as snow, with a barred window and 3 rows of curtains covering a hospital bed, other then that the room is as bland and boring as can be, no other furniture, no nothing apart from a monitor reading a heart beat; the door to the room opens as a young Asian nurse leads 2 people into the room,

“Here you go sir”
“Thank you nurse” Greg answers the nurse politely who smiles and walks out of the room, as both he and Jiahua walks over to the bed, pulling the curtains aside while doing so to get a good look at the person lying in bed.

A respirator is placed on his mouth to provide oxygen into his lungs while resting, a rather odd looking bulb seems to be placed around his waist despite having covers draped over his body; his skin more of a ghostly white then pale while a few scars are present on what is exposed of his shoulders and chest, while his facial features says that he is of Germania descent. A monitor continues to beep steadily with an occasional hic-up as it reads the guy’s heart beat,

“So... This is the Rider..?” Greg asks Jiahua as he turns his head to the latter, who nods yes,

“This is him alright”
“...Damn Ping Hui, using a foreigner for his experimenting...” Greg mutters while rubbing his face before examining the guy lying in bed more closely, from the dark brownish-near black hair to the shape of his body hidden under the covers, noticing the strange looking shape as well as noticing it being incomplete,

“I assume that that is his belt yes..?”
“Yes”
“Okay... Any idea on who this person is..?”
“His name is Michel P. Dijkhuizen, European male of about 28, maybe 29 years old...” Jiahua answers Greg’s question while looking down at the young male,

“He had himself pronounced dead in the Netherlands back in 2006, so that he could live a life in the USA. He was employed at the Power Line Corporation in 2007 and became part of the Rider System there. He took on the mantle of Kamen Rider Blitz and apparently retired in 2008, he has been missing since 2009 while getting married the year before”
“Well, now we know what happened to him” Greg answers as he exhales the held back air after listening to Jiahua,

“Make certain that he is given the best kind of medical care while still being here...”
“Very well, but Greg... What about the blueprints I mentioned to you earlier, we can use these found blueprints to make better weaponry and...”

But Jiahua never managed to finish his sentence as the heart monitor starts to flash an alarming red light along with showing the heart beating dangerously fast, causing the young man to moan briefly before coughing and shaking like crazy, as if electricity of high voltage is getting charged through him time and time again,

“Dear gods! What is happening to him!” Greg demands as he looks at Jiahua, the latter pointing at the odd shape hidden under the covers,

“It appears to be his belt that is causing this; according to video logs his system is a prototype that is eating away at his cells, the professor who was working on him made these blueprints in order to save his life which it should and...”
“Well then, do it! Fix his system and safe his life!” Greg shouts out loudly in anger, causing Jiahua to shake while trying to find the right words to counter,

“But Greg, that would be a waste of time. We’d be better off making new weapons for our soldiers and...”

But once again his sentence gets cut short as Greg grabs hold of him by the collar, followed by smashing him against the wall in anger,

“Now you listen to me, that guy, that Rider saved both your asses so I’ll be damned if I would allow you to take his life away..!” Greg shouts, enraged as Jiahua cowers in complete fear,

“A... As you wish... Sir...” Jiahua stammers an answer before letting go, dropping to the ground before pressing a button on the wall as within minutes medics comes charging into the room,

“Take him to the O.R., stabilize him so that I can finish construction of his belt and different power source” Jiahua calls out to the medics who nod upon wheeling the patient away...
====

Just outside of the entrance to the underground bunkers, a dark shadow can be seen flying over the ground as in the skies itself a winged creature appears to be monitoring the ground below; as if trying to see if it can find an entrance to get into the bunkers before resting on a wall that once belonged to a police building,

“Zzzzthere hazzz to be a waaay to enttter...” the creature says to itself, it’s voice sounding male yet heavily synthesized as it scans the ground, looking as if it is trying to remember something only to cackle out loudly upon remembering something,

“Yezzzz... How ccccould I hazzz forgottttten... I knooow of a way iiiiiiin...” it grins to itself as it jumps off of the wall, gliding through the air while scanning the ground, trying to find the hidden entrance that it has just remembered upon seeing something glistering in the dust and sand,

