Authors notes: This is a Kamen Rider/Masked Rider fanfic I have been writing, re-writing, planning, changing, etc and whatnot ever since the days of JHA... This fanfic happens in the universe of a Masked Rider fanfic of a friend of mine.
Also this fic, while so far only 2 episodes long, contains some strong language (basically cussing and such, blame it on me having watched too much The Osbournes a few years ago heh); Episode 2 however contains mentioning of a Rider from a fanfic of a friend of mine, to which I decided to pay him back by including said Rider in this fic (it helped a lot that both characters are one and the same).
Okay, now I am babbling lol... Onwards with the fic! Enjoy reading it ^_^ and if you review, c&c is more then welcome

The year is 2009...
A well hidden, underground laboratory just underneath the regular basement floor of Priche HQ; where scientists of all ages and both genders are busy installing software on their hardware while at the same time monitoring the status changes of “Project Multiple”.
In a corner, where the lights are turned off; a pair of violet bug shaped lights can be seen alight, along with white neon light lining traveling down on a rather grayish looking armor placed on a black suit together with a white scarf.
“Project Multiple, aka Codenamed Gaia...” a scientist speaks into a microphone behind one of the controls against the armored being in the corner,
“...Are you ready for the next level..?” the same scientist asks as the armored being, codenamed Gaia, slowly nods; the many scientists each look at one another as they also nod before typing down the commands on the consoles, watching with sole interest as the readings of Gaia slowly start to build up.
Just then, a man dressed in a business suit walks into the room to watch the upgrading happen,
“Tell me...” he addresses one of the main scientists behind the project, a glee yet stern look on his face,
“...How is our prototype Rider holding out..?”
“So far, so good mister Ping Hui sir...” the main scientist, an elderly man nearing the age of 80 or 90 yet looking no older then 60 or 70 with pearl white strands running through his slickly combed black hair and glasses in front of his eyes along with a red scarf wrapped around his neck, answers the man in suit,
“...So far the nano-bot system is handling the new flow of energy perfectly”
“Excellent... Crank it up” Ping Hui demanded, much to the shock of the main scientist who looks at him with big eyes,
“...But sir, if we do it hastily, then we will overload the system... Gaia is still a human being and...”
“Silence! I do not care, I want Project Multiple online and ready for combat against those outdated Riders and those GERMS by tomorrow!” Ping Hui demanded, his eyes glaring with icy venom and anger; however the old guy stands up in defiance to him,
“I will not crank up the energy flow, sir... You will have to kill me first before killing that poor young man!”
“...So be it...” Ping Hui answers with a dark smirk on his face, as a loud bang echoes through the room and the old scientist looks in panic before his body starts shaking.
Staggering, he takes a few steps back before seeing the bullet hole straight through his left chest. Time seems to be standing still as everyone looks at the scientist and their boss,
“...I don’t take lightly to defiance... Don’t forget that it was my corporation which dug your body out of the grave... Mister Peter Dijkhuizen” Ping Hui says, calm yet deadly, as he pulls the trigger a second time with the bullet going through the old guy’s head.
A last gasp is all what the scientist releases before collapsing to the floor, dead with the blood oozing out of the 2 bullet holes; the armored warrior looks at the dead body as the name triggered something within him.
“...G... Grandfather..?” the armored warrior asks himself in a whisper; unaware of Ping Hui aiming the gun at the remaining scientists while anger is slowly building up throughout his newly constructed system,
“Okay... Now... Crank up the transfer or else join him!” Ping Hui shouts threatening, as all the remaining scientists’ starts to type in the control commands on their control panels, accelerating the energy flow into Gaia; the readings growing quicker and quicker by the second.
“Yes... Yes... Yes...” Ping Hui gloats as the readings rises, unaware of sudden cracks of lightning dancing up and around the armored warrior,
“No... No... No... NOOOOO!” Gaia suddenly screams it out in pain as the nano-bots inside of him slowly becomes damaged by the sudden strain of energy.
The lights above their heads starts to flicker and snap violently as Gaia clutches his helmet with his hands, dropping down onto his knees while his screams of pain and rage continues to echo throughout the place.
The monitors on the controls as well start to flash a dangerous red as the system starts to overload,
“...What is going on!?”
“Sir... It is his system, it is overloading and feeding off of him and gaaah!” one of the scientists suddenly screams it out in pain as a gloved hand is wrapped around his throat, only to get pressed shut with blood spurting out before falling dead to the ground.
Eyes in shock; Ping Hui and the others present in the room look in dead horror at a completely black colored warrior with orange neon lining on his armor and menacing red eyes staring at them; it slowly removes the shredded scarf from his neck before kneeling at the body of the murdered old scientist. It’s body language telling that he is in a state of shock and sadness.
“...Grandfather..?” Gaia whispers as he slowly lifts the body and hugs it close against his armored form, leaving stains of blood on him who gets absorbed; he gently removes the scarf from the dead scientist before wrapping it around his own neck and stands up. The bug eyes on his helmet lighting up a second time in a grayish color as he glares at the murderer, only to scream it out in rage and pain with the orange lining multiplying and changing into a dark grayish color while his armor takes on a more horned, demonic look before charging in for the kill.
