Only Japanese Blu-Ray releases will work on US PS3s. Japanese DVDs will not play.

Don't like the prices of the Japanese set? Then get the German ones. Problem solved.

I guess you can stop crossin your fingers. Toei do not release their own series in BluRay format -besides the movies- why they would do it for an adaptation? Not gonna happen IMO.

True. Still pisses me off that Toei hasn't gone bull blown Blu-Ray yet, especially since pretty much everyone in Japan has upgraded from DVD to Blu-Ray anyway.

Well, they've got a good reason for that. They know we europeans got R2 too, and with all the shitload of money I sent them every month they wanna be sure to not piss me off.

Seems I missed this one: There is a full box set version (Vol1-5) to be released on June 21, which comes with all five discs plus a bonus one.

It's pretty expensive though.