“Perrrrrfect...”
====

Time seems to be slowing down greatly as the many doctors in the O.R. are all busy, doing their best at stabilizing the heart beat of their patient, along with Jiahua dressed in operating clothes as he himself is hard at work at rebuilding and finishing the work on the belt that Doctor N. started those years ago; the sweat pouring down his face as he carefully adds another microchip into the belt before connecting, lining and even soldering the wires into place, making certain to have everything in the right place and working order for the alternative outer source of power to work for the new system,

“Almost there... Just need to connect these last few wires and this new system is basically done...” Jiahua mutters to himself while being extra careful, slowly slotting the last few wires into place before pulling the operation mask down from his face, breathing out his breath as a sign of relief while averting his eyes to the crew of doctors,

“How are you all doing..?”
“We are almost done stabilizing him...” one of the medics answers before they as well back away, watching the monitor bleeping a steady heart beat once more,

“Gentlemen, the operation is a success!”

Several hours have passed since the operation, as the top scientists are busy building a small power cell under the supervision of Greg; the latter paying a close attention that everything is going right as the scientists present work hard at finishing the small device, he finally addresses one of them,

“How is the build coming along!?”
“We are almost finished building sir” one of the scientists answers Greg while working further on the small device,

“...The outer casing is completed, and we are almost done with fusing the 4 elements into 1 source of power but...”
“But what..?”
“We are still struggling on the amount sir, for some reason we can not make the power source unlimited”
“I see... Well try to do what you all can”
“Yes sir” the scientist finishes the small talk as the team continues their best working on the device, even reading the readings on the computer screen to keep the flow of uploading the source of energy steady; smiles starts to form on the team’s faces as the monitor reveals the little squarish power cell being full,

“And we are done, sir”
“Excellent, good work to you all” Greg congrats the team of scientists as one of them comes walking up to him, presenting the small square like box colored an emerald green despite it containing the 4 known elements of earth, fire, air and water.

“Sir, Gregory, sir..?” a woman’s voice calls out to Greg, who turns to look behind him while taking hold of the small power cell,

“What is it, nurse..?”
“The patient is waking up sir”
“Good, I’ll be on my way thank you for informing me” Greg answers with a polite smile before focusing his attention to the small team of scientists,

“I trust you all to find an alternative power source to this power cell to make it infinite, yes?”
“We can not promise anything, but we shall try our best sir”
“Good, keep up the good work; oh and try to make some alternative power sources just to be on the safe side” Greg answers, yet asking the small team before walking out of the room, following the nurse to the infirmary...
====

Darkness covers his eyes as consciousness slowly comes back into him, the feeling of having slept forever still lingers his thoughts like a fog clogging up memories, memories so faint that they can be mistaken as just mere dreams; he squint his eyes a few times before opening his eyelids slowly to let his eyes adjust to the light that shines down upon him, he slowly brings a hand up to his face to rub the sleep out of his eyes before sitting up straight,

“By the devil... Where the **** am I..?” he mutters with a Dutch accent to himself in a rather baritone like voice while slowly opening his eyes completely to scan the room he is in,

“You are in the hospital ward” an Asian accented voice calls out to him, answering the question as the guy turns his head into the direction, seeing a commanding officer standing, or leaning against the wall with his arms crossed,

“Good morning mister Dijkhuizen, I was afraid that you weren’t going to wake up”
“Who are you..? And how do you know my name!?”
“My name is Gregory Yap, Greg for short, and I am basically this place boss or mayor” Greg answers Michel while walking over to him, the latter however glares at him with distrust,

“That answers my question I guess... Apart from how you know my name...”
“That is of no concerns for now; all you need to know is that I am a friend... Rider”
“Rider? H... How do you know that I am a Rider..?” Michel shouts out in shock, staring at the Asian man in complete disbelief,

“We have searched up your information... Tell me, what do you remember of the year 2009..?”
“Not much... Just that I went on a business trip to Singapore, to help some company on Rider technology... They wanted to study the Blitz Gear I used against creatures called the Familiar, but after that I remember nothing... Nothing at all... Just darkness, rage... Sadness and pain...” Michel tries his best to answer honestly before muttering, the feeling of something he should be remembering creeps up over his mind yet the fog keeps it shrouded; this causes Greg to look at the young man with a bit of worry on his face,

“Don’t force yourself; the memories will come back to you”
“The Blitz Gear... Where is it..?” Michel asks, looking up at Greg who has taken a chair and is sitting down in front of the bed,