“...Don’t just stand there... KILL IT!” Ping Hui demands only to duck quickly from a slicing arm, as it cuts through the controls with ease, like a knife cutting through butter.
One of the scientists looks with fear in her eyes as she draws out a gun and takes aim, firing off a bullet which ricochets right off of Gaia’s armor; the latter glares at the woman over his shoulder as it unleashes a terrible, frightening howl before charging at the woman and slamming his leg through the woman’s waist in a round house kick, literally decapitating the young scientist from the waist up.
“...Impossible... What IS that thing!?”
“That sir... Is your Masked Rider... We have made his armor to be like blades, especially the arms and legs” another scientist answers his boss who in shock looks at how the blood gets absorbed into the armor; Gaia slowly and menacingly turns around as it roars in complete bloodlust as he charges into the attack, smashing his right leg into the gut of another scientist who is foolish enough to stand in his way only to jump and slice his left leg through said scientist!
Glaring, roaring in rage, Gaia marches forward slowly to the murderer; his hands balled up into fists as from the lines of his arm gauntlets energy blades spring forward, slicing wildly around him as many more scientists falls to the ground, screaming in pain as arms are getting sliced off with ease.
Slowly Ping Hui backs away from his own creation, who is slowly coming closer and closer to him while leaving dead bodies in his wake; Gaia suddenly shoots out his left hand and wraps it around Ping Hui’s throat while bringing his right fist back, a low growl emitting from behind the helmet,
“Gaia’s... Chaos...” Gaia says threatening as he bring his fist back and smashes it forward, only to stop at a mere inch in front of Ping Hui’s face and letting go of his throat; his body trembling and shaking as Gaia staggers back and looks at his hands only to grab hold of his helmet and drops down on his knees, screaming it out in pain as electricity dances all over his body like crazy.
At that exact moment, the security and higher OPS of PRICHE comes marching in with specially built shotguns; each one dressed in blackish blue with sunglasses and caps along with the logo of PRICHE embedded on the right breast pockets, they all take aim,
“DRIVE IT BACK!” Ping Hui demands as his special unit nods and opens fire on Gaia, the bullets hitting and shocking the masked rider as it gets driven back to an open capsule in the corner; once entering, one of the remaining scientists presses a button as the glass capsule closes and fluid enters the chamber rapidly, trapping the struggling rider and forcing it into suspended animation.
“You alright sir..?” one of the OPS asks his boss, who nods a bit shakingly, as said OPS helps Ping Hui back up on his feet; the latter glares at the Rider trapped in the liquid filled capsule, forced to rest,
“...Dispose of that... Failure...”
“Sir, wait..!” 1 of the surviving scientists calls out to Ping Hui while cautiously stepping over the dead bodies of his colleagues; his silverish hair short and neat upon coming face to face with the president,
“What do you want, Dr. N..?”
“Sir... With your permission, I want to try and stabilize Gaia’s nano-bots sir”
“Hmmm...” Ping Hui answers as his thoughts starts to progress through the thick clouds, would it be worth the money, or should he just terminate the project and start anew.
Minutes turns into hours as time seems to pass before Ping Hui shakes his head in annoyance, he looks at the old scientist,
“Very well... But I am only giving you 1 Month... If you fail, then it is lights out for this project!” with that, Ping Hui turns around on his heels and walks out of the place with his own special OPS following suit.
Sighing a relieve, Dr. N looks behind him to the capsule with the trapped Rider inside as he cautiously makes his way over to him; his hand slowly touching the glass as he looks through the glass,
“Do not worry young man, I will do all that I can to fix your problems, and restore what needs to be restored of your memories so that you can live in peace”
Looking down, he sighs again before looking at the dead body of his colleague and friend Peter Dijkhuizen,
“...And I will continue my work to find the evidence I need to get that bastard send up the river, this I promise to you both...”
Slowly he makes his way out of the room, filled with the carnage and smell of the death that hangs in the air; shaking his head slowly in the hopes that the lost souls will make their way to Heaven, even if he isn’t that religious.
His hand reaches to the light switch as he casts a last look at the place before turning the lights off, intending to try and fix the fatal flaw in the nano-bots caused by Ping Hui’s carelessness as the lights are turned off and leaves the room; not knowing of the gray eyes of Gaia lightening up and a red drop of blood slipping past where the eye and helmet connects...
The tear of a planet...
Years have passed ever since that day, and the world is still crumbling in decay.
People everywhere struggle desperately to survive in a world where the skies are blood red, and deceases rules the places; but each day it is also a constant battle for survival against a group of rogue creatures long thought to be destroyed, but having survived the battles of the Riders long ago.
The one place in the entire world where things are far more worser is Singapore, the place where it all started and where it all ended.
What was once a community of welfare and beauty; now lays the destruction and dead of buildings and those who didn’t survive the day of reckoning.
Many has perished on that dreadful day, with those who survived are now on the run; hiding in exposed bunkers and struggling to survive in a strange world, now plagued by creatures and man made monsters from a time the place had protectors.
