As far as I can tell its important that commercials don't imply the toys do things they actually don't. Like transform and fly on their own.

Seriously its part of laws or standards for advertisement toward kids. I got that info from the UDE rep back when I visited Pojo.com and someone asked why the Japanese YGO CM were cooler than the american ones. Basically you couldn't imply cards could summon actual monsters.

Its why you see plenty of fine line in ads like 'each sold separatly' or 'crates and barrels not for sell' or 'actual transformation time may vary' 'some assambly recquired' etc etc.

I think maybe kids in japan, or even kids in general arent that stupid, they know their rider toys cant fly or transform by themselves... Its just adults think all kids are idiots. Not all the children are stupid, just a few, and if they buy the toy thinking that it will actually fly, they deserve being disappointed for being that stupid. I think that would be a good lesson for their lives! XD

Ok, ok, I hate children... But i hate stupid laws that make no sense too.
