Episode 1: Ultimate Weapon
Inhumanoids, monstrous constructs often resembling horrific fusions of machine and man which use highly advanced technology to conceal their true appearance and pass themselves off as human until given the order to attack. As the stories of their attacks continue to circulate the general public finds themselves in a near constant state of paranoid fear, never knowing who might be one of the Inhumanoids and who may be their next target. No one truly knows who or what initially created them, or what their reasons for creating these abominations are...

The room was practically pitch black, making it near impossible to tell who else may have been inside, if there was anyone at all. One could only assume they werent alone though, Baroque was never the type to advertise to only one potential buyer, not when it came to the costly resources that went into manufacturing their product. Besides it was a way of showing off the muscle of their creations, which was also their way of deterring people from openly speaking of these meetings. After all if they could create something that frightening to sell off to others, they were bound to have plenty more frightening horrors that they kept for themselves.
Finally after what felt likehours of waiting in this darkness the faint sound of footsteps could be heard making their way to the room, accompanied by a dimly lit screen switching on. Soon enough the person walked into view, though was still obscured by the darkness of the room with the screen only revealing a dim sillhouette of him. "Afternoon gentlemen." he said, his voice apparently distorted by some sort of device, reconfirming Baroque's love of secrecy "I shall keep this brief as we all know what you and I are here for so without further delay I present to you Baroque's newest advancement in combat Inhumanoid technology." he said as an image appeared on the screen.
Generally most expected bigger and more complex creations from Baroque every time they attended these meetings, but instead they saw something quite different. Rather than an even larger and bulkier monstrosity loaded with numerous weapons of varying type, they saw a rather simple looking being which held no obvious forms of weaponry. It was one of the more humanlike creations it seemed as it had no extra limbs, no weapon holding tail of any kind, just a simple humanoid build with the usual two arms, two legs and a head. It also seemed rather lightly armored as well, it seemed to be clad in a simple skin tight suit with armor plating on the shoulders, forearms, knees, shins and torso. The helmet was rather simple and vaguely insectoid, possessing a pair of antennae, a pair of compound eyes and a vaguely insectoid mouthpiece which probably served as some kind of filter.
"This is Baroque Inhumanoid Model-S, codenamed "Siege" the man said. Anticipating words of doubt from the potential buyers he quickly spoke up once more. "In spite of it's appearance, Siege is quite literally a one man army. In place of the large heavy weapons of previous generation Inhumanoids Siege's body itself is the weapon." he explained as the monitor zoomed in on the cyborg identified as Siege's left hand where what looked like some sort of high tech version of brass knuckles were located. "On the left hand there is the the Volt Knuckle, which can generate enough electricity to power a small town, or more ideally fry anything unfortuneate enough to come in contact with it." he said before zooming in on the right hand which possesed for small liquid filled capsules on the knuckles. "On this hand there are a series of capulse filled with a special explosive liquid developed by Baroque which explodes when it makes impact on a target. Yes some damage will be done to Siege himself, but thanks to the amazing regeneration abilities given by our new generation nanomachines, and damaged or lost parts can be regenerated in a matter of seconds." he explained as whispering could be heared from various parts of the room. "Moving on, on the heels of both feet there are a pair of jets which give Siege low altitude flight abilities, obviously making quick get aways very easy. In addition the jets can be reversed giving him rather impressive kicking power." he told them before finally zooming in on the face and highlighting various features. "With these lenses Siege can not only see things at long range, but can see heat signatures and gain limited x-ray vision. The antennae allow him to detect any and all targets and threats around him and finally the mouth piece which filters out various gases, ensuring that the core human isnt susceptible to any sorts of poisonous gases." he said, finishing off his explanation of Siege's specifications. The last part, "core human" was pretty much the term used for what was considered to be the main component of any inhumanoid. Pretty much all Inhumanoids were all human at one point before Baroque modified them into the fierce fighting machines they were today, and thus certain precautions had to be taken to ensure that petty things like hazardus fumes wouldnt damage them. "He has several other capabilities as well but we can cover those when a contract is signed."
"And now for those that still have doubts, here is a little demonstration." he said as the monitor switched from an image of Siege to live video footage of Siege in a desolate looking desert area surrounded by a massive horde of various lower-grade inhumanoids which looked like much like people wearing metallic suits modeled after skeletons, known as Blanks due to the fact that they had no animal or weapon characteristic added to them. "Commence the demonstration." he commanded as the horde rushed into attack Siege who was simply standing their motionlessly just waiting for them to come closer and attack him. Finally as one neared him, he landed a powerful strike on it with his left hand, causing it's body to surge with electricity. Immidiately after that the electricity began to surge through it and into the various others that were close by in a chain reaction and before long more than half of the Blanks were enveloped in a brilliant web of electricity before finally exploding into hundreds of charred metallic pieces. Back in the meeting room the various attendees were whispering once more about the suprising amount of power contained within the originally less than impressive cyborg. Soon enough Siege moved onto the Blanks that managed to survive his first attack by launching yet another large scale destructive attack, this time using his right hand to slam the one that had made the poor decision to sneak up on him from behind, unleashing a suprisingly large explosion. When the smoke finally cleared the ground was littered with broken cybernetic limbs, most of which were on fire with Siege standing in the center of all of the destruction with his right arm and a good chunk of his torso missing and various bloody wires and metallic bones dangling from him. Most would expect that to be the end of most, but this was not the case for the next generation cyborg whose missing pieces began to regenerate themselves, first the inner cybernetics began to repair and reconnect themselves, next the metallic bones began reassmbling themselves before the synthetic muscles reformed themselves, after that the skin regenerated rather quickly and finally the cyborg body armor repaired itself completing the regeneration process while showcasing the effectiveness of the nanomachines in his body. To think that these were just a few of this new cyborg's abilities was nothing short of frightening , and the fact that it could hide among normal humans like the others made it even scarier.