But they are long gone, and in their place has risen a new evil; a group who calls themselves The Horsemen. Each glad in a much darker colored armor that resembles the armor worn by the 4 saviors.
Each of them holds command over the monsters, Unknown, GERMS and a new race of mechanical beasts called Prichers; they all have but one goal, to hunt, track down the survivors, eliminate the weak and secure the strong for experiments and for creating the perfect race.
However, each bunker has its own defenses...
“Come on, hurry!” one of the people guarding the underground bunkers shouts loudly at a family on the run from a group of half human, half mechanical beasts; the youngest of the family suddenly trips over a small stone in the sand as it let’s go of the father’s hand, tumbling over the ground a bit before crying out in pain and in fear as the machined freaks come in closer,
“Jun-Lé!” the mother screams as she tries to let go of her husband’s tight grip to save their young daughter, but gets dragged along in order to reach the entrance to the save haven,
“Come on ma’am, there is no time!”
“But... But my baby! Please save my baby!” the mother pleads to the soldier who looks in concern to the desperate looking family before running out, aiming his MP5-K at the targets upon unleashing a storm of metal, taking caution to aim at the weakness of the things, the human flesh.
Each bullet, specially modified during the arrival of the Child Lords, hits the Prichers with deadly accuracy as each of them scream it out in pain and backs off; giving the soldier the much needed time to make the dash, he picks up the girl quickly and runs back to the entrance just as the Prichers slowly start to regain their bearings.
Hissing or howling out loudly, the beasts makes a run after the soldier who desperately tries to get the young girl to safety; but sadly the wolf styled Pricher shoots out it’s left mechanical claw, the metal piercing through the armor and skin of the soldier who cries it out in pain and drops the girl to the ground with him falling down as well,
“...Mis... Mister..?”
“Go... RUUN!” the soldier cries it out in pain as the girl, with tears in her eyes, makes the run to the entrance where her parents are waiting for her; the soldier gets dragged closer to the beasts as they all attack him like hungry savages, tearing off armor and clothes and pieces of skin while at the same time the girl runs into her mother’s arms,
“Jun-Lé...”
“Mommy... Daddy... I’m scared” the girl sobs as her parents holds her close against them, all the while a second soldier presses some buttons for the doors to close and the elevator travels down the ground; the father looks at the soldier,
“I am sorry sir, but he is a goner” the soldier simply answers the man, as if being able to read his mind while having noticed the scar on the guy’s neck; he knows that the father is not able to talk and yet the soldier knew what he wanted to ask.
Outside of the bunker, the young soldier continues to scream in pain while desperately shooting his weapon at them till it makes a clicking sound.
“Ohh... FUUUCK!” he shouts it out in pain as his right arm gets torn off by the jaws of a cheetah like Pricher, the blood spurting out like crazy with his screaming echoing through the air. The third Pricher, a scorpion looking one, reveals a sickening smile on it’s half human face upon swinging a mechanized tail down the screaming soldier’s mouth, injecting a paralyzing venom into his system as within seconds the soldier goes limb and the bleeding slowly stops upon getting dragged away from the place.
As all the while being monitored by a bright, red bug eye from up high; as a dark, bug like shadow watches before walking away from the place, following the group of Prichers to their lair...
A long, cold and damp hallway, seemingly stretches on into the infinity of darkness; as on the walls many large incubation tubes lay filled with the shredded bodies of humans, being kept alive but barely by the strange liquid they float in, as in some of the tubes mechanical arms are hard at work adding animal like, mechanical limbs.
A dark shadow, with an eye of a bright red with cracks running through it can be seen walking through the hallway followed closely by the group of Prichers who are seen dragging the shredded remains of the soldier early on; they stop in front of an empty tube as the dark shadow turns around, its armor partly revealing in the dim light as it reveals a blackish color.
“Cast him in!” the voice, partly human and partly computerized sounding, demands threatening as the Prichers nods in obedience; casting a final glare at the dead soldier they’ve dragged along the way before throwing it into the empty tube as the dark shadow closes it with haste before pressing some buttons on the controls.
A loud hissing can be heard as oxygen and a strange liquid gets pumped into the tube, followed by wires shooting down from the top and inserting into the dead soldier’s skin; blasting jolts after jolts of electricity into the body as sudden scream of horror flows out of the soldier’s mouth; his eyes jolting open and his back arching as a pulse races through the remains of his body,
“Excellent...” the armored shadow proclaims, emotionless, as it watches the mechanical arms entering the tube, each carrying machined parts for to patch up another fallen victim and joining it into their growing numbers; a sudden red flashing goes off throughout the place as the armored shadow looks up in annoyance,
“What do my brethren want now...” he asks himself before looking at the Prichers, his armor slowly cracking and fading away; as a bright blue light shines at them,
“...You 3... Watch this specimen closely and report to me once it is finished..!”
“Grrrrttggg... Yesss... Ziirrrrr” the scorpion Pricher answers the stranger, its voice sounding like a damaged computer unit mimicking a hollow female voice; as all 3 bow down before the dark shadow who marches past them, the loud clanking of metal on top of metal echoes through the empty hallway, creating an eerie and haunting sound that lingers even after the figure has disappeared from sight...
