Hym. Was this week's ep a stand alone episode, or the first ep in a two part arc? It feels like the schedule of 2-part arcs was through off after christmas being standalone. I ask because I like to watch both ep parts of an arc together.

well overall i see him as a bit of a bumbling arrogant rival type rider-one hes under the mistaken impression that wizard also had to eat mana -meaning they are going to fight about it -also he is probably more concerned about there being more phantoms to eat -he may not help prevent them from despair -infact he may want them too so he can go to the underspace and eat the mana. Also mayo of all things thats stuff is disgusting its food version of glue-its used to hold unlike things together as a medium. Its not a topping -it also overpowers everything else.
Either way i have a feeling this guy is going to be more of a pain than anything else. Im kinda hoping for a kamen rider kaiza situation were his own arrogance gets him killed and someone else takes over as beast. But thats just wishful thinking on my part. Either way he is going to be a pain in the rear i know it though i want to know if he has a bike
Why would you want anyone to die? Character or not that is pretty harsh. Also what kind of Mayo have you been eating man?
I doubt we will be getting another Meteor style character this soon, and it isn't as if he has attacked Haruto yet. Heck he even went as far as to heal the guy for no other reason than he was there. They will fight, but I doubt it will be more than once or twice. It's almost tradition at this point, unless your Date, and even he caused trouble for Eiji more than once.
Also no, he won't have a bike because he doesn't need one. 1: He can fly. 2: His Chimera has somehow been tamed.
"You need your bike to control your dragon? That's adorable. I'm just gonna hop up on my Chimera's head now and do poses while it fights."
Not trying to bash you or anything, I just disagree with...everything you just said.
I forgot to put thought into that line, because I thought it was the typical weird character blabber; but now I'm not sure I'm thinking the right way, because to me danger dwindle's down opportunity...for anything...because you're in danger..
Oooo...pressure making you see things differently. I'm not sure I like his philosophy. He's basically saying you need a negative to bring out a new/greater positive.
...kinda like when I cram a 15 page paper in 2 days :O_O:
Anyone have a more positive example than the ones I came up with..

While Toei seems to have no problem with Meteor types year after year, I agree that Beast isn't one; he doesn't seem to have any real antagonism towards Haruto. He isn't the angsty, revenge-driven type that people associate with douchebag secondary Riders. He's just doing whatever he has to do to survive.
I like him a lot so far, I think he's great fun. It is so refreshing to see a dynamic other than the usual nice main Rider/dick secondary Rider
An example in the episode was that the danger of the Phantom created an opportunity for him to survive. I admit I think it's a interesting philosophy. It's a nice contrast to Haruto's thinking.

Thrill seekers. In the heat of the moment they find a certain state of mind where things are just clearer. In a sense they find peace through danger. So danger becomes their hope. A sense of adventure; of doing what so few others are able to do. Not because they have to, but because they can.
