I've never flown, so i'm curious. How big is too big to fit in an airplane seat? Depending on the size, airlines may want to consider building bigger seats.

Seats are made the size they are so they can squeeze as many in the cabin as possible to fit as many passengers in as possible. The only seats that are bigger are in Business Class or 1st Class.

If you ever took a seat on a public bus or Greyhound, it's about that size for the plane seats.

That seems fairly reasonable.

Small seats means they can fit more regular people, wider seats would require re-arrangement of the inside or a different plane. Will be more pricier too if it's a bigger plane or the space the big seats would take up.

I definitely get that, it just got me thinking. If they continue to alienate a (let's face it) significantly large group of people in the US, it could hurt an already hurting industry. Just a thought.

Now, now it's not America is fattyland. True, obesity is much of a problem paragoned to other countries, but then again, US are huge. And you're the country where McDonald is born, so you're already doomed from the start^__^

I can imagine him being a complete bell end to the staff, which probably didn't help matters. Kevin Smith has never seemed to me to be that much of a nice guy.

Yes, I also figured him goin crazy with hostesses and stewards. I had this clear image of him yellin " You dont know who I am", while his triple chin moves slowly.

Damn. Consider though I'm just 170 centimeters. I'm height impaired-_- And sometimes can be a problem on planes. If the guy next to me is fat, he sees me and thinks "oh good, I can relax myself all I want". And I end submerged :-|

Yeah, I've got another 20cm on ya. We in Wisconsin seem to have gotten a lot of Europe's barbarian gene pool.

But... we also love our bratwurst, beer and cheese, so while Wisconsin women tend to be pretty busty, Wisconsinites in general are pretty hefty around the middle.