Where the world is destroyed and dominated by the strangest of creatures and beasts, down under the ground the bunkers remain hidden; where those who have lost everything are trying their best at rebuilding what was once their proud civilization.
But diseases still plague the survivors who are all located to specialized sections of the bunkers, now acting as hospitals for the growing numbers of people plagued with unexplainable symptoms like black lined scarring on their skin and feverish high temperatures that leave the medics and even soldiers baffled on what the cause could be.
Further down the bunkers, the so called metropolis square, those deemed fit enough are trained and raised to be able to fight; to protect their growing community from The Horsemen and their forces along with being trained to get out and rescue any other survivor in the upper cities.
Bordering just against the square lies the HQ of the bunker, where inside people are rushing to maintain a constant supply of food, energy and even specially designed bullets to fight against them.
“Sir... Sir..!” one of the soldiers calls out to a guy standing behind several monitors, overlooking the upper city in case any survivors are out there; he slowly turns his head to look over his shoulder, smiling a little,
“At ease” he says calmly before turning around completely, watching how the woman salutes him before gaining her composure,
“Thank you sir, I came to report that we are running out of ammo fast”
“I am already aware of that, Jiahua and that... That thing..! Are out to gather new batches” the guy says with hateful spite in his voice,
“But Gregory, sir... That thing is your siste...”
“THAT CLONE IS NOT MY SISTER!” Gregory yells it out in rage before he as well regains his composure; eying the young female soldier, who jumped back in shock,
“I... I am sorry sir”
“Is okay, at ease soldier”
“Yes sir..!” the soldier replies as she salutes and walks away, Gregory salutes as well before turning around with his head hanging,
‘I will never forgive you for breaking our parents promise... Sarah’ his thoughts tells him as he looks at a hanger containing a picture of his sister and parents, a picture where they looked like a happy family and where she still had black hair...
It is a cold, stiff room where the smell of rotting carcasses clearly poisons the very air one breathes like a deadly toxic.
“How are your forces doing... Famine?” a voice speaks from the shadows, sounding male and young, but low and nearly devilish; as the half man, half machined body of the Horsemen member Famine walks out of the shadows with a blue light emitting from it’s mechanized eye that reveals his body in the afterglow.
“My forces are growing by numbers each day, Death...” Famine answers with his part human, part computerized voice void of emotions to his leader and fellow brother; all the while bowing down.
“If your forces are growing by the day... Then why haven’t they breached through those human cattle’s defenses..?” a third voice asks from the shadows, a young voice which has a hint of being ancient in it; this causes Famine to look up and glare into the direction the voice came from,
“You should hold your tongue, War..!” Famine spat in anger,
“ENOUGH!” Death’s voice bellows in anger, causing both Famine and War to cower in the shadows of where they stand,
“If I may be so bold...” a 4th voice begins as a digital map suddenly emerges in the middle of them,
“...But it seems like a human and something, familiar... Are heading to what was once PRICHE HQ”
“Oh do not worry about those 2, Pestilence...” Famine began, a vile smile forming on his half deformed face as he watches the 2 bleeps walking,
“...For I have a Pricher who roams nearby that place”
“Then summon it... Alert it to their presence!” Death demands before silence falls and the blue glow fades away from the place, while the heavy clanking on metal continues to echo throughout the room,
“As you wish, Death...”
The skies, a blood red color; it has been that color for years now, giving the world of today a look of dead with the ruins of buildings the look of ghost towns.
All but one building, devastated the most, is or was once known as PRICHE HQ, where Raiden and the other new Riders were built to serve in the war against the Childs and the so called Gods; a small light can be seen moving around the lower regions of the ruins.
“I know I used to work here, but this place still gives me the creeps” a woman’s voice speaks up as 2 people are seen walking through what appears to be a long hallway that leads to wherever they are heading of to; occasionally some dust and small rubble falls off of either the wall or ceiling while a flashlight is all that illuminates the road ahead,
“I know it does Sarah, this place is still filled with the sense of unorthodox experimenting” a male’s voice answers the woman, named Sarah, while shining the flashlight around the place to get a clearer view; as through many of the open cracks different rooms are visible, rooms that used to be laboratories where either experiments or weapons and Riders were being made.
The journey through the long hallway seems to be never ending until the guy aims his flashlight at half an open door with a tag, partly covered in dust; a smile creeping over his face,
“We’ve made it Sarah, look!”
“I see it Jiahua, can we please get the ammo and get out of here..?” Sarah asks the man, Jiahua, with fear in her voice as they enter the room stocked with ammo of all kinds; yet a strange cold wind seems to be seeping through the cracks, like the ghosts of forgotten memories that send shivers up and down Sarah’s spine.
Jiahua only smiles a bit as he turns his head, looking at the red haired woman while shining his flashlight at her, seeing the hints of fear in her eyes before he turns around again and shines the light back into the room; revealing what is left of the special ammunition that is still present,
“From the looks of it, this may just be our last visit to this place, so calm down Sarah” Jiahua answers her while walking further into the room; the wooden floor creaking under the weight of each footstep; Sarah continues to look with fear in her eyes as sweat starts to crawl over her skin slowly as she looks around while slowly walking forward.