“I am afraid that your old belt is destroyed... But apparently, when 2 of my men found you, you were using a different looking belt... We’ve tried to fix it as much as possible along with a little extra” Greg answers as he hands over the small, green colored power cell to Michel, the latter slowly yet gently grabbing hold of the small device while studying it himself,

“A different system..? You mean I am no longer able to change into Kamen Rider Blitz..?”
“You are able to change into a Rider, but no... You are no longer able to become Blitz...”
“...Well that just fucks it all...” Michel mutters as he lets his body drop back down onto the bed, still holding the power cell firmly in his hand while using his other hand to cover his face...

Clawing its way across the ceiling of the bunkers, the strange winged creature watches down below, its eyes scanning as if searching for something, or someone...

“Wherrrrrre arrrrre you... Girrrrrl... Currrrrrre...” it talks to itself, as it crawls further around on the ceiling of the bunker, its eyes always scanning the ground searching.

Its shadowy outlining doesn’t reveal all to much apart from it appearing to be humanoid with some kind of folded up wings; the creature continues to crawl over the ceiling, staring down at the people below who are walking around and children playing, watching them like a stalking predator looking for it’s prey to feast on, a mechanized looking claw slowly but firmly digs into the stone and concrete upon getting into a glow of light, a hollow yet soft sounding chuckle echoes from its mouth upon spotting what he’s been searching for, what he’s been coming for,

“Currrre... Fooooooouuuund!” it shouts from the shadows as it swoops down from high, covered in shadows looking like a black blurr with claws apart as it strikes..!
====

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

Both Michel and Greg look up as they heard the scream of a little girl, piercing through stone and concrete like the sharp howling of a banshee paralyzing it’s victims before devouring them,

“What on earth..?” Greg was the first to speak, his face glued to the mirror only to see something small and black flying around before heading up into the ceiling, disappearing out of sight; while Michel finishes getting dressed along with looking a bit surprised,

“Tell me... Did you idiots opened up some gateway to Hell that you basically have demon problems..?”
“Well not exactly... It is a long story, but the short version is that while you slept, our planet was send to damnation by the Apocalyptic War between the Masked Riders and the Gods, and by the Dimensional struggle of Riders... And we are currently living down here till one day we can reclaim our land from The Horsemen”
“The Horsemen..? I don’t think I want to know...” Michel mutters to himself while putting the small power cell into one of his jean’s pockets; bending down he ties the laces of his boots as a soldier comes running into the room, slamming the door open while doing so,

“S... Sir... I... Bring news... Sir...” the soldier tells through panting, out of breath and ready to fall over,

“At ease soldier, what’s the matter..?”
“S...Sir... That flying... Thing... P... Pricher... Kidnapped one of the last... Children rescued... Young Jun-Lé...”
“What!?” Greg shouts it out loud, not believing the news he heard,

“The nerve of Famine and his beasts... Kidnapping children as well now...”
“Children... They are our future... Oh they picked the wrong Rider to piss off... Where are the bikes!?” Michel demands after muttering to himself, grabbing hold of Greg by the collar and smashes him up against the wall much harder then he would have liked, leaving behind deep dents into the wall’s structure before letting go of the guy; he stares at his own hands,

“...WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO ME!?” Michel screams in anger, surprised at his sudden rise of power while Greg drops down onto his knees trying to catch his breath,

“You’ve apparently... Been augmented by some new kind... Of cyborg technology...”
“So I am basically a robot!?”
“Not really... As for the bikes... Training ground down below...” Greg manages to anwer before watching Michel dash off out of the hospital room.

His legs building with inhuman strength, Michel runs twice as fast without breaking a sweat while descending floor after floor, running past rooms where other sick people lay, some even being covered in strange tribal markings on their skins; he can feel his legs burning as tiredness seems to kick in upon running on the training grounds, running past the soldiers getting instructed on how to use the weapons by a red headed woman, the latter watches Michel running past them before coming to a stop at one of the bikes.

