Actor Kane Kosugi (35) issued a fax to the media on Wednesday, publicly announcing that he got married last month. His wife is a woman from Hong Kong who is three years younger than him.

Kosugi said that he met the woman overseas, though he did not indicate how long they had been dating.

Kosugi's last reported relationship was with golfer Riko Higashio (34), who got engaged earlier this year to actor Junichi Ishida (55). Kosugi and Higashio dated for three years before breaking up in 2005.

Dude, did you go to the site that KRAM linked to? It says that Kosugi and Higashio USED to date, but that they broke up. Higashio got engaged to veteran Japanese actor Ishida Junichi a few months ago.

On Tuesday, actor Junichi Ishida (55) and professional golfer Riko Higashio (33) held a press conference to publicly announce their engagement. Their relationship was first revealed in July.

Higashio's father, who is just four years older than Ishida, had been against the idea of their marriage, but they finally earned his approval in late September. They have not set a specific date for the wedding, but they will likely hold it before the start of the next golf season.

Coinciding with the announcement was the news that actress Chiaki Matsubara (51) got divorced at the start of this year. Matsubara was Ishida's second wife, married to him between 1988 and 1999, though she had remarried shortly after their breakup.

All that we're being told is that Kosugi's new wife is from Hong Kong, and that she's 3 years younger than him. She has not named at all, probably for privacy reasons.