Unaware that both are being watched by nearly 6 to 8 digital camera lenses from the darkness as a shadowy figure brushed past them swiftly, causing Sarah to turn around and look into the direction of where the sound came from, she slowly aims the flashlight into the darkness to see what it was she heard. As Jiahua turns his head around and looks at Sarah himself, wondering why she is standing still,
“You okay Sarah..?” he calls out to her as she turns around looking at him, managing to show a small smile as she nods a bit,
“Yeah, I am okay... Just thought I’ve heard something”
“Could be possible, since this is an old building ready to crumble at any given moment...” Jiahua answers as his head turns to face into the room before entering, Sarah follows closely behind him yet still being unable to shake off the feeling of actually being watched from behind.
“...So it is possible that you might be hearing things that aren’t there; oh and look out where you place your steps before you fall down through the floor” Jiahua calls and warns the woman who slowly enters the room herself, taking careful steps as each step causes the floor to crack louder and louder while they both walk further into the room filled with what’s left of the special ammo and strange looking spider webs that covers the place.
Shining her flashlight up all over the spider webs, unknown shivers continue to travel throughout Sarah’s skin, the feeling of a haunting dread continues to follow her every step like the ghosts of her gruesome past being ready to fade through the walls of the death and into the living; her eyes continues to dart left and right, finding it hard for her eyes to get used to the darkness that seems to be playing tricks on her mind.
Shakingly, sweating, she takes another step on the rotting floor only to feel all of her weight suddenly shifting to her right leg; a sense of misplacement suddenly flows through her as she looks down, only to see the floor under her foot cracking and breaking open completely.
“JIAHUAAA!” she screams at the top of her lungs, but it came too late as her balance fades away and her body falls down the now hole of the floor; falling several feet down and even crashing through some rotting floors here and there before hitting a hard concrete floor with a loud enough, crashing thud and cracks!
“Sarah..?” Jiahua asks as he slowly turns around, only to see the gaping hole in the floor; his eyes widening as he runs cautiously to the opening, shining his light down to try and find the young red head, “...SARAH!!!”
Sarah...
Sarah...
She could hear her name ringing clearly in her ear while squirting her closed eyes a bit, slowly regaining conscious only to stiffen several moans of pain from releasing her lips; the feeling of all of her bones having broken and stabbing out of her skin overwhelms her while she slowly opens her eyes, trying to see where she is, but all she can see is a faint dim light in an otherwise darkened room.
“SARAH!” she hears her name much more clearly as light shines directly into her eyes from above, revealing strange black markings or drawings on her skin along with revealing some of the broken, blood stained bones piercing out of her skin.
Sickening cracking starts to echo through the dark room as Sarah screams it out in pain, while every broken piece of the bones in her body turns to dust along with regrowing new pieces of bone to replace the old along with the pierced out bones bending and pushing into her skin, causing new tears to appear in her skin with the blood creeping out as every nerve ending gets cut in half before reattaching themselves once the bones are back in place and the skin slowly heals up the cuts, holes and tears.
Raising her head up to look into the light, she faintly sees the shape of Jiahua who’s shining the flashlight’s light down to her, through pained breaths she calls out to him above,
“Y... Yeah I’m fine... Just some broken bones...”
“Hang on, I’m coming down!” Jiahua calls back down to her.
Minutes slowly slips away into the mauls of time, as Jiahua finally descends and touches the floor of the room where Sarah’s lying by the use of some cables he found upstairs. The pitch darkness greats them both as he helps the young woman back up on her feet, both unaware of a faint light in the corner of the room and reddish eyes staring at them from the darkness itself.
“Thank you Jiahua” Sarah says to Jiahua after being helped standing back up on her healed legs, the latter nodding an appreciation before looking around, noticing the faint light in the corner,
“What is this place..?” he asks Sarah while shining the flashlight over the place, revealing many cobwebs covering not only the place, but many computer panels that are still at the place, most of which being destroyed years ago,
“I honestly don’t know...” Sarah answers with a look of confusion on her face, seeing what is in the room,
“Ping Hui never showed me this place before when I first came to work on Raiden and the others” her eyes continue to dart while walking around cautiously as they make their way to the dim light in the corner; flashlight shining to try and see what is causing the dim light upon seeing the shape of a large capsule, covered mostly in dust and a small computer plugged on the right of it.
Handing over his flashlight to the woman, Jiahua examines the small computer which seems to be in standby mode; Sarah herself wipes away a bit of the dust only to jump back and makes a faint noise, causing Jiahua to look at her,
“What’s wrong..?”
“I... Inside... Th... There’s a Rider inside..!” Sarah manages to stammer as Jiahua blinks at her in surprise, somewhere not believing the news; he addresses her firmly while turning to stand next to her and face her,
“Sarah, you and I both know that after the events of the Child Lords, the Gods and the Gale Cataclysm, the Riders died”
“B... But...” Sarah stammers before regaining her composure, “...Well then, if you are so certain, then look for yourself!”