“Uh sir... I am sorry but no civilians are allowed to use our bikes... Sir... Sir..!?” Sarah calls out, but Michel pays her no attention as he sits down on the Apaché Warrior Concept Bike, turning the ignition as the engine roars to live; he is about to place his hands on the throttles before noticing that they are absent,

“Hey red head!” Michel turns around, calling out to Sarah,

“...Where are the bars..?”
“Sir, you have to get off of the bike and...”
“Give him the batons, Sarah” Greg’s voice suddenly calls out from behind Sarah as she freezes in her words, not wanting to look around as she does as told; walking over to Michel upon giving the baton,

“This baton is a weapon that also acts as throttles for the bikes” Sarah explains while handing over the baton to Michel, who immediately separate the weapon in half upon plugging it into the steering collumns, he revs the throttle a few times before kicking the stand up, immediately popping a wheelie as he races off; leaving both Sarah, Greg and the trainees behind to watch him race away...

Flying high through the dark red skies, the destroyed ruins of what was once known as Singapore; the young girl, Jun-Lé, dangles helplessly under the clawed feet of the Pricher that has kidnapped her,

“Please let me gooooooo!” Jun-Lé sobs while she struggles to free herself from her captor, but to no avail,

“I zzzzzave girl onssse... Now girl zzzzzave me, currrrrre me yezzzzz” the Pricher answers while flapping it’s half human, half mechanical arms with pieces of dried up skin pierced through metal spikes, mimicking the wings of a bat while gliding through the wind, its eyes hidden behind a dark visor to protect his vision from the sun while a metal plate covers nearly all of his face apart from the right lower side, revealing his nose and half of his mouth still in tact, tubes seems to be crawling under the skin of his exposed chest with patches of microchips placed here and there while his entire waist is replaced by a mechanized waist and demonic looking, almost goat like, mechanical legs with strong hoof like claws holding the little girl tightly in it’s grasp.

The loud revving sound of a roaring engine suddenly reaches the mechanical bat like ears as the Bat Pricher looks over it’s shoulder, seeing a dust cloud picking up speed and gaining distance faster and faster; the Bat Pricher zooms into the dust cloud only to see a lone human riding a bike like a pro, watching how the rider suddenly swerves to the right upon racing up a stone wall, using it like a ledge only to ride up straight against a wall from 1 of the many buildings,

“What’zzzzz that..?” the Bat Pricher asks itself as the little girl as well looks into the direction, seeing the rider racing up the walls,

“HELP ME!!!” the little girl screams at the top of her lungs as Michel glares to her direction, a small smirk crossing his face as he steers the wheel to the left, forcing the concept bike to literally fly off of the wall it was using as some sort of ramp; flying closer and closer as Michel suddenlt lifts up the front of the bike’s wheel as it smashes straight into the Bat Pricher’s face!

A loud, painful screech echoes throughout the place as the Bat Pricher is seen crash falling to the ground below along with Michel, holding the girl tightly against his chest while steering the bike at certain angles, keeping a solid eye only to rev the throttle all of a sudden, causing the engine to roar like a thunderous lion as the wheels touches and crashes through a wall of 1 of the many ruined buildings; causing the building to collapse as he himself comes riding out of the building before getting buried underneath,

“You okay..?” Michel asks the little girl with concern as the latter shakingly nods her head; a fatherly smile forms on Michel’s face as he gently let the girl step off of the bike before he steps off of the bike as well, getting a clear view of the place for the first time; the look of horror writes on his face upon seeing the state Singapore is in, along with probably the entire world,

“Dear god... Please... Let my wife be alive... Let her be okay...” Michel prays to himself before suddenly turning his head around, hearing debris rumbling as the Bat Pricher slowly comes crawling out, glaring in anger behind its visor as it stares at the both of them; Michel instinctively stands in front of the girl, ready to use his own body as a shield to protect the girl,

“The girrrrrrl... Give herrrrr to me..!”
“Not while there is still life inside of my body!” Michel shots back, anger clearly in his voice while standing in front of the girl, he looks down at the girl with a reassuring smile,

“Stay here, get behind the bike and hide okay..?” Michel asks the girl who nods yes as she quickly walks around and hides behind the bike, watching as Michel walks forward to the Bat Pricher, his left hand reaching into his jean’s pocket upon pulling out the small, green power cell, holding it firmly in his hand,

“My old Blitz gear may be destroyed, and I do not remember what has happened to me in 2009... But you laid the wrong finger on an innocent...” Michel calls out calmly while looking at the power cell in his hand before focusing his attention at the Bat Pricher, glaring in complete anger,

