I find it kind if funny Haruto is getting all angry that Fueki drove "so many" people to despair when throughout the entire show we haven't actually seen this happen once outside of it being used as a punchline to a really bad joke.
In any case, it really seems like they were hinting at things that "should have been" this episode. Like, they were acting like there had been this longstanding animosity between Haruto and the Section Zero guy that finally got resolved, when the fact is that Kizaki barely ever had any screentime and most of us probably thought that subplot concluded in that one arc back in the 10s.
There's more like this, but that was the one that really struck me.
And another thing - while I've really grown to like the Mage suit, the one thing I'm really frustrated with is the claw. The claw is there. They didn't do the smart thing and make it appear via a ring. Why, if they're going to HAVE the claw, is it that every single Mage related fight has passed without the claw being used like a claw? With the exception of it being used for GIANT this episode, it's been basically ignored since it appeared, making me wonder why they bother with it at all.