Sighing, shaking his head he turns his head to look at the glass only for his eyes to grow wide upon seeing a grey, bug shaped eye staring through where Sarah has wiped away some of the dust,
“Unbelievable” was all that Jiahua could mutter as he starts to wipe away more of the dust from the capsule, slowly revealing more and more of the strange Rider inside the with clear liquid filled capsule.
Taking a few steps back, both Jiahua and Sarah are shocked yet amazed at seeing the Rider fully. With armor as black as coal on a black under suit, yet adorned with silverish, almost dark gray lining and spikes; the helmet adorned with dark gray horns and menacing gray bug eyes, giving the Rider a demonic appearance save for the red scarf wrapped around his neck.
“Could this be..?”
“Could what be..? Sarah?”
“When I was approached by Ping Hui to make my dream of making an army of Riders come true, he told me that he wanted to give making a Rider another try after his first attempt proved to be a failure...” Sarah answers as she slowly touches the outer glass casing of the capsule, unaware to both that the Rider’s fingers slowly wiggle a bit as if slowly awakening from a deep slumber,
“...But I never suspected that he would have kept this one around, I mean the first ones that came before Raiden were all failures and were all terminated”
“I see, well maybe we can find some kind of information on this Rider on the computer linked to this capsule” Jiahua answers as he focuses his attention to the small computer, pressing buttons randomly as the device flashes to live, revealing many different kind of files like schematics of the Rider’s system among other things,
“...Amazing...” Jiahua speaks loudly, “...I knew that Ping Hui was a genius, but this Multiple Core System is unlike anything I have seen before”
“What do you mean..?” Sarah asks curiously as Jiahua plugs in a small USB stick into the pc, uploading all of the information,
“What I mean is that unlike with Gale, Pegasus, Raiden and the others; Ping Hui designed this system more on Arch’s cells... This Rider...” Jiahua says while looking up at the Rider in the liquid, “...This Rider’s system consist out of nano-bots, crawling through his body instead of the body being remade into a cyborg”
“So he is basically a Nano Cyborg..? A Nano-borg?”
“To say it simple..? Yes” Jiahua answers her while examining the schematics, discovering that there are several design errors to the system along with different kind of solutions to them, few of which having been marked off as if they’ve already been dealt with.
Looking over his shoulder, Sarah stares in amazement at the speed that Jiahua is working, deciphering strange descriptions while uploading all the data; unaware as within the shadows, small noises can be heard like paper being stepped on, a bunch of red eyes seems to be glowing in the never ending darkness of the place while slowly and silently making it’s way to them like a hungry predator stalking its prey.
Pressing the buttons feverishly, Jiahua suddenly retracts his hands from the consoles as on the screen a video diary starts playing; showing an old male scientist working alone in the room on equipment badly damaged by events of long ago.
~“Day 17...” the voice of the scientist speaks into the microphone, “...I am having the feeling that I am coming closer to finding a solution to fix Gaia’s system, and it didn’t came a moment too soon since his cells, while now stable within the liquid, are being eaten away by the nano-bots”
The camera zooms out a bit before zooming in much more closely to the sleeping Rider, where mechanical arms inside of the capsule are busy making some modifications to the belt,
“By altering the belt, I hope to at least give the system a different kind of power source... I must hurry up, since time is running out...”
The old scientist looks into the camera with a look of worry and determination while he is busy uploading the new schematics into the computer connected to the capsule,
“With time running out, I hope to fix this young man’s body and his memories before this damned system kills him... Before I can even find some kind of evidence to arrest Ping Hui for crimes he has done against human nature...” the scientist says on the video before walking out of the room, shutting off most of the power apart from the capsule as the video screen starts to go static before going dark.~
Eyes glued to the screen, both Jiahua and Sarah continue watching after the short video diary file ended and a different file revealed itself; showing a blueprint of different altercations to the belt and energy source, unaware of thin mechanical spikes slowly rising up over their heads from the very shadows belonging to the realm darkness, examining the prey carefully before slowly retracting a bit into the realm of despair,
“This is amazing..!” Jiahua calls out loudly in glee as he examines the blueprints of the altercations for the belt, feeling like a kid in the candy shop as the information gets downloaded into the slotted USB stick before removing it,
“I must say, that this Doctor N person is very intelligent coming up with the idea of using power cells charged with the elements of Earth for a power source...” he says out loudly before looking directly at Sarah, who looks back at him with fear still reading in her eyes,
“...I mean with this kind of information, we should be able to make much more effective weapons to fight against them..!”
“That is fine Jiahua, but can we please get out of here..? There is something here that is giving me a lot of negative chills” Sarah answers a plea while hugging her shoulders with her hands, looking around the place and into the lurking darkness of the place before she focuses her attention to the mysterious Rider in the capsule, getting a much clearer look of the belt that appears to be finished yet not finished at the same time,
“...And what do we do about him..?”
