BTW, how the hell are people getting "Den-O vibes" from this first episode of OOOs, and I'm not?
I really see no "Den-O esque" vibes at all in this first episode, and I hope that I won't be getting some in the near-to-distant future from this series even though Kobayashi is writing the series.
I think only like two people said that so far.
Fast-forward to about 10-12 hours later, you've got a shitload of people saying there are "Den-O vibes" from this series.
Aside from the kaijin (Ankh) helping Eiji to become a Rider (OOOs) and some of the comedic humor aside, THERE IS NOTHING DEN-O ABOUT THIS SERIES!!!! (Maybe Ryuki tho b/c Eiji does kinda remind me of Shinji's personality.........but no Ryotaro feeling whatsoever)
Question
Why is it that sometimes Japanese shows or cartoons use English sometimes?
Really, the only thing remotely "den-o" about this series is that Eji is just this average guy who becomes a kamen rider, and totally new and ametuerish to the whole deal....and even that is a freaking stretch.

So i just watched the subbed version....and i really kinda like it. The suit is still kinda meh..but i gotta give it kudos for being different. Looks like we're all along for a crazy ride.
And i don't know if anyone else loved, but Eji mentioning why the belt sings TaToBa just made me like this show even more. Bring on da OOO's!
And why not? Does it have to be pure Japanese?
