The Greeeds without body armor look a bit like Griffith near the end of the anime.

Hmm, it's an interesting connection, but I think it has more to do with the whole Yummy being a play on "Mummy" and all that, which would carry over to the Greeed too :hmm:

The KIN sound effect is used to note that it's a cell medal and not a core medal.

Looking at it now the heads look kind of stupid with out the armor. Gameru can pull it off though.

SO what's with the O-scanner toy? It has a "TORA TORA TORA KING" sound on it.

That's two tiger core medals and a tiger cell medal and it says "kin" not "king".

I think he's saying that Greeed are born when a Yummy, after eating so many Cell Medals, evolves and turns into a Greeed.

It's like Pokemon.