“That Rider..? Well he is basically an old model, he is worthless...” Jiahua answers as he glares over his shoulder, looking at the capsule before looking back at the woman in front of him,
“Now let us get to top side and collect the remaining ammo, so that we at least can buy ourselves some extra time while developing new kind of weaponry”
Grinning from ear to ear, Sarah shakes her head and sighs at the given answer of Jiahua; the latter putting the cap back on the USB stick before putting the small device into one of the pockets of his coat, unaware of 8 red LEDS slowly going on in the darkness behind him. The lights slowly rises up, towering over Jiahua and glares down like a demonic entity ready to take full possession over it’s victim; Sarah’s pupils grow small as she sees it, fear shivering through her body as she tries to push it aside, seeing as a red glow washes over what appears to be metal blades in the darkness itself,
“JIAHUA... BEHIND YOU!” Sarah shouts as she grabs hold of Jiahua and pushes him aside, only to suddenly stagger herself as coldness starts to sweep over her body; shaking feverishly as her eyes look into the 8 red LEDS staring back at her, her body breaking out in a cold sweat as her knees starts to quiver under her weight, life slowly slipping out as numbness covers her senses, while hearing her name being called out loudly which slowly fades into mere whispers.
The ice cold grasp of Dead himself slowly grabs her in his grasp, while the thought of a mechanical laughter oddly enough echoes into her ears...
“SARAH... SARAH!” Jiahua screams at the woman, watching the life slowly fading out of her body by the 4 blades piercing through her; he flashes the flashlight into the direction of where the 4 blades and the 8 red LEDS are in the darkness; his eyes growing wide in terror at the sight in front of him, hardly not believing it despite having heard soldiers talking about the creatures that has been attacking the outside of the entrance to the underground bunkers.
Raising his ears a bit, his eyes dart a bit past the thing upon having thought that he heard something creaking open, only to duck his body to the ground as a sturdy glass door smashes straight against the unknown creature, knocking it away as Jiahua blinks his eyes upon having thought seeing a silverish gray blur ramming the glass door against the thing only to turn his head around upon hearing the walls crumbling down by an unknown amount of sheer force, leaving a large enough opening behind as light finally shines into the darkness,
“...What on Earth..?” Jiahua mutters surprised to himself before focusing his attention to his companion, the young redhead breathing heavy while lying in a puddle of her own blood as he rushes over to her side,
“Sarah! Oh gods wake up damnit!” Jiahua cusses in worry at Sarah as his fists pound the woman’s chest, causing her to cough loudly and her eyes slowly opening; her wounds slowly healing,
“Wh... What happened..?”
“I don’t know... Come on, we better get out of here” he tells her while slowly helping her back up on her feet and wraps her arm over his shoulder for support, slowly they make their way to the open hole in the wall while clearly hearing the battle going on outside of the room.
Roaring in complete anger, the demonic and chaotic looking Rider glares menacingly against the creature, who in the light looks like a heavily deformed human with half a mechanized skull with 8 glowing red LEDS acting as eyes and wiring running from the top and down through the skin. Both his arms replaced by mechanical claws at the elbow as pieces of it’s exposed chest are covered by metal plating that seems to be keeping the rotting flesh in place, 4 long with blood dripping blades attached to mechanical arms are sprouting out of it’s back while the thing is standing on what seems to be industrial robot arms and claws acting as legs and feet, piercing out of decaying skin along with metal spikes going in a sack like shape on the thing’s back with more pieces of skin draped over it coupled with wiring going through what remains of the thing’s once human body even going through the crotch area.
“Dear lords... A Spider Pricher!” Jiahua shouts in fear as Sarah opens her eyes completely, both staring at the hybrid thing as it turns around and glares at them; completely forgetting the Rider as it laughs an emotionless, hollow, computerized laughter before taking steps towards them.
Staring, the Rider growls it out in fury as it grabs hold of the bladed legs, only to pull the Spider Pricher back to him and lifts it up like a rag doll before throwing it against one of the still standing pillars; a sickening crack and tear echoes as the beast roars it out in emotionless pain, glaring down to see a tear in its side, the rotting stench of dead starts to slowly fill the air as it struggles to get back up only for the Rider to come running at him, followed by smashing his knee straight into the thing’s gut over and over again before grabbing it at its misshaped head, ramming his knee straight up the chin followed by grabbing hold of the thing’s blades.
A low, deadly chuckle seems to come from behind the Rider’s helmet as it starts to pull 2 of the bladed arms out slowly at first, enjoying the sudden cries of computerized pain coming from the Pricher before yanking with all of his might, literally tearing the 2 limbs off as oily liquid spurts out of where the arms once rested followed by ramming his leg in an all out powerful roundhouse kick against the thing’s head, kicking it straight through several pillars before crashing into a with steel enforced brick wall; causing the place to get covered by dust as both Jiahua and Sarah closes their eyes and covers their mouths.
Staring, the Rider’s eyes light up as if scanning through the dusty fog, trying to pinpoint the location of his target only to step aside from webbing getting shot at him; he quickly grabs hold of the web only to yank it with relatively ease, literally pulling the Spider Pricher out of hiding followed by smashing his right fist straight into the Spider’s face!
