Some things of course are going to be cheaper over here because if they don't discount it a lot of people won't buy it. It's also supply and demand if EVERYBODY buys it in Japan and NOBODY buys it in US of course the **** will be cheaper. Besides just like with manga they get anime that will never be licensed

America is more likely to release straight to box set, whereas Japan will hold off unless it's really popular.

Now if it's manga granted I've seen loads of Naruto volumes for only 410 yen. But dvds are killer. tbh Japan is just over priced with it's media in general. Rider Dvds are like super expensive.

If you check the retail price is 4300 yen per dvd usually. Thats only 4 episodes! Do you need more proof or will you ignore the fact that dvds are way too costly in japan. Amiami is a store in japan so it has store retail prices. Not import prices.