“...You will face the devil’s horns..! HENSHIN!” Michel shouts it out loud as he stretches his right arm up straight above his left shoulder along with holding the power cell close to his left side, he swings his right arm around in a letter C motion, causing an open belt to solidify around his waist; he then moves his left hand up a bit and then to the right, finishing the letter G in the air followed by slotting the power cell into the open belt buckle as it closes up right away,

“Gaia’s Summoning... GAIA!” the belt cries out as strange lining suddenly crawls over Michel’s skin, followed by Michel screaming it out in a painful rage as black sludge like material crawls over his body as it solidifies into a black under suit, followed by a green glow that washes over him as it becomes completely solid, turning into green colored armor as red bug eyes lights up on his helmet along with a red scarf wrapping around his neck and flowing in the wind.

Looking down at himself, a smirk crosses his lips as he sees how his armor is styled, armored plating covering his shins and thighs as it resembles the element of water, Nigo meets Faiz styled armor covers his chest as it resembles the element of earth; looking at his arms he sees that his arm gauntlets and his shoulders are designed to resemble the element of fire, he brings his hands up to his helmet upon feeling the stag beetle like horns on his helmet feeling like the waving torrents of the element of air.

Both the Bat Pricher and the little girl look in both amazement and fear at the new Rider standing in front of them, the latter examining and flexing his muscles while refeling in his new found strength and power,

“Who arrrrrrre you!?”
“Who I am..? Just call me Masked Rider... GAIA!” Gaia calls out as he extend his right hand out front and keeping his left hand close to his side; he suddenly releases a cry of rage as he charges at the Bat Pricher..!

-Battle Theme Gaia: “Innocence” by Disturbed-

His red bug eyes shining brightly, yet dangerously, Gaia charges at the Bat Pricher only to ram his left fist straight into the machined beast’s guts, the latter staggers at the sudden amount of force the blow has as the momentum has him completely stunned before dropping onto it’s knees; Gaia suddenly smashes his right knee under the Pricher’s chin, ramming it onto its back with force, the impact almost enough to break bones as the Pricher suddenly spreads its arms, gliding over the ground before hitting it as it suddenly takes off into the air; cackling a hollow, almost computerized laughter that pierce through bones.

Glaring behind his bug eyes, Gaia crosses his arms before his chest, only for his arms to ignite in green flames as he hurls them against the Bat Pricher only to witness the beast avoiding the attack; cackling like a crazed maniac it starts to flap its wings at the speed of sound, blasting off sonic waves down at it’s foe, Gaia bends through his knees a bit only to dodge out of the way of the blasts, almost as if he is skiing through water instead of land as he rather gracefully avoid each and every attack before stomping his foot hard to the ground, causing a large bit of rock to suddenly lift up as he punches with all of his might the boulder into the air, hitting the Bat Pricher right in the chest and causing it to crash down to the ground.

A large cloud of dust covers the area after the Bat Pricher was knocked down to the ground by the massive boulder hurled at it, as the Bat Pricher slowly crawls out of the crater it created it suddenly shields its face with its wings as a strong, powerful wind blows away the dust and sand around him, followed by a swift punch hitting it square in the face as another hand grabs hold of the beast by it’s neck.

Glaring, Gaia lifts the Bat Pricher up by it’s neck like a rag doll as it grabs hold of the beast’s left arm as he pulls his own arm back; the horrifying screams of pain surround the area as bones break, skin tears and metal shreds, followed by a mixture of blood and oil squirting out of the wound caused by the Rider. The Bat Pricher looks at it’s missing left wing while still screaming it out in pain only to get thrown away by the Rider against a wall, the force of the impact being strong enough to topple the foundation of the ruins down on the beast; only for Gaia to witness the Bat Pricher bursting out of the rubble, still bleeding blood and oil as it pants in rage against him.