Howling it out in sheer pain, the Spider Pricher covers it’s face with its claws before lowering them, revealing 4 of its eyes shattered completely as it roars in anger; it throws out it’s remaining 2 blades only to witness the Rider easily dodging and swiping them away, followed by punching his fists like jackhammers into the Pricher’s chest, tearing away skin by skin followed by denting the metal plating hiding underneath the skin. Taking a few steps back, the Rider glares down at his foe as it struggles getting back up on it’s feet, glaring at him with half the working eyes before charging it’s 2 bladed legs against him.
Roaring out loudly in anger and rage himself, the Rider once again grabs hold of the bladed arms and rips them out in one go; the deafening scream echoes throughout the building as the Rider slices the bladed arms down, literally decapitating the hybrid beast’s arms off as even more oily liquid squirts out. The Rider glares down emotionlessly while watching the Pricher backing up before making a run for it, a soft chuckle escapes from the air vents in his helmet as the Rider throws the 2 blades like boomerangs, slicing the legs off through the knees as the Pricher falls down on the concrete, causing more dust to rise while trying to roll over onto it’s back.
It’s body squirming in pain as the dust slowly clears, seeing the Rider walking over to him slowly and menacingly as the grayish silver bug eyes light up; crouching through his knees, the Rider makes a quick dash only to jump up high into the room, bringing his arms and knees to his chest, as 10 more shadow clones of his form manifest and jump out of him, each circling around the downed foe,
“Gaia’s... CHAOS!!!” the Rider shouts it out in Azathoth’s own savage cry of fury, as each of the shadow clone comes crashing down at the foe, left leg stretched in a flying dragon kick upon hitting the Pricher, the latter screaming it out in pain as atom by atom in it’s body slowly starts to split; the Rider himself finally comes crashing down into the attack as well as his left foot hits the Pricher head on only to push himself back up into a somersault and comes back down crashing again, right foot extended and blazing with black, chaotic flames from the deepest bowls of the most vile and darkest of all pits; the kick tears through the Pricher like a hot knife going through butter with the latter screaming it out completely, it’s atoms finally tearing apart like a chain reaction as a great, blinding white light covers the area, followed by an all powerful explosion that shatters everything on it’s path, distorting the area as it does so.
Time seems to be moving at a snail’s pave as the blinding light slowly dies down, revealing the area to have changed completely; where once dust and decay was now are small patches of grass and some plant life growing along with a small creek in the epi-center of the explosion.
Their eyes in complete shock after opening, both Jiahua and Sarah witnesses the beauty of mother Nature after unknown time of a desert wasteland; neither being able to believe what they are seeing,
“My god...” Sarah began,
“...It is so beautiful”
“It truly is... But the question is what caused this..? And where’s the building..?” Jiahua answers as he looks around the place, while Sarah only shrugs before standing on her own strength once more with her wounds fully healed; her eyes suddenly dart forward to a dark shadow walking towards them,
“...Oh my god, Jiahua look!” she screams at the guy while pointing at the shadow walking to them before stopping in it’s tracks, followed by convulsing in pain as electricity seems to be washing all over his body before dropping down. Swallowing her fear away, Sarah rushes over to the stranger,
“Sarah, wait!” Jiahua calls out after her, but to no avail as he as well runs after the woman, both coming to a halt as they see the figure up closely; dressed in a black under suit, a red scarf around the neck, silverish gray armor with white lining covering it along with a black helmet with dim purple eyes and neon white, almost see through half circular horns they both take a step back,
“Is it that Rider who defeated that Spider Pricher..?”
“Seems to be... Come on Sarah, we better head back to base. There are sure to be more around this area” Jiahua commands as he turns around, making an attempt to walk away only to get halted by the woman,
“And what..? Leave him here..? This guy saved our fucking lives, so the least we can do is take him along with us to base, Jiahua!”
Sighing, shaking his head, Jiahua reluctantly turns around while muttering something under his breath, as he helps Sarah in picking the Rider up by his arms and carefully dragging him away from the place where life seems to be growing once more.
Both however being unaware that something else is spying on them from the shadows, as a pair of eyes stare at them walking away from the place,
“...Another Rider..? Death is not going to like this news...” the mechanical voice talks to itself before focusing it’s attention to the other pair of eyes; it’s own bluish eye’s glow giving a faint outlining of the other presence, resembling what appears to be some sort of winged creature,
“Follow them, don’t leave them out of your sight or else!”
“Yezzzzz... Mazzzzter Famine...” the winged creature answers as it bows before taking flight into the skies, leaving the Horseman, Famine, behind who is thinking things through on these new kind of revelations,
“Brother Death is definitely not going to like this...” Famine mutters to himself before turning around and fading away into the very shadows itself...

====
====
====
====
====
Sarah...
====
-Battle Theme Gaia Chaos Form: “Progenies of the Great Apocalypse” by Dimmu Borgir-
Roaring in complete anger, the demonic and chaotic looking Rider glares menacingly against the creature, who in the light looks like a heavily deformed human with half a mechanized skull with 8 glowing red LEDS acting as eyes and wiring running from the top and down through the skin.
====
