Keith should put The Doctor on a banner

Looks good, now just throw in the Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Grant, Lenny Henry, and Richard E. Grant Doctors ha.

I tried that, but I kept getting stuck in a time loop and having to sit around on the couch of reasonable comfort for my laptop to recharge for ages, so I just said "feck it" and tossed this up.

Anywho, just wanted to poke my nose in real quick for any future banner makers besides the three of us that already exist (and well, I guess this note could be for the others too).

The background color for the banners is #396DA5 and your left hand side should fade or otherwise transition to that solid color so that your banner doesn't appear to "break off". The banners posted thus far have effects/different colors all the way up to said edge which would clash with the background when posted.

A quick example using Quarks; simple but now it doesn't break.

EDIT: besides the fact that Aoi's doesn't have the logo on it, and the characters should really have a drop shadow ... it looks alright. But the logo is what's going to kill ya with 11 characters. And as much as possible we try to keep the logo static; minimal editing [although we each have our variant -- mine is the 'shiny' one] no resizing or moving it around.

Just go with the 11 doctors, no companions (unless you want a companion banner) sounds good.

If fitting all 11 incarnations of the Doctor is hard enough to squeeze in, I doubt a companion banner would work unless it was divided by "eras." (There's been approximately 35-7 companions on TV, varying depending on whether you consider the Brigadier a companion, whether Romana's incarnations are seperate, K9's incarnations are seperate, whether you include all the "one-off" companions, and then there's the expanded universe...)

Well I basically didn't put the logo in because I have no freaking clue what the font is and figured someone else could put it in. Though, it could be placed decently, at least in mine, I could probably toss it up somewhere between old!5th and new!5th.

I dunno, drop shadow might look nice, though I didn't put much work into this, just a quick ten minute thing to kill time, the only thing I really put effort into was the background effects, anything "real" would probably have much better rendered characters.

Though I think it would be cool to create a new skin that matches different banner types so that we wouldn't have to fade off and leave a clean strip. Personally, I've always liked themes with different logos, I know of a few forums that have different logos depending on the theme in use.

Keith you put Smallville on a banner and I'm pretty sure there are just as much people on this board that like Doctor Who as there are Smallville fans. Throw us a bone and put a Time Lord on a banner.
