I realize no one's posted here in a week, but I'm hoping this is still happening.

Appearance: Bryce is just north of six feet tall with a slim build, though by virtue of height he still weighs in at just under 175 lbs. He is German on his mother's side and Japanese on his father's, but has a German accent due to being raised by his mother, and continues using German pronouns because he doesn't "get all the ores and bokus" and as a way of honoring his mother. His standard attire consists of a band T-shirt (Metallica, Rammstein, and Led Zeppelin being featured prominently on at least half his wardrobe) with darker jeans and, depending on the weather, a black sweatshirt or a windbreaker. After receiving his Double Driver, he sewed pockets on the inside ofy his coats and jackets for the Memories and added it to his permanent wardrobe.
Rider Designation: Kamen Rider Double/W (Self-dubbed "Kamen Reiter Doppel" because they're "Not the only ones that can steal words from another language")
History: Bryce was told that he was born in Dresden*, Germany not long after his parents separated and was raised by a combination of his mother, maternal aunt, and step-father with no contact whatsoever with his father or anyone from that side of his family, as per the custody agreement. Upon graduating from high school, he took a year off before University, ostensibly to travel the rest of Europe. In reality, however, he actually only traveled as far as southern France before hopping on a flight to Fuuto in order to find his biological father, having lied to his family because he knew his mother would never allow him anywhere near Japan.
Personality: Bryce has always stuck out like a sore thumb in his native country due to his ethnicity, which is just the way he liked it. He always tried keeping himself as close to the rest of his peers as he could while still not sticking to anyone one group, dividing his time between as many groups and extracurriculars as he could and always doing a fair job at them. He was never the star of the class or the team, but he was nonetheless in the top seven, embodying the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none"
Extra Info: Bryce's hobbies include basketball and photography and his favorite food is a multiway tie between whatever fried meat he can find, though if he had to choose he'd pick schnitzel.
Relationships: Bryce stays in close contact with his mother, Aunt Nichole, and his step-father, calling them once a week at minimum, and maintains occasional contact with three former classmates, two of which moved out of the country for University, while the third took Bryce's idea of traveling Europe for a year and actually followed through with it, and incidentally is the source of the pictures Bryce emails home to his parents.

He looks like an interesting enough guy, but I'm going to need a little more history. Namely just a short somthing about why he would be chosen to be W by the guild. If you want the info to be kept between us then PM it to me. If not then just add it to your profile. Basically I need to know why he is W; both why he was asked and why he said yes.

Ask and ye shall receive. I'd rather leave a main rider open for someone else-- and I've been playing a fair number of female characters lately. So let's do the logical thing and round out the OOOs cast.
Name: Hogan Osman
Age: 25
Appearance: The first thing that is noticeable about Hogan is that he is shorter than most: he stands at a very moderate five-foot-four. What he lacks in height, Hogan makes up for by being fast and strong. His body is thick with muscle and trained to respond at a moment's notice. More than one person has thought him an easy mark due to his size and found themselves sorely mistaken.
Hogan is blond, and he keeps his hair cut close to his skull. His face is square and strong as well as slightly squashed from many fist-fights. His brown eyes have a hint of a squint to them, peek out from behind a flat nose, and square lips.
His manner of dress is fairly straightforward. He wears a black polo shirt, jeans and boots.

History: Hogan was the only child of Martha and Stewart Osman. Throughout his school years, Hogan developed an affinity for athletics over the sciences (much to his father's dismay) and starred in the sports program. He didn't do much planning for the future, preferring to live in the moment, but secretly began to hope that he would become a professional athlete.
Throughout high school and college, Hogan gravitated towards more contact sports. He found that he enjoyed being an underdog and that led him to the wrestling and boxing ring. He made a name for himself as a fast and quick fighter who could get in, get the job done and get out.
Then things took a turn for the unexpected. Hogan's college savings began to run dry and his family hit upon hard times. Wanting to at least finish school, Hogan enrolled in the military and utilized their programs to finish college. Upon graduation, he went to serve his time-- still half hoping that he could finish up and get back to athletics.
Things didn't go quite as expected. While he wasn't mechanically or computer inclined, he did have an affinity for straight combat and marksmanship. He became a brawler and sniper.
It was during this time in his life that Hogan developed an interest in gambling. The second idiosyncrasy that he picked up during his tenure was the habit of walking a coin across his fingers. He found the process soothing and that it helped release the tension in his hands.
He performed his missions well and something somewhere must have caught someone's eye. Hogan was drafted for a special project and made a liaison with the Kougami Foundation. Apparently, the team behind the Birth Project was having a hard time of it-- no one had yet successfully managed to utilize their research. Hogan, seeing the enormous potential with the project, agreed to undergo testing to see if he could handle the suit.
Things did not go well at first. Hogan had just as much difficulty utilizing Birth as those who had come before him did. But he was nothing if not tenacious. Just as he had gotten up in the ring after being knocked down countless times, so, too, did he pick himself up after each failure and try again.
Then, success. Where science and knowledge had failed, pure stubbornness had succeeded. Hogan successfully became Birth and managed to maintain the transformation for an extended period of time.
With that, Hogan was transferred to the Guild and there he began to train with the suit, getting used to the ins and outs and the various ways of utilizing the new armor.
He wound up taking Birth to the field a lot faster than anyone would have liked. An attack of the Moth Yummy put Team Birth on the spot and they were forced to dispatch Hogan to put a stop to the rampage. Hogan rose to the challenge, became Kamen Rider Birth and, after a hard-fought battle, managed to destroy the Yummy through a combination of hooking the moth with the crane arm and blasting away with the Blaster.
Their project's success was now assured. Birth's concept had proven itself as a worthy concept and the project was given the green light to proceed.
Personality: Hogan's a very straightforward individual, preferring to take the direct approach whenever possible. He's a bit of a brawler who loves a good fight, but has the experience to temper and focus that bloodlust into something beneficial to the projects at hand.
He tends to run his mouth in the field, trying to get underneath his opponent's skin and put them off their mental guard. He enjoys playing the odds as well. A decent card game or a game of chance appeals to him, and he isn't afraid to take those risks in battle either.
When he's not brawling or fighting, Hogan's a fairly relaxed individual. He'll be friendly and outgoing, but he does have a bad habit of carrying a joke too far or forgetting to check his mouth at the door. He can easily be sarcastic and factitious and forget that not everyone enjoys humor as much as he does.
Hogan is... does rather poorly with women. Not because of any bigotry on his part, but simply because he gets nervous trying to talk to them. Romance is one problem that he can't simply aim and swing at, and so he has more difficulty handling that than anything else.

` Since becoming Birth, Hogan has replaced his habit of walking a coin across his knuckles with walking a cell medal across his fingers. This insures that he always has a cell medal on hand to transform with.
` Hogan hates Birth's name with a fiery passion and will utilize it as little as possible in conversation.

` Stewart Osman: Although they exchange words, Stewart and Hogan have two radically different thought processes. This leads them to clash quite a bit.
` Martha Osman: Hogan has a much better relationship with her than his father.
` Ricard Blue: Hogan's comrade in arms from the military unit. The two stay in touch and enjoy a good laugh on occasion.
` Thomas O'Grady: Hogan's CO and contact within the military department.

Hogan eh? This will work very well and opens a number of potential story arcs involving the military clashing with Guild policy. After all the military and Guild have very different stand points on certain matters. Oh yes this will be fun.