A high, deafening shriek echoes from it’s half mouth as Gaia suddenly covers the sides of his helmet, trying to protect his hearing from the noise but to no avail as the Pricher comes charging in, swiping with it’s free arm as sparks erupt from Gaia’s chest, followed by a powerful blow from it’s demonic looking legs, flooring the Rider to the ground followed by stomping it’s clawed hoof down on top of the Rider’s chest armor, causing the latter to gasp out loudly,

“Damn you Rrrrrrrriderrrrr..!” Bat Pricher growls enraged as it grabs hold of Gaia’s scarf tightly, followed by pulling back as Gaia starts to gasp for air, bringing his fingers between the fabric and his neck to try and prevent his flow of oxygen getting cut off but to no avail as the Pricher starts to laugh out loudly in it’s computerized voice.

Feeling his heart beating slower and slower, his eyes slowly rolling into the back of his head, Gaia musters all of his strength to his arms and legs, as he manages to grab hold of the Pricher’s arm with both his hands before twisting the arm clockwise, shattering the bone structure inside as the Pricher screams it out once more in pain, trying desperately to pull his only arm away but to no avail as it discovers its arm being held in an earth shattering deadlock; Gaia growls it out in rage himself as he swings his left leg up against the beast’s back, literally kicking the Pricher off and over him along with tearing it’s arm off at the elbow joint.

Panting heavily, Gaia slowly gets up on his feet while throwing the arm away, watching in pure rage and anger at the Bat Pricher who struggles to get back up; he loosens the scarf around his neck and takes a deep breath to fill his body with oxygen once more, he slowly marches over to the beast as he grabs hold of it by it’s legs.

Gritting his teeth, Gaia suddenly lifts the Bat Pricher up only to throw it up high into the air, hearing the beast holler in fear as all he does is watch, calculating and timing before bringing his hand down to his belt buckle, pressing down on a button that is connected to his power cell, the latter shining a deep emerald green light,

“Gaia’s... Maximum Charge...” his belt calls out as Gaia summons all of the strength his body contains into his legs, crouching he suddenly dashes off forward, literally surfing over the dust, sand and rubble like it is water he suddenly jumps up a bit as the earth below cracks open and launches boulders into the air; Gaia jumps on each and every floating boulder while lifting himself up higher and higher into the air before jumping off of the last one and straight to the Pricher. Crossing his arms closely to his chest, they suddenly ignite in flames as he swings his arms to the sides, launching the flaming X towards the foe as he himself makes a flying dragon kick, right leg fully extended as his bug eyes light up red,

“GAIA’S KICK!” Gaia shouts it out from the top of his lungs as a powerful gust of air propels him forward, as the remaining elements of fire, earth and water all line up in front of him, he crashes through the 3 elements before hitting the Pricher dead center in the gut; the sheer force of the momentum being more then enough to smash them both to the ground below.

They crash into the very ground as a large, G shaped crater forms, Gaia suddenly somersaults away from the foe only to crouch down on his knees a bit, his right hand stretched out front while his left hand is at his side; inside the crater the Bat Pricher suddenly starts to shake uncontrollably as every atom inside of it gets pulled apart and turned around, with energy suddenly cracking over it’s body as the power of the 4 elements becomes too much for it’s body to handle, it screams it out in pain only for it’s entire body to explode, as Masked Rider Gaia himself slowly stands up straight while facing away from the explosion with his head glued to the ground and his scarf dancing in the wind,

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!”

A screaming voice suddenly rings into his ears as Gaia turns around, seeing how a cheetah like beast is holding the little girl in it’s grasps,

“LET HER GO!” Gaia screams at the beast as he makes a run for it, only for to suddenly getting scratched several times in the back, the cries of pain echoes from behind his helmet as he drops down to the ground; desperately he tries to get back up but feels every muscle of his body burning, he only manages to lift up his head upon watching how the little girl gets taken away by both the cheetah and wolf like Prichers,

“No... Stop...” Gaia calls out, but to no avail as he tries to reach out his hand, watching how they disappear into the horizon; he slowly forces his body to stand up on his hands and knees unaware of being watched by a cracked, red bug eye...

Whoa ho ho. This is nice! Is kr blitz an old fic of yours somewhere?

Heh, well to answer your question; Kamen Rider Blitz is a Rider from an unfinished fanfic of a friend of mine over at another forum (Tokusatsu-Fusion): his fic is called Kamen Rider Volt. The reason why I included or mentioned Blitz in the fic is because the Riders are the same character. Plus I wanted to repay him since he made me Kamen Rider Blitz in his fic.

Also glad to hear, or read in this case, that you like the fic so far ^_^
