KR Double Sound Gaia Memory Toys--with Faiz and Den-O?

I got my copy of Dengeki Hobby the other day, and in the Kamen Rider toy announcement they put up one for the "sound Gaia Memory" gashapon candy toys on sale November (315 yen each)

There's 5 in the selection: Cyclone, Joker, Heat, Metal, and...FAIZ and DEN-O? I'm going: WTF? Why those guys and not the Luna and Metal Gaia Memories? In fact, why other Riders at all?

At the moment, I'm thinking it's probably not related to the show at all and just there to re-use older/unused sound effects chips

I'll see if I can get my scanner working and post it when I can.

These candy ones are already up on the Amazon Japan site, as was mentioned in the link included in the following quoted post.

do those make the same sounds as the DX ones? and I cant read japanese how much do they cost?

Although we saw Luna in the very first episode, the way it took a while to introduce Luna Trigger proper meant that, or was a result of, Bandai wanting to spread out the Double product releases (ie. Trigger Magnum). This candy toy set probably fell victim to the same marketing strategy.

It also doesn't hurt that a) Heisei Rider anniversary stuff sells and b) these make an easy way to pad out the set and use the same clear black and red plastic of Joker and Heat Memories.

Maybe they will make Volume 2 or something for Luna & Trigger Memory :anime:.

It's very likely that they will, and either fill out the remaining spaces with more nonexistant Heisei Riders and/or upgrade form(s) if it takes that long. Maybe Dopant Gaia Memories, but I dunno.

Luna and Trigger are in the Gachapon version (which also has the Rider 1 & Decade Memories, as well as Cyclone and Joker.) I read that those will work with the DX Belt, though how they're going to fit one of those in a Gachapon capsule, I'd like to see.

I STILL don't get why they went with other Riders on those things instead of releasing all 6 Gaia Memories in one go.