Finally Baroque's representative stepped forward when the demonstration was finished. "As you can see the Model-S is truely monstrous in terms of power, and for the right price you can put that power to work for whatever purposes you wish." he said as those attending the meeting began shouting a torrent of rather large and almost excessive offers to purchase the cyborg's services. It's power and abilities had left quite an impression on them while it's impressive power enticed them quite a bit, it was fear of it possibly being used against them by the other less than trustworthy possible buyers at the meeting that motivated them the most.
-------
It was late at night over the skies of Tokyo as a black helicopter approached a tall office building of some sort, probably belonging to some sort of soul sucking company whose philosophy was all work and no happiness whatsoever like most others in the country. Aboard the helicopter were three figures obscured by the darkness just standing and waiting for a signal to attack. "Remember, if anyone sees you kill them, if any security devices detect you destroy them ,maybe make it look like the work of some crazed terrorist and above all make sure it cant be traced back to us." the figure on the left told the one standing in the center.
"Understood..." the center figure, Siege, said in a cold monotone voice as he nodded. "Now commencing mission.." he added before leaping right from the helicopter and crashing through one of the windows of the building. made a perfect landing on his feet and showed no signs of pain or injury thanks to his strong cyborg body. His eyepieces lit up with a dim crimson light, indicating that he had switched to nightvision mode, before looking around at his surroundings. Aside from him there was one man who had stayed there to work late due to angering his boss earlier, and unfortuneately for him it wasnt a good night to be working late in that building. Siege walked up to the man who was frozen in fear at th mere sight of the cyborg, he had heard of the mysterious Inhumanoids but never imagined that he would come face to face with one of them. He attempted to run but Siege's superior speed and reflexes made it easy for him to catch up to the terrified salaryman "Commencing Termination." he saidin a disturbingly calm tone before picking him up by the neck and simple snapping it, killing him instantly before simply dropping him. He intended to wipe out most of the building and anything in the parts that would end up destroyed, which meant he had no real reason to be concerned about disposing of the body. After that he proceed to punch a hole in a nearby wall looking for some sort of wiring, which was a simple task for anyone that could effortlessly punch through concrete much like himself. Soon enough he found what he was looking for and ripped the wires apart, exposing their non-insulated metallic components, and grabbed both halves with his left hand before unleashing a massive surge of electricity through them.
Sparks soon began flying from the the various power outlets, devices began exploding because of the sudden massive power surge and as a result fires began starting all over the building. Siege continued to use his Volt Knuckle to ignite even more fires within the building. Within minutes the office building erupted into a massive pillar of fire that was quickly beginning to crumble. Nearby people were frantically calling the fire department in hopes of containing the threat, not knowing that any and all attempts being worthless and futile due to the source. The fire trucks soon arrived but for all intensive purposes they were already too late.
Inside the towering inferno the still unscathed Siege raised his right arm and slamming it into the floor, resulting in a large explosion, and once he regenerated he did so once more. He continued to do so over and over again until the building's structural integrity was all but nonexistant resulting in a rain of blazing concrete which crashed down onto the ground destroying numerous vehicles, damaging neighboring buildings and injuring countless people all at once. Siege, not programmed to think about his own safety or well being, thanks to his nanomachines, more or less allowed himself to get caught within the falling rubble before being buried under tons of concrete and steel which was still overwhelmingly hot. Most people would be dead in such a situation but his strenthened body was more than enough to handle it without any serious injuries.
Hours later the flames had doused finally and most of the injured had been taken to the local hospital. Now they were in the process of earching through the rubble on the off chance that someone might actually be alive in there. Suddenly a piece of rubble moved a little, causing the rescue workers to freeze in shock. Even more shocking was what was seen after the piece of rubble was lifted and pushed over, a young man apparently somewhere in his late teens or early twenties. He was rather tall and had a fairly athletic build ,the kind that could possibly be a proffessional athlete of some sort. His brown hair was singed and disheveled as a result of his situation. His face bore a blank and practically souless expression as if he were was sleep walking or had just woke up. He wore a long brown coat which was covered in dust and was burnt in some places, a simple white shirt covered in ashes which also had a few holes in them, his rather plain jeans looked as if they were damaged before hand due to the holes in the knees and had it's fair share of rips and burns just like the rest of his clothes. Even more shocking to the rescue workers was the fact that he simply climbed from the rubble and simply began to walk away as if nothing had happened while still looking like he was in some kind of trance. The various rescue workers attempted to stop him, in hopes of figuring out just how he was able to still be alive after the ordeal that had just happened, but they were all simply flicked away like bugs as he just continued walking.
After a few minutes of walking the streets seemingly without any sense of direction he found himself alone once again. At that same time a man practically racing home to see his family after being sent on a business came flying down the road. It seemed inevitable that the two would collide and collide they did despite the man's best attempt to stop before hitting the young man. After the collosion the man regained his composure and exited his car in order to see the state of the victim in hopes that he wouldnt be too late to at least call an ambulance for him. But he saw something that was the exact opposite of what he expected to see. Aside from a few scratches and bruises the young man was just fine, the car on the other hand was not. The from of the car had almost completely caved in as if a wrecking ball had been dropped on it. He didnt know if it was a lack of sleep or what, but he simply couldnt what was in front of this eyes. Could this young man be one of them ? The rmors said that they looked like humans. Trembling, he took out his cellphone and dialed an ambulance so whatever this guy was would be someone else's problem and then just running out of fear of the possible danger involved with what the young man might be.
